Day 825 - Walk Away Until You're Not Standing At My Door

Shoes: Black panda 'Endangered' Irregular Choice

Hola! How are you all today? I thought I'd wear my lovely panda wedges today after being reminded of them a couple of days ago. I'm generally getting a bit frustrated clothes and shoes wise as I have sooo much of both but find myself wearing the same things. Mostly it's down to those items being the most accessible and I really don't have the will to move 50 shoe boxes out of the way to allocate one pair! Today I changed my outfit after my Mum texted to say "it's freezing outside" and I actually felt more comfortable in this dress, leggings and boots. And I was cosy, thanks Mum!

Wearing: Moon & star dress H By Henry Holland, black leggings and coat Primark, socks Kurt Geiger.
Fit: Relatively snug fit with high instep so I took a larger size. Heel 5 1/2" with 1 3/4" platform.
Comfort: No problems with these and pretty easy to walk in.

Day 824 - Goodbye Is Kinda Hard, It's Not A Thing I Like To Do

Shoes: Hessian 'Can't Touch This' Irregular Choice

For some reason I woke up early this morning, so I got organised quicker than usual instead of these late night posts I keep doing.  I got hooked on 'Most Haunted' yesterday lunch-time and it was 'to be continued' today, so I was rather looking forward to scaring myself during lunch, as you do.  I'm really into the supernatural, ghosts and the after-life etc, so it was very interesting.  It's quite difficult to watch it happening to someone else though, you never know quite what to believe and what is being staged for the cameras.  They were aboard the Queen Mary (the whole thing took place over a 3 week period) and there was a lot of freaky things going on and rather disturbing stories of death on the ship. Today featured the old swimming pool area (which would scare anyone during daylight never mind at night) and they actually found wet footprints leading out from the pool and saw a woman (who had drowned) sitting at the edge, it was fabulous!  I like to scare myself just a little!  I've had one experience using the Ouija board which was so accurate it was pretty scary and I've also had my tarot read a couple of times, which probably wasn't as accurate (or perhaps I just chose a different path).  It's something that I'm really intrigued by and would like to get into again, have you got any scary tales of the supernatural for me?

Wearing:  Pansy 'Betty' dress and wine belt Swan by Clements Ribeiro, grey tights and coat Primark.
Fit: True to size, adjustable buckle, 4" perspex heel.
Comfort:  Difficult to buckle up but no other issues.

Day 823 - The Women In The Two Black Veils Didn’t Bother To Cry

Shoes: Cream patterned 'Trixxie' Irregular Choice

I got the hiccups today, those entire-body convulsing (sore) ones, every so often. My sister thought it was hilarious. Considering she usually gets them and I make her do this, she egged me on to try drinking a glass of water the wrong way. Her words were "pleeeeease do it, it'll be funny"! This was after she told me something about biting down on a stick in your mouth, to which I looked extremely puzzled and she grabbed my eyeshadow brush and told me to put that in my mouth! So down we trot to the kitchen after the eyeshadow brush method failed and you should note I'd just finished my makeup at this point (bad idea).  Her face was in my face the entire time, as she didn't want to "miss" anything funny! I ended up crying with tears of laughter, hiccuped mid drink and laughed at the same time, spurting water out all over the window (turns out I can spit quite far!) and with water dribbling down my chin, tears on my cheeks, eyeliner and mascara smudged, completely unable to speak or breathe from laughter, I decided enough was enough. The hiccups had actually gone by this point, but we'd been laughing so much we hadn't noticed. I can confirm drinking from a glass the wrong way does cure hiccups, even if it's by laughter rather than the method itself!

Wearing: Red floral, lace collar dress H By Henry Holland, leggings Primark, cardigan Bonmarche, horse scarf White Stuff.
Fit: I bought these a size larger but they run pretty true to size. 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: I tried them with an insole this time as they are a little large.  They can be quite tricky to walk in because they 'clomp' and you have to walk flat-footed as they are not flexible in any way, which means the process of walking is a bit dis-jointed and difficult.

Day 822 - Every Tear Soaked Whiskey Memory Blown Away

Shoes: Pink metallic 'Cheeky Charm' Irregular Choice

I'm so impressed with myself for managing to write up both this post and my Monster High Monday makeup on Pink Haired Princess (yes there actually is a reason behind the heart shaped lips today), I've rarely completed both in one day. I've also almost finished another PHP post which took most of the morning, although I'm still a day behind on TSGD. I'll just leave yesterdays post until I can finish it and you'll get todays one today, so as not to confuse things!  It was a lovely day and I didn't need a coat, so got to wear my (slightly) dipped hem dress which looks stupid with one. I also got to wear sunglasses again and just realised I've forgotten to show you them, the couple of days I've worn them this year. It's not like you haven't seen them before...today was my lovely Irregular Choice pair which I'm still as head over heels about as I was last summer.

Wearing: Floral dip hem dress H By Henry Holland, black cardigan Primark, Mischief sunglasses Irregular Choice, flower hair comb Yama Yama Pretty Mama.
Fit: If anything they run a little large, inside zip, 3 3/4" perspex heel.
Comfort: They do feature the 'flat toe' that many IC's have which can crush the top of your toes.

Day 821 - She's Probably Up Singing Some White-Trash Version Of Shania Karaoke

Shoes: 'Gypsy Girl Rose' Dan Sullivan

I'm running a day behind, but have a migraine from hell, so am stopping all 'computing' for tonight after this and going to watch the next episode of Person Of Interest instead.  Am I the only one that watches it?  Took me a couple of weeks to get really into it, but I'm enjoying it now.  I was just thinking what a fun wardrobe I've had this week with Barbie, knitted sweets, now knitted cats and an adorable dolly print.  You know I don't need much encouragement when it comes to the H by Henry Holland range at Debenhams, I buy a lot of stock each season!  Last week when I was shopping, I was making a mental wish list of the HH things I'd like next time Deb's were running a  promotion; then when I looked online and saw this dress which I hadn't seen instore, it took all my willpower not to buy it there and then!  A few days ago, I was buying some MAC things and took a look at the clothes and they had 'up to 30% off' (20% on most of the HH stuff I looked at), so I ordered it.  I wanted loads more including two gorgeous t-shirts, but am waiting until the next promotion.  This dress, I just couldn't pass up, the print is the cheeriest, prettiest one I've seen in a while and I know it'll go with loads and I'll wear it loads.  One thing to note though is the colour isn't black-black like it looks online, it's more a deep charcoal grey (which I'm quite happy with).  You know I like something a lot when I take it out the packet and put it on straight away!

Wearing:  Cartoon girl dress H by Henry Holland, suede leggings, cardigan and coat Primark.
Fit: True to size, lace-up, 5 3/4" heel and 2" platform.
Comfort: The cat is quite heavy and is only attached at the top, so there is a lot of movement when walking. I tried to capture it on camera, but didn't.  This could annoy people-it annoyed me slightly, although at least when it belted off my ankles, I knew it was still attached!  I might have to figure out a way to stick them to the boot, so they are more 'wearable'.  Otherwise no issues.
