Day 890 - But You're An Animal, Baby It's In Your Nature

Shoes: Yellow 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood Anglomania & Melissa

I was so happy to get the opportunity to wear this maxi dress yesterday as I've been wanting it for ages. I first saw it in my nearest store and they didn't have my size. It's quite snug, so I thought I'd need the bigger size, so sent Mum off on a mission to find it if she was ever in another Primark. She found loads but never in my size. So I was over the moon when I saw ASOS selling Primark and with this very dress I wanted! It's really soft and so comfortable to wear, although I'm a little aware of VBO (visible belly outline) although the print is a good disguise for it. I like giraffe print as it's a little less mainstream than say zebra or leopard.  For shoes I wanted to wear my pom pom Lady Dragon's but couldn't find them and when I spied these (my very first pair of LD's), I decided they would work well. I haven't worn them for ages. They seem to fit better than some of my other LD's, my toes didn't feel so squished.

Wearing: Giraffe print maxi dress Primark at ASOS, belt gift, cardigan Bonmarche.
Fit: True to size, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: This pair feel slightly roomier than some of my others, no issues.

Day 889 - Hi, I Got A Little Place Nearby, Wanna Go?

Shoes: Black 'So-Yeon Sarah' London College of Fashion and Irregular Choice

I had to wear a coat today : ( What's happened to the nice weather? It was properly cold (even although the temperature said otherwise) and it's been so dull. Anyway I was planning on wearing more summer-like shoes, but spied these and thought it had been a while since I last wore them. I popped in some thin insoles as they are slightly too big when I'm walking in them, but my regular size were too small. They kinda rubbed on one heel and not the other, so they still need some breaking in. Anyway, I'm hoping my summer shoes and dresses are going to get an airing again before autumn sets in!

Wearing: Plant pot dress Dorothy Perkins, black leggings, vest top and cardigan all Primark, bow gift.
Fit: Run a little small, these are a full size up. 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: A hard shoes that needs breaking in.

Day 888 - There Ain't No Jails Tight Enough To Lock Me

Shoes: Red patent bow peep toes Bronx

It was a bit dreich today, dry but colder and cloudy. I've heard so many people say they hope last week wasn't our 'summer'! Bit depressing if it is. Anyway it meant I was back to leggings and no bare legs. This dress has to be one the comfiest I own, but it is very short, so I doubt anyone could wear it without something underneath. I took the belt out and switched it for my new red one and decided I may as well add some shiny red shoes too!  You can check out my corresponding post for my 'Monster High Monday' makeup here.

Wearing: Navy cowboy dress H By Henry Holland, leggings Primark, red belt gift and boat cardigan (just seen) Peacocks.
Fit: True to size, buckle fastening and 4" chunky heel.
Comfort: Really comfy and no issues with these.

Day 887 - Cause Your Shine Is Somethin' Like A Mirror

Shoes: Gunmetal glitter 'Attack' Carvela

Hello!  A nice summery outfit for another lovely day.  It was actually almost too hot for me as there wasn't much breeze and I'm not very good with a lot of heat, but I shouldn't complain though.  My friend gave me this bow for my birthday and I figured it would look pretty cute with this dress, which hasn't seen the light of day since last summer.  Peach, coral and orange aren't colours I particularly like or wear often, although I do have a few items (like this dress) that I really love despite the colour.  I ran into the conundrum of what colour to wear with it and decided to go for grey with this cardi and shoes.  I love when you wear something really sparkly outside of Christmas and everyone stares at you like you've lost the plot...or maybe it was the bow! Who cares, I felt like a little dolly in this outfit : )

Wearing:  Peach spot pleated dress Primark, leopard cardigan Be Beau at Matalan, belt taken from another dress, skull bow gift.
Fit: Run narrow, but I felt the next size up were gaping in places, so stuck to my regular size. 4 3/4" heel.
Comfort: Can crush your toes after a while.
And a moving gif just because I felt like it!

Day 886 - My Life Would Suck Without You

Shoes: Black patent heart peep toe Moschino Cheap & Chic

My friend that cancelled my 'birthday' lunch rearranged to come and visit yesterday with her baby. I've been feeling pretty wrecked, so wasn't entirely full of cheer beforehand, but it was a lovely day. The sun was shining, her baby is absolutely adorable, so much so that I wanted to keep her (and sorry baby for holding you so the vase behind makes you look like you have Bart Simpson hair, oops silly Aunt) and we had a good ol' natter with lovely food and it was all very relaxed. I've practically lived in my jammies these past few weeks, so it was nice to make an effort to get properly dressed.  Onto my outfit and this had been a contender for our original date, but as it had been even warmer that day I decided on something else. I've been searching for a shiny red belt for a wee while now and my Mum brought me this one back from her holiday to Madeira and it's my new favourite thing! The dress I love to bits and always feel fabulous in it, then there's the winning shoe and bag combination. How awesome are they both?!

Wearing: Floral wiggle dress ASOS, red belt gift, Charming girls clutch Love Moschino, Mischief sunglasses Irregular Choice, earrings Mawi, frog ring Miss Selfridge, pig, bunny and unicorn rings Topshop, other rings my Granny's.
Fit: 4 1/4" heel, a little generous in the heel.
Comfort: No issues with these and easy to walk in.
