Day Four Hundred & Thirty Two - It's All In The Details

Shoes: Gold block heel court shoes River Island

I was 'home alone' today and expecting a ton of deliveries so couldn't really leave the house until I was certain no more parcels would come! It meant I got out for my walk at half 6! I'll maybe be more organised tomorrow and get out early although I'm still waiting for lots of new pairs of shoes so maybe not! Speaking of, these are a new pair I got a few weeks back, never before seen on the blog.

Wearing: Shell print, frill sundress, black leggings, cardi and sunglasses all Primark.
Fit: Run small, need a size up. 5 1/4" heel and 1 1/4" concealed platform. The platform is the reason for the strange fit-they take up so much depth inside the shoe there's no room left for your foot.
Comfort: the bigger size is definitely a better fit (I couldn't even get my foot in the smaller pair), but they weren't the easiest to walk in if I'm totally honest. The shoe is very heavy so I felt it slipping off my heel which in turn made me walk funny. My toes however were still quite crushed (not uncomfortably so) and I felt a bit like I was 'clonking' along!

Day Four Hundred & Thirty One - Run!

Shoes: Pink leopard 'Cortesan' Irregular Choice

I didn't think I'd get out today, we had a lot of heavy showers. However it brightened up later on, so I got dressed, chucked on some lipstick and sunglasses as quick as I could and went out before the rain started again! My sister laughed at me in my new sunglasses-don't think that's a good thing, she thought I resembled Lady Gaga...that's not necessarily bad though is it? Heehee!

Wearing: Black leggings, cardi, sunglasses and taupe pearls Primark, babydoll dress ASOS Curve (hangs beautifully).
Fit: Run small, just under 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Crushed toes and after a while I think they'll give you blisters because they are small made. Easy enough to walk in.

Day Four Hundred & Thirty - Pretty Polly

Shoes: Purple 'Linky' platforms Faith

I bravely reenacted my Wednesday night outfit today. As I mentioned yesterday on Pink Haired Princess, I've kinda been in the wars lately. My ankles are just one big mess of cuts and grazes! I really don't want to blame these shoes because I totally heart them, I think the combination of wearing them bare legged and in the heat means they've just rubbed in all the wrong places. I have to say though that they are otherwise incredibly comfy (no aching underfoot, good arch support etc) and easy to walk in, so maybe once they've been broken in a bit more they won't cause problems?

Wearing: Parrot maxi dress G21 at Asda (hoicked up for pics), bow cardi New Look, shell bag River Island and an assortment of rings and Anna Lou necklace which I didn't haul out for the pics today.

Fit: True to size and such easy to use buckles! Just over 5" heel and 1" platform.

Comfort: Buckle rubbed on the ankle and shoe rubbed up the leg, above the heel at the back. Easy to walk in though.

Day Four Hundred & Twenty Nine - CherryTastic

Shoes: Beige Lady Dragon Cherries Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and Melissa

Quick post because I've been busy today...whipped out the Cherries seeing as this gorgeous weather has continued!

Wearing: Navy polka dot dress with peter pan collar F&F at Tesco, navy leggings Primark, navy boat cardigan Peacocks, shell bag (not shown) and gold sparkling snake ring River Island, pearl, seashell bracelet and starfish ring Primark, green and blue enamel bow brooch vintage.
Fit: True to size, 4 1/4" heel, adjustable slingback.
Comfort: Very comfy

Day Four Hundred & Twenty Eight - Tickle Your Fancy

Shoes: Turquoise 'Tickling Loris' Irregular Choice

After all my moaning, I sat glued to the Royal wedding yesterday! Then Mum and I popped through to Debenhams in the afternoon and I'm absolutely shattered from it. So today has been a lazy day for me! These shoes (are absolutely adorable and) look a lot darker in person and more green, but they always come out lighter turquoise in photos. Loads of people stopped in the street to stare at my feet (and hair) which is always quite funny!

Wearing: Scenic print dress New Look, black leggings and cardi and snake bangle Primark, shell bag (not shown) River Island, unicorn cameo ring Topshop, long pearls and unicorn ring Miss Selfridge.
Fit: Same issue as the day before, true in length but tight across the foot, glad I opted for the size up. Heel almost 4".
Comfort: Aside from the top digging in a little they gave me no problems and are easy to walk in.
