The Shoe Girl Styles It: Topshop Unique Velvet Courts

Something a little different today, so I hope you like it. Topshop launched their latest Unique collection this week to coincide with the beginning of fashion week. I wasn't overly taken with the past few offerings if I'm totally honest, but there's quite a lot in this one that I like, so it's definitely worth checking out. Lots of texture, florals, furs with an all glammed up, aristocratic country vibe! I'll warn you, it's pricey though. I fell for a cute wee skirt, then realised it was £495 or £895 in dress form! Well outside my and I'm sure many budgets.
So these shoes (Topshop Unique low velvet court £125) are actually one of the cheaper pieces. They come in a few different colours, with the lower heels in velvet and higher heel in plain leather. They look pink on my screen, but Topshop say 'red' (sometimes they can be a little vague with their colours), though if I tilt my screen back, they do indeed look more red. No matter as I teamed them with a monochrome look, but like I said, something a little different. I had these items saved individually, but hadn't planned on wearing them together, then when I moved some things around and tried it out, I kinda liked it! I love the Warehouse blouse; the placement of the floral pattern and the little bow at the neck. I had been going with a pencil skirt, but it seemed a little predictable, so I switched it out for trousers. These are a current bargain from Great Plains at BrandAlley. They have a little spot pattern on them, but plain trousers just kinda threw something off. I like the contrast of the two prints. I finished with this fringed bag from Glamorous at Topshop.
