Day 1100 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing irregular choice rosie with love rosanna gault ankle boot
Shoes: Red Rosie With Love, Rosanna Gault for Irregular Choice

Busy day today, so I'm just going to jump straight into it. Apologies first-off for the clashing pyjamas, but I've really overdone it the past couple of days trying to get all these photos taken, so I was unable to get back upstairs and get dressed.  The light was also fading (later delivery than I hoped), but I really wanted to get these photos up today.

Day 943 - I Wish This Could Be A Happy Song

Shoes: Green striped platforms 'Rosy' Irregular Choice (by Rosanna Gault)

Hello chickadees, how are you all this weekend? Today I went on a mission to wear a pair of shoes I hadn't for ages. I came up with these fabulous heart-hole heeled courts! I'm not sure when I last wore them, but it's definitely been a while. Like yesterday, I'm wearing a bargain £8 dress, one of the newer ones my Mum picked up for me last week. I feel like I'm really finding my stride with my hair now, it usually takes a day or two to get comfortable with it and find what colours work best both clothing and makeup wise.  I'm not actually a fan of the colour blue, but I'm really loving my hair this shade.  The colour is just so vivid and I like that it's darker for winter.  It was pretty chilly this afternoon, so I'm thinking boots are on the horizon...and a coat, brrr.

Wearing: Floral dress and leggings Primark, black cardigan Red Herring.
Fit: True in length, a little tight across the foot. 5 1/4" heel and 1" platform.
Comfort: The high cut vamp can press into the foot, but otherwise ok.

Day 889 - Hi, I Got A Little Place Nearby, Wanna Go?

Shoes: Black 'So-Yeon Sarah' London College of Fashion and Irregular Choice

I had to wear a coat today : ( What's happened to the nice weather? It was properly cold (even although the temperature said otherwise) and it's been so dull. Anyway I was planning on wearing more summer-like shoes, but spied these and thought it had been a while since I last wore them. I popped in some thin insoles as they are slightly too big when I'm walking in them, but my regular size were too small. They kinda rubbed on one heel and not the other, so they still need some breaking in. Anyway, I'm hoping my summer shoes and dresses are going to get an airing again before autumn sets in!

Wearing: Plant pot dress Dorothy Perkins, black leggings, vest top and cardigan all Primark, bow gift.
Fit: Run a little small, these are a full size up. 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: A hard shoes that needs breaking in.

Day 738 - Before You Know It You're Frozen

Shoes: Black 'So-Yeon Sarah' London College of Fashion and Irregular Choice

Two posts in one day, I am a God!  I think Mama and I are going out tomorrow, so I probably won't get any done tomorrow and thus blogging harmony will resume!  I'm sitting here nursing a bleeding heel after wearing these shoes today.  If you didn't know, I ended up selling my original pair (regular size) which just felt too small and bought another, a size-up. Last time I wore them with insoles because I found them a little roomy, but I thought I'd try them without this time and I felt them slipping off my heel and hadn't realised until I got home, I was bleeding.  Gah, such is life in dazzling shoes!

Wearing:  Purple lace dress Primark, belt taken from another dress, cardigan Bonmarche, pom pom hairband Miss Selfridge, glasses Claire's.
Fit: Run a little small, these are a full size up. 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Solid base to walk on, but rubbed a bit today.

Day 690 - There's More To See Than Can Ever Be Seen

Shoes: Black 'So-Yeon Sarah' London College of Fashion and Irregular Choice

Hello, I'm still alive!  I had a mountain of eBay stuff to get through over the weekend, spent the end of last week in my jammies and yesterday helping to look after my nephews.  It was a pleasant change to get washed and dressed and makeup on today!  You may recall that you haven't seen these shoes for a while, well it's because they were super uncomfortable on me and I tried so hard to get them to like me, but it just wasn't happening.  It got to the stage that the more I tried to break them in, the more painful they became.  I had to admit that I needed a bigger size and thankfully a pair appeared at a much reduced price and I jumped on them!  I paid a ridiculous amount for my original pair...full-price at £345, I know, I know, I could puke thinking about it (it's by far the most I've paid for shoes), but what's done is done.  I'm hoping to at least make back the cost of the second pair by ebaying the originals, as much as it pains me to do so.  I have a lot of pairs that I've struggled with selling but the need for both room and money has left me with little choice.  Sad times, but I'll hopefully get over them!

Wearing:  Mint butterfly dress Dorothy Perkins, cardigan Matalan, leggings Primark, hair flower clips Debenhams.
Fit: Run a little small, these are a full size up. 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: I popped these on straight out of the box with little problems, phew!

Day 675 - Honey Got A Booty Like Pow, Pow, Pow

Shoes: Yellow and blue 'Ruth' wedge London College of Fashion & New Look

It was supposed to rain yesterday but didn't thankfully, so I got out for a wee walk.  I thought I'd wear a really bright outfit because it was a bit dull outside.  I love the little hula-girls on this dress I bought the other week.  These wedges are certainly a work-out for the legs.  I'm not saying they are difficult to walk in but you do just have to remain aware that you're high-up and have further to fall!  It takes concentration when walking to ensure you're not going to step on something that will make you topple and they're very heavy to lift!

Wearing:  Frill dress H by Henry Holland (and belt taken from other HH dress), cardigan Be Beau at Matalan,  leggings Primark, hairband gift.
Fit: True to size, 6 3/4" heel and 2 1/4" platform.
Comfort: Didn't have any issues with them hurting...you have to be careful at walking (really concentrate), but I managed quite a good pace without toppling!

Day 634 - I'm In The Hole Like A Birdy

Shoes: Green striped platforms 'Rosy' Irregular Choice (Rosanna Gault) London College of Fashion

It's something of a pattern that I don't leave the house at weekends! Once again I spent it in my jammies, dealing with my eBay sales. I didn't sell much yesterday, so it's nice to have a bit of a break this week if I'm honest.  It looked like a lovely day this morning, so I decided to wear my Prada inspired Primark outfit, complete with adorable vintage cars (and even fluffy dice)!  The skirt is very flattering, it sucks your tummy in and the substantial lining makes everything very 'smooth'.  I actually spotted some tights on the Topshop website with a similar print, so I'm considering buying them too!  And if I ever owned a car it would be a pastel coloured vintage one!

Wearing:  Blue car print pleated skirt and top, pale blue vest worn underneath, black tights and blue bird scarf all Primark, black cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit:  True in length, a little tight across the foot.  5 1/4" heel and 1" platform.
Comfort:  I stretched these a little this morning by wearing them around the house with thick socks, but they are still a little tight across the foot (not uncomfortably so though), surprisingly easy to walk in.
