Hello, how are you all? I'm hoping to get two separate lots of TSGSI out this week, but it's only Monday, so we shall see! I really wanted to style these shoes for myself this week actually. I hesitated buying them, because they are white satin shoes and who needs that, other than to get married in? Even then, I can see myself choosing something entirely different. These winged shoes come in various forms; 3 styles with 7 colourways in total. I however, fell for the glitter wings. Yes, it's possible to buy non-sparkly wings, why? I have no idea. In my world, glitter trumps pretty much everything, so that narrowed down my options to two.

Like I said yesterday, these shoes have been very versatile and while I've gone for both tropical and pastel inspired looks previously, today is more traditional Minnie Mouse attire.

Hello, how are you all this evening? Tonight I have the second in my trio of outfits for TSGSI this week. If you've forgotten how this works (I wouldn't blame you, it's been so long since it existed!), then I choose a pair of shoes and style 3 outfits around them. One is high street, one high end and one plus size for variety. I try to choose different styles or colours for each, so there's a bit of a mix. In my last post (high end), I picked a bright, colourful look and today it's high street.

Ah yes, you read that right, TSGSI is back! I never intended to 'stop' it, nor did I expect the unanticipated break to last quite so long. January was my last post and I never finished that trio. I hate that, but I need to learn to be a little easier on myself and less strict about things. I got ill(er), life got in the way, stuff came up, I lost motivation, there, the world didn't end. Actually I even started these sets over a month ago and procrastinated so much (maybe I lost some confidence in my abilities after such a long hiatus), that I had to really force myself to publish this today or I feared I never would. I had a pretty rotten week last week, nothing bad happened, I just lost focus, felt really down about everything and anti-social (hence the lack of social media updates). I get like that sometimes. Probably because I get frustrated about being ill and not being able to do anything about it and although day to day I cope pretty well with that, it does come up to the surface and bubble over occasionally. My life is far from perfect, but it could be a lot worse, so I'm feeling more ready for the week ahead and hoping after this post I'm inspired for blogging this week.  I have missed these posts and I do catch myself thinking "ooh, they'd be good shoes to style or that would go well with...", so I guess it was only natural I would come back to TSGSI.

Hello, how is this week treating you so far? I've been super productive, so long may it continue! Well it actually did, until right now. I have a sold out item in my set (because I made the sets last weekend) and I haven't replaced it. I will provide a couple of alternatives that are available to buy, but I'm battling the tiredness after exerting myself showering today, so there you go! Hello, hope you are all well? I've just gotten over the flu, which floored me this past week or so. I thought I was avoiding it, but everyone seems to have a cold or sick bug just now, so I knew sooner or later, it was inevitable! I took a full week off, which was rather nice to just rest completely (I wasn't able for anything else to be honest), away from social media and everything else and then the past few days, I've been busy with bloggy things, though I haven't published anything in a while. Hello! It's been a while since I've had time for The Shoe Girl Styles It and indeed any blog post really! Such is the way over Christmas and New Year and don't you just hate that inbetweeny period? Like I have no idea what day it is, what time it is, what I should be doing...! I'm one of those people that once Christmas day itself is over, is keen to get back into my regular daily routine and eat normal food again too! Anyway here we go styling these shoes. If you are new to TSGSI or have forgotten the routine in it's absence, then I pick a pair of shoes and make 3 outfits throughout the week for them. One is high street, one is high end and the other is plus size. I usually try and mix up the looks to give as much inspo as possible. So today, I have my plus size outfit for you.

I've been getting really into my K-dramas this year and just have one episode of this to go, but I feel like I was inadvertently inspired by Gong Shim for this look. She would totally wear something this style.
