Last week I shared my third pair of Poker Joker dice heels and today I'm switching it up to non-Irregular Choice. I was really happy to get my hands on these Charlotte Olympia shoes from AW16, a couple of months back.

Day 1141 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Barbie Girl, Charlotte Olympia
Most of you know I'm a big dolly fan, so I was super excited when Charlotte Olympia collaborated with Mattel on this Barbie collection. Given their hefty price-tag (£1145 for this pair!!), it's taken me a while to own any, but earlier this year I managed to find one pair in my size for a very reasonable price. I know some TK Maxx stores are stocking them now too (this wasn't where I got mine), my parents saw them in Manchester and I was a bit worried they'd see the original price and think I'd paid that for them! I also know they've been getting quite a lot of flack in TK Maxx as many think they are hideous. A friend of mine absolutely hates when I wear any of my Blythe or doll themed shoes, as they give her the creeps, so I do get it, but personally this is right up my street and I think they're beautiful.

Day 777 - Stripped To The Waist, We Fall Into The River
Shoes: Black and white stripe 'Greta' Charlotte Olympia
I was seriously in love with this outfit yesterday-it may even be my favourite outfit of the year! Although I'm on ASOS at least once a day, I don't usually pay much attention to the clothes, as a lot of the time, they don't fit. However, I saw the spot version of this dress on a couple of blogs and knew I had to have it. Then when I saw they did it in floral too, I was in heaven! It could quite possibly be my favourite dress. My only gripe would be the neckline isn't particularly flattering on me, but the quality is great, sizing is generous, the shape and fit has a wonderful retro feel and it feels absolutely amazing on. Oh and it has pockets! We all love a dress with pockets! I also ordered the pale blue wallpaper print version, but I'm not sure the white background was doing much for me, so I returned it. The Curve range also has a darker wallpaper print, but I think that would be too big for me, given that the regular 18 fits. I love the bold and colourful blooms, so added pin-dot tights and striped shoes in monochrome to add interest but not detract from the florals. Shame I wasn't going anywhere other than along the street a little bit ; )
Wearing: Floral pencil wiggle dress ASOS, metal bow belt Topshop, spot tights and polka dot coat Primark.
Fit: True to size, 1 1/4" platform and 5 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Weren't too comfortable this time which is unusual.

Day 695 - Why Does Love Always Feel Like A Battlefield?
Shoes: Black and white stripe 'Greta' platforms Charlotte Olympia
So here's my other outfit from last week and unfortunately I've been holed up indoors ever since. We have one more box to go and the shed is empty (thank goodness). I've had to part with many loved items that have either not held up well, being contained in the shed or that I just can't keep because we don't have room. I should really be on one of those hoarder programmes on TV! The local charity shops and recycling centres I don't think will have ever seen this volume of goods, it's been constant trips to both! We have even had to start going to another recycling point, as we filled one skip with (just some of) my old magazines, it's never been emptied for days and will overflow if we add more, oops!
Wearing: Floral dress Dorothy Perkins, black leggings Primark, belt taken from another dress, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan, MAC/Manish Arora eye palette.
Fit: True to size, 1 1/4" platform and 5 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Love these, easy to walk in and comfortable.

Day Four Hundred & Fifty Four - White Stripes
This outfit was from a couple of months ago when I met up with an old friend for some drinky-poos. The dress was new and is currently one of my favourites. I bought it from the Tall range so I could wear it without leggings if I wished (a good little trick for stores that usually have ultra short hemlines), I love the contrast of monochrome stripes with colourful flowers and the shape is so very flattering. Yes, I did also get lots of admiring glances for the shoes...the waitress was actually drooling!
Wearing: Floral striped prom dress New Look, black tights and cardi, G whistle necklace Harajuku Lovers (yes it actually whistles), spike ring ASOS, frog and parrot rings Miss Selfridge.
Fit: True to size, 1 1/4" platform and 5 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Love these, easy to walk in and comfortable.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty Six - Weekend Special
If you pop over to Pink Haired Princess, you can read all about my weekend antics at my friends wedding. I had a fabulous but very tiring time and you can see a little pic of my full outfit over there. I had yet another last minute change to my shoes, but it was definitely the right choice-no sinking in the grass and so comfortable all day. I wore 3 different pairs over the weekend, so I'll start with my 'going away' pair. I'm a little confuzzled about whether or not I have shown you all of my shoes...I think there are still a couple of pairs to see, so after these images I think we need another plan to keep the challenge going. These shoes were a massive hit with my girlfriends (and everyone actually). They were also supposed to be my choice for wearing to the wedding, but tomorrow you'll get to see those (sneak peek on PHP now).

Day Two Hundred & Eighty Two - I Will Be
Next week at this time, I'll be at my friends wedding, so I thought I'd better 'break in' the shoes I'm going to wear, seeing as I haven't worn them before. All this week, I'll be wearing them indoors, but of course still photographing a different pair for you. I'm not totally sorted with my outfit, I need to try it again and check what accessories I need. My Mum is having second thoughts about these shoes, she doesn't think they are 'dressy' enough! However I can't think of another pair of non-stiletto heels (apparently not allowed to wear thin heels inside the venue!) that look good with my dress. To be honest I can't remember half of the shoes I own-I think this blog has messed with my memory! I'll maybe have to check through The Shoe Girl Diaries archives!
