Day 1264 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Looks Like Rain Dear | Irregular Choice 

A break from the planned continuation of unicorn heels, after red Trixy last week, because a week past Friday Irregular Choice launched their Christmas collection. Quite early for once! I bought several pairs and they came the next day and I'm going to do fit reviews for each and then hopefully get a more in-depth look up on Pink Haired Princess later. The weather has definitely not been camera friendly this past week, so I hastily emptied the piles of shoe boxes from the shoe room floor when I spied some light at the weekend. I managed two pairs before collapsing in a heap, so here's Looks Like Rain Dear, brilliant name by the way!

Day 1196 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Paint A Fawn | Irregular Choice 

Today, I have my second pair from the Paint Your Own Heel collection that launched at Irregular Choice the other week.  My cat heels from last week are reviewed here if you missed them.  Once more, I won't be wearing these as they are, I'll definitely be decorating them, I just haven't decided on what to do yet.  As soon as I saw them, I felt they were the ones most inspiring me and the cats less so, but actually I already have my cat concept and I'm now struggling a bit with these.  The uppers are amazing; this bold purple, actually more pinkish than the Cadbury purple they look here.  I can't think of any proper purple shoes I have from IC (or anywhere actually) and certainly not a character heel, so they really excite me in that aspect.  I'm just trying to think of something I can do to compliment such a vivid colour as I don't want to dull it down.  The glitter part is stunning and the main material is a textured croc-metallic.

Shoes: Irregular Choice Fantastic Fawn 

Hello! Haven't had a Shoesday post in a long time (April actually)!  If you follow my Instagram or have seen my posts on Pink Haired Princess, you'll know I fell instantly in love with the most recent Irregular Choice collection.  It was called Family Reunion and was basically a bunch of the oldest character heels remade in completely different uppers with some of the heels updated in new ways too.  So, I thought I'd work my way through my haul with fit reviews, starting with my most favourite pair (yep, I've mentally ranked them), Fantastic Fawn. 

Day 1146 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Santas Globe Irregular Choice 

Sorry I'm a day late, it's been a busy week already and I was going to persevere last night at midnight and get this post finished, but my brain was frazzled. I knew the post was going to be quite picture heavy too, so I wanted to wait until I could see straight! So, another pair of Christmas shoes for you this week and Irregular Choice have really gone to town on their festive releases for 2018. Last week, it was light-up gingerbread ankle boots and this time, it's the amazing snow-globe heels. So we've just seen the carousel release where the horse was inside a glitter globe heel with liquid and this is similar. Instead of a Santa character heel, he's actually inside the heel.

Day 1143 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Woodland Playtime boots, Irregular Choice Disney Bambi 

I'm going to try and keep chatter to a minimum this week because I'm absolutely exhausted.  These boots arrived late yesterday (too late for photos), so I managed to shoot them earlier today to get them onto the blog.  I only bought two pairs of shoes from the collections that launched last Friday, these and a Dumbo pair.  There wasn't much in the way of high heels in these ranges and that's what I prefer.  No character heels either which is always a slight disappointment.  In saying that, the bags slayed (I got lots) and both boots were pricey, so I'm kinda thankful as that was all I could afford.

Shoes: Irregular Choice Santa's Ninth 

Hello, today is Sunday, the final day of my extra Shoesday Tuesday posts this week. Today I bring you the wonderful new Santa heel for 2016. You may remember a few years ago I bought Dreamy, the very first Santa shaped heel by Irregular Choice. I'd loved the gnome heel which had come out earlier that year, so the festive version ended up becoming one of my most worn shoes! Last year, the Santa heel returned, this time with furry reindeer uppers, complete with metallic antlers and googly eyes. Last Friday the newer variation launched and I'll admit I felt really guilty contemplating buying them when they were so similar to the year before. Now I've got them in my hands though, I can see a lot of differences between the two and besides that, I fell head over heels for them, so there's no way I'm returning them!

12 Shoes Of Christmas - Day 1

Over the years of blogging, I've been very fortunate to meet so many wonderful people with shared interests as myself. The majority of my friends (even those I studied fashion with) think of me as a crazy shoe woman and roll their eyes if I spend any longer than a minute discussing heel heights, favourite linings, my thoughts on the latest character heel or which shoe is getting priority on my virtual wishlist for fear of selling out. So I'm extremely appreciative that I have Tomi in my life. We struck up a friendship years ago, over, you guessed it, shoes! Irregular Choice to be exact and though we've never met in real life, I really value our chats about the stresses of online shoe shopping, trying to guess future releases and also what's going on in our lives. She's the first person I want to talk to when there's exciting shoe news and we strategize and encourage each other on special release days. She's just as crazy about shoes as I am, so would never judge me for talking endlessly about them (and between us, we really do).

How are you all this week?  You've already seen these shoes in brown with an orange deer and here are the black pair.  I loved them so much, I just had to get both colours.
