12 Shoes Of Christmas - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of wearing festive Irregular Choice shoes!  Two very different styles today, but we're both going metallic.
I still haven't had the courage to wear these shoes outside yet (well in fairness, I haven't really had the opportunity this year). I am definitely fearful of breaking them. I don't know if they would surprise me and not be as fragile as I think, but at the moment I still hold them oh so carefully and cringe if anyone else even contemplates picking one up! It's funny, well, actually at the time it wasn't, but when they arrived, my Mum's friend was here. She's rather brash (!) and just dived into the box, grabbing a shoe before I could stop her. It felt like the longest minute of my life, as she brandished it around, 'admiring' it and wondering what they did. My Mum could see the look of horror on my face and the absolute relief as I safely got it back in my hands. I now have them enclosed in a display case so nobody can touch them! The green is more vivid than it looks in these photos, so they are a little more Christmas feeling in real life. It's two-tone so shines purple as well, which is evident around the edges, in these photos. Tomi is wearing awesome crackled metallic flats. This style has come in various colours, florals and prints over the years.  Be sure to check back tomorrow to see which shoes we are wearing!

Today I'm wearing: Green metallic Glissade
Today Tomi is wearing: Gold metallic Duke 2nd

    1. Yeah sometimes the names and shoes can be a bit mis-matched, but spot-on with these! I agree those shoes look beautiful on Tomi x

  3. I LOVE those green shoes (and probably would have killer your mum's friend in your position, I dislike when people grab my things without asking, it's so rude!) and totally understand you having them locked up - they are art!
