12 Shoes Of Christmas - Day 7
Hello, sorry for the tardy post, just sneaking in before the end of the day! I've had and still have actually, a really bad migraine. I've been sitting with a migraine cooling pad thing stuck to my forehead like a numpty for the past few hours, after being forced to admit that it wasn't going to go away on it's own. I refuse to take more medication and it rarely helps anyway. I was joking with my doctor the other week that I'm well beyond the personal pill daily intake I set myself. I'm not particularly 'good' at taking pills (I remember when to take them, I just don't like it and struggle to swallow the bigger ones), I think my maximum quota used to be no more than 5 a day. Then with the iron deficiency a couple of years ago, I had a few extras to take, now I have 4 Vitamin D big buggers to swallow and now he added something else to the list, so that takes me to double my target. I was saying if the hayfever or iron comes back, I'll be looking at what I can switch out and put in it's place! My doctor is good that way, that I can muck around and laugh about it (what else can you do?) and I do realise other people have to take much more than that in a day, it's just a silly thing I set myself!
I'm also really bad that I only like taking the pretty coloured ones. LOVE the migraine ones because they are pearly blue, see through and you can see tiny little 'pearls' inside, so I call those my 'mermaid pills' (clearly they work well!), the new one is bright yellow, so I call that my 'sunshine pill'. Anyway I was going to keep words to a minimum, but I can witter on about anything evidently! My shoes today aren't a Christmas green, more of a bold turquoise, but they are covered in sequins and real show-stoppers, so look rather festive I thought. The big satin bow made me think of wrapping parcels too. Tomi is wearing a beautiful pair of courts, which I've always liked, called Rosie Joy. They have the classic cortsesan upturned toe and heel and the uppers are embellished with studs and colourful jewels and contrast metallic. They also came in an antique gold and are truly beautiful. What do you think of the shoes today?
Today Tomi is wearing: Black Rosie Joy
Today I'm wearing: Sequins Poker Joker boots

Oooh, I've never seen those one's of Tomi's- they are brilliant! I love the colour of yours too!x
ReplyDeleteI love the colourful jewels on them, like little treasure chests.
DeleteI love both. Rosie Joy looks better on the foot than by itself (great with the black tights), while the dice ones always make me wish they were more blue-green and less green-blue (I would have bought them otherwise).
ReplyDeleteThe boots are quite strange on the foot...you feel like you want to tie them tighter but the sequins makes them quite rigid and that makes your ankle look bigger than it is. Beautiful to look at though.
DeleteI've been following your IC christmas shoes on your instagram but have yet to look on the blog - lovely!
ReplyDeletethanks!
