Shoes: Pooch Perfect | Irregular Choice 

I finally get to share this pair with you as it's my birthday this week and Mum said she'd give me these boots (after I ordered them last month), so although they've been in my possession, I haven't wanted to wear them before now. Last week, I posted the heavily embellished Garden Gala-it seems I've been buying ankle boots a lot lately!

These were another sale purchase recently, which I've had my eye on since they launched.  Remember the dog heeled Bougainvillea a couple of weeks back? They were from the same collection and if these boots had the doggy heel, they'd have been perfect for me.  The heel here is a little boring, but the shoe uppers weren't that exciting , so the combination of the two would've been perfect.

This was a brand new character heel which launched last year for AW21.  Whilst I was really taken with the sad wee face on the dog, none of the uppers screamed at me.  Out of them all, these green glitter courts appealed the most, so I got them in the sale and I'm so glad I did.  They are really beautiful.

Shoes: Felicette | Irregular Choice 

The minute I saw these boots last season, I knew I had to have them.  Then I tried to talk myself out of them, after getting the much fancier, but similar themed Warp Speed.  I resisted them when they were heavily discounted during the Black Friday sales (only because I had no money) and once the Christmas sales came, they'd sold out everywhere.  I kept trying to console myself, saying they'd maybe be too low heeled, the colour wasn't as exciting as the stock photos showed etc etc.  However, Lottie's eventually reduced them and they were the only remaining place I could find with my size in this colour (they also come in black) and I had a voucher to spend too, so I swooped and I'm so glad I did.  They far exceeded my expectations.

Hello! Been a few weeks since I've been able to post, but here's an outfit I wore last week for a hospital appointment. It was my "big" appointment at Ninewells, which I'll go into more detail on Pink Haired Princess when I have the chance, but it meant an early start to get to Dundee on time. Not a fan of the early start! Getting dressed these days is like a major mission, finding what still fits and is weather appropriate.

Shoes: Pretty Poodle Irregular Choice

Hola! Now that I've finished my Star Wars series (!), I have a full outfit for you today. I've had to get dressed quite a bit recently and sometimes I've photographed it, so I'll see what's salvageable for blog posts! Surprisingly this wasn't a doctors appointment, but a trip out for ice-cream to Nardini's. We were attempting to try out my new wheelchair and get me out more (or at all!), plus it had been my birthday earlier in the week (this was back in May). I ended up so wrecked after this, that it's not the type of thing I could do regularly unfortunately. I skipped the ice-cream part and instead opted for a scone (becoming quite a scone fiend) and a piece of Millionaire which I was going to bring home, but managed to eat there too (well I gave some to my sister, who managed a sundae and that)!

Day 654 - I Saw A Photo, She Ain't Even All That

Shoes: Lilac 'Ciccia' Irregular Choice 

Hello chickadees! Another gorgeous day and it's my birthday today, yipee! Even although I've spent most of the day by myself I got all dressed up, but I've got a few more posts to catch up on before then. This is Tuesday's outfit and the summery weather has meant I can wear these slightly awkward mid-length dresses with bare legs. They're too long for leggings really and because of the floaty light fabric, I doubt I'd ever wear it with tights (too clingy). I'd maybe like an inch or so off the hem, I wasn't quite sure about it to begin with, but actually it looks alright in these photos. I wore a slip underneath because of the light fabric (it's by no means sheer but you know what I mean). I did wonder if I'd gone overkill on the lilac...I had lilac/grey nails, lilac eyeshadow, lilac hair, dress and shoes!

Wearing: Lilac spot dress Dorothy Perkins, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan, sunglasses Prada.
Fit: True to size, small platform and 4 3/4" heel.
Comfort: They blistered underneath my big toe (kinda random), the slingback isn't the type to stay on your heel, but by no means did I feel my foot slipping out or the shoe coming off when walking. The uppers did start to dig in across my foot after a while and it's probably the cause of the blistering.
