Day 1073 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Iron Fist Share Bear Platforms

Hello, Shoesday Tuesday on...Wednesday!! I am so tired right now that I can't keep my eyes open-I keep falling asleep during the day, which isn't normal for me. I feel like someone has just drained me and I'm struggling to find the motivation to blog, when it's hard enough keeping my eyes open, y'know? I was really excited about these shoes though, so wanted to blog about them (especially as they are back in stock), even if it is a day late.

Day 1035 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes:  Lollipop Lorelei court Iron Fist

These shoes were on my list of ones you hadn't seen already and though I have photos in a folder somewhere that I took at the time, I actually wore them for real (yep, outside the house), so you're getting a whole outfit instead. They were taken a couple of months ago when I was going for blood tests, not something I'm particularly fond of. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but actually the more I get, the worse I am! In the beginning, it never bothered me. I've become so accustomed to my doctor doing it now, that I fret if I don't know who's doing it and whether they are any good!  Plus I like that he 'springs' it on me, so I don't have time to worry.  It's been said more than once that I have 'no veins' so then they have to stick me more than once and that's the part I dislike. This time I was going to the phlebotomy department with a "random" but she totally put me at ease.  She said before she could take blood, she had to talk about my wonderful shoes (the "take your mind off it" trick, my childhood doctor used to deploy). At 5 or 35, talking about mermaids and shoes is very much the way to calm me! I'm making it sound like I totally freak out, I don't (outwardly), it's just not something I look forward to...but then would anyone? Anyway, she was very nice and pulled the tourniquet so tight that she got a vein right away and said that's the reason I've had so much trouble before (because nurses are afraid of hurting me),  FYI that part, I don't mind, "tighten away"!

Ooh something different for you this week, a wee guest appearance from my little sister with her adorable new trainers. They were really just too cute to keep to ourselves.

Day Four Hundred & Fifty Seven - Leopard Love

Shoes: Leopard print peep toe 'Love Bites' ankle boots Iron Fist

Wowee, isn't this weather horrid? It's been lashing rain all weekend, so I've been huddled up indoors. There's been a real drop in the temperature too, do you think this is autumn now? Eek, sounds terrible saying that in August but we did get good weather in early April, so I'm already getting into the winter mindset...gloves and scarves, hot tea, knee high boots and Christmas, here I come! I'm selling these shoes later this evening on eBay-I bought them the other week and they only had a size 6 and right enough they were slightly too big for me, so up for sale they went. It's my first pair of Iron Fist; I've always quite liked their unusual colours and fabrics though. These are horse-hair type material in leopard print with a peep toe and large contrasting polka dot bow, which made them unusual enough for me to purchase! I love the little skull charm that dangles from the bow and it is detachable if you aren't that keen on the contrast.

Wearing: No outfit post today.
Fit: True to size, 4 1/4" heel and 1" platform, inside zip and front lacing.
Comfort: Can't really comment seeing as I haven't worn them anywhere but they don't appear to have any issues.
