Day 1193 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing bright blue shoes with ankle cuff and rainbow winged heel with seahorse striped tights
Shoes: Dreamscape | Irregular Choice

Big post today, lots to get through, because after 5 months of not buying any new season Irregular Choice, I finally have a brand new style! These launched last Friday, with a completely new concept heel and wow, just wow! One style (Bouquet Belle) were exclusive to IC, then Bouquet Beauty and these, Dreamscape, came in 2 colours each. There was also a bag, which I'm getting for my birthday, it's sooo cute. I expected a bigger collection or selection of items to be honest. I was hoping for tights and some other accessories, though these tights look great with them. First, let's talk about sizing as it was a big worry for me buying online.

Day 1115 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing irregular choice eros white satin wing shoes
Shoes:  Irregular Choice Eros

Narrowing down the pictures for Shoesday was rather difficult this week, they all looked fantastic. I've picked a selection anyway, so you can see every angle. It's a very wingy week for you this week as I'm styling these on The Shoe Girl Styles It as well as wearing them here.  I knew if I got them in my hands, I could make them work.  Like I said in my TSGSI post, white shoes and especially those made of satin aren't exactly typical everyday wear, but I absolutely love the contrast here with the black fishnets.  It was exactly what they needed to escape the bridal zone.

Day 1042 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: True Love flashing heart heels Irregular Choice

I needed some time to recover this weekend, after a busy few days last week, with the arrival of these shoes.  I managed a detailed blog post on Pink Haired Princess, a video of them flashing (yes, the heels actually light-up when you walk) and then this post.  I like to forget I'm not actually able for all this (!), however my body has no such issues reminding me and the message was loud and clear this weekend (and still now)!  Sore, aching body and tiredness aside, I do love when there's an exciting launch like this to occupy my time and give me something to focus on (the other 'big activity' was wiping the hard drive of my old PC, which was mind numbingly boring).

Day 761 - If I Could Only See This Night As Another Day

Shoes: Black 'Wing Invador' Irregular Choice

Hello, was dry today so I actually got outside!  Not saying it will be tomorrow though ; )  I just got this dress last week, it's super short (!) so leggings only for me and I thought these shoes would look great with it, as they've got similar colours to the stars and moons on the dress.  I had to add little nude fishnet socks underneath before going out though, because you know when your toes scrunch up in a shoe and you can't get them straight?  These shoes always do this with bare feet, but the socks sorted it out.  Not entirely convinced I suit the high neckline on this dress, but I love that it's velvet.  I've actually got three more HH dresses that I bought (fast taking over from Pearl Lowe to become the biggest brand in my wardrobe) that I can't wait to wear!  Oh and lipstick if anyone asks is MAC Viva Glam Nicki with my lipstick of the week by Lancome, yes the combo's really so bright that the colour 'bleeds' in photos!

Wearing: Star and moon print dress H by Henry Holland, black leggings and spotty coat Primark, cardigan Bonmarche, tan belt taken from another dress.
Fit: True to size, a little tight across my foot. Just over 4" heel.
Comfort: My arches ached a little, this was my first time wearing them, otherwise ok.

Day 641 - Our Lives Are Better Left To Chance

Shoes: Black 'Wing Invador' Irregular Choice

I don't know where the time went to yesterday, hence the late post.  Today I went shopping though, so won't have time for that post as well.  Do you ever find your toes curl under when putting on shoes?  This was the issue I had with these yesterday.  Sometimes you can wriggle them free, but it's particularly annoying when you're not wearing tights and difficult to fix because you can get your hand inside the shoe at the same time as your feet obviously!  It's a pity someone hasn't invented some sort of shoe-horn gadget for the toes!  Anyway, lovely shoes, quite roomy actually in the toe in comparison to the older 'cortesan' shape, but the vamp does cut across a particularly fleshy part of the foot and can be a little tight.  No major probs with them though.

Wearing: Red floral, cream collar dress H by Henry Holland, black leggings Primark, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit: True to size, a little tight across my foot. Just over 4" heel.
Comfort: My arches ached a little, this was my first time wearing them, otherwise ok.

Day 525 - Back For Good

Shoes: Black 'Wing Invador' Irregular Choice

See Pink Haired Princess for details of my missing week! Sorry about that, but it couldn't be helped. So now I have no idea when this outfit was from, I think it could have been Monday. It's been a lot milder lately so I'm back out of ankle boots and long sleeves and even braved bare feet this day! As I mentioned the first time I posted these shoes, the wings you would think would be the main feature of this shoe. However in this pic, you wouldn't even know they were there, very discreet and the face takes centre stage.

Wearing: Black floral dress, black leggings, waterfall cardigan and zebra print scarf all Primark, grey ribbon belt River Island.
Fit: True to size, although a little tight across my foot. Just over 4" heel.
Comfort: Not much support or padding under the foot but otherwise ok.

Day 520 - A Wing And A Prayer

Shoes: Grey suede winged 'Kata' heels by J-Lo Footwear

Hello peeps! I've been busy editing some videos today for my YouTube channel. I made the decision not to leave the house and just get on with it in peace (nobody was here). I didn't have time to post this from yesterday though, so here it is. Usually I have a pair of shoes or part of my outfit that I really want to wear and build the rest of the outfit from there. Yesterday I stood for 20 minutes without a damn clue what to wear! Nothing was pulling me one way or the other, so I just kinda picked random things that hadn't been worn for a while.

Wearing: Polka-dot peter pan collar dress Dorthy Perkins, black tights, cardigan and scarf all Primark.
Fit: 4 1/2" heel, these are a US8, I had to take a bigger size as the cuff was too tight and wouldn't zip comfortably on the 7.
Comfort: I don't have any issues with these.

Day 484 - Irregular Choice Special #11

Shoes: Black 'Wing Invador' Irregular Choice

I had the dentist today, really not one of my favourite things nor anyone else's I would imagine! It was just a check-up, however I have to go back to get one of my fillings seen to. Turns out she had a cancellation tomorrow and could take me then, eugh, twice in one week! I suppose it stops me fretting about things, just gets it over and done with. For so long, I never understood why anyone hated the dentist, that was before I had any work done and heard that God awful drilling noise! Gone are the days when my sisters and I used to plan the order we'd sit in the chair, so we all got a fair ride! I'm sure these shoes don't really need any explanation, they are completely bonkers and so cool! The toe really turns up at the front with it's angry little mouth-the wings aren't as prominent as I expected, they are almost flush with the shoe, so you don't really notice them, which is a pity (I had to catch the wing with my other leg for the photo above). They do however match absolutely perfectly with this dress, every colour in the shoe is in the dress too-amazing!

Wearing: Floral prom dress New Look, black cardigan, chunky pearls and coral flower ring Primark, black tights, parakeet ring Miss Selfridge.
Fit: True to size, a little tight across my foot. Just over 4" heel.
Comfort: My arches ached a little, this was my first time wearing them, otherwise ok.
