Day Four Hundred & Twenty Two - Orange & Lime

Shoes: Green 'Fish Out Of Water' Irregular Choice

Yipee peeps, I'm all caught up on posts! I was completely stuck with what to wear today, usually something jumps out at me but nothing today, not even shoes! I then decided on this dress that I've never worn yet, which as you can see from the image below is mainly orange flowers, but with a bright lime splash. I really wanted to find some lime green shoes to pick this colour out, but don't think I own any, this was the closest I got. Yet again I'm stuck for shoes-what's going on?

Wearing: Orange floral dress F&F at Tesco, black leggings Primark, bow cardigan New Look.

Fit: A strange fit on split toes, I take a size up otherwise it's excruciatingly uncomfortable between the toes, although sometimes the heel slips off on these because they are too big. Heel 4", slip on.

Comfort: Not the comfiest but not the most uncomfortable-the toe split is the issue.

I'm Back...

Whoop, whoop! Just installed Google Chrome as I found out Internet Explorer 9 doesn't seem to work with Blogger (you can write posts until your heart's content but can't publish them for anyone to see)!! However now as you can see I can publish and it's sorted that spacing issue that's been going on for the last month, it's super quick too (I've just edited all of the past months posts in a minute)! My only issue is whether to use GC purely for blogging (and IE9 for everything else) or move all my favourites over to this and use it for everything...we'll see.

Day Four Hundred & Twenty One - Just Jump

Shoes: Taupe 'Grable' platforms Miss L Fire

I wore one of my new jumpsuits yesterday...if I'm honest it felt strange! I'm so used to wearing a dress and trousers just felt kinda weird. I was a little self conscious in them which wasn't helped by a couple of adults and their kid staring at me all the way along the road, then laughing! Perhaps they thought I left the house in my pyjamas? I took the corsage off the waist and pinned it to the chest and wore this tan belt (the waist is a little higher on these than I'd like) and I do love the pockets on it-just need to get used to the rest! I could not for the life of me find a pair of shoes to match though-I was going crazy! This pair are too heavy and wintery for my liking, although the colours worked well. I just couldn't find high platforms or wedges with an open toe in the right colours. As I always say, you can never have too many shoes!

Wearing: Floral jumpsuit 'Be Beau' at Matalan, belt (off a dress) New Look, pearl cardigan (not shown) Dorothy Perkins.

Fit: True to size, heel 4 5/8" platform 1 1/2", adjustable buckle on strap.

Comfort: Not entirely comfortable, there's a lump inside that was bothering me! Easy to walk in though.

Day Four Hundred & Twenty - Cutie Pie

Shoes: Turquoise floral 'Simple Minds' platforms Office

Here's Monday's shoes which I thought I'd try out with ankle socks. Probably too cutesy for someone about to turn 31 next month, but who cares! Hell, if it's good enough for Rihanna right? I've just upgraded to Internet Explorer 9 today and it's taking me a little while to get used to everything, plus it doesn't seem to be letting me publish posts I've edited, so here's hoping this one works. That spacing issue was still there yesterday but I'm wondering if it's been fixed and that too is causing issues or if it's the new internet. Anyway, hopefully I'll get yesterdays shoes posted, then I'm all caught up! *nope, it's not letting me post*

Wearing: Pastel floral button through dress, vest top, sunglasses, black leggings and coat all Primark, cream ankle socks H&M.
Fit: True to size (mine are a size larger purely because it was all I could get my hands on). 6" heel and 1 1/2" platform, crossover straps with adjustable buckle.
Comfort: These were much comfier with the socks-I suspected they might make the shoe slippy inside, but the extra bulk actually helped the sizing issue.

Day Four Hundred & Nineteen - Walking High

Shoes: Navy 'Perine' spike platforms River Island

Oh it seems to be taking forever to sort through all these pics-think I'm taking too many, then I have a hard time whittling them down! So this was...Sunday's outfit. I've been buying quite a lot of blue-ish dresses lately which allows me to get more use out of my navy and blue shoes. You haven't seen this pair before, but may recall me blogging about them on Pink Haired Princess. I wanted them desperately, those spikes are fierce!

Wearing: Navy boat cardigan Peacocks, blue twill floral dress F&F at Tesco, navy leggings Primark, belt (taken from another dress) New Look, sunglasses ASOS.
Fit: Run quite large, back zip opening. Heel 5 1/2", platform 1 3/4"
Comfort: Massive grip sole so there's no fear of falling over, however I was terrified the heel was going to snap off (I'd heard this had happened to someone)-it wasn't wobbling, but it didn't feel entirely secure! Other than that, the zip may rub at the heel over time.
