Day 1225 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing Irregular Choice Elephunk green shoes
Shoes: Green Elephunk | Irregular Choice

A very old style for you today, I can't believe I've never reviewed these yet.  After pining after them for years in the grey and never finding them in the right size and condition, I eventually found the purple pair.  Then quickly after that the grey, then these popped up later and in the end I have all 3 colours they came in.  The other two are in the size up (39/6), which I found (from past experience) I needed in the split toe styles, but actually these are fine too, so there must not be much between them.

Day 868 - I Won't Be Held Down By Who I Used To Be

Shoes: Teal 'Graphic Geek' Irregular Choice

I'd hauled this dress out for wearing the other day and instead got stuck into rearranging my shoe storage and never got dressed! One pair of shoes I rescued that day were these little shoe-boots. I suppose they are quite suited to this strange weather we're experiencing now. I don't think I've ever shown you a side view of them despite the number of times I've worn them, so that's why I chose the above image.  One of the downsides of living in a coastal/seaside town is the wind. I wasn't expecting it today, but it was rather blustery along with beautiful skies and bright sunshine. There were also torrential downpours and even a short hail shower. How can you ever really dress appropriately for all weathers? I felt suitably dressed regardless with a gorgeous bright print but layers (actually the dress was highly indecent sans cami top, so that was the reason for that). I'm all organised for another colourful Monster High Monday tomorrow...just trying to figure out what to wear with such colours!

Wearing: Hula Hawaiian frilled dress H By Henry Holland, black leggings Primark, cardigan Bonmarche, pink belt Dorothy Perkins, flower hair clips Debenhams, flower comb Yama Yama Pretty Mama.
Fit: I always size up on split-toe styles. Heel just under 4".
Comfort: No issues with these once your toes are comfortable in the right position.

Day 841 - I Could Feel Myself Growing Colder

Shoes: Green split toe 'Fish Out Of Water' Irregular Choice

I've had this dress for a few weeks now, but it's rather tight across the bosoms so I've been a little reluctant to wear it! They had it in a red print too, which I preferred but they didn't have anything close to my size. I spied these shoes today and after a quick look through my wardrobe, this dress seemed right to wear with them. I've been sooo tired today, to the point my eyes keep shutting! I need to stay awake though because it's The Big Reunion and Nashville on TV tonight, my favourite telly night ; )

Wearing: Floral dress, suede leggings and spotty coat Primark, cardigan Bonmarche, gingham horse bow Yama Yama Pretty Mama.
Fit: A strange fit on split toes, I take a size up otherwise it's excruciatingly uncomfortable between the toes, although sometimes the heel slips off on these because they are too big. Heel 4", slip on.
Comfort: Sometimes the split toe section can rub.

Day 668 - All I Wanna See Is A Sky Full Of Lighters

Shoes: Green 'Fish Out Of Water' Irregular Choice

Another day when an outfit just came together without much thought.  I haven't worn this dress or the shoes for a while.  I couldn't take my usual full-length photo because we had workmen in the bathroom and I didn't want to pose and snap away with them seeing every move, a few feet away! They're coming back tomorrow, but I'll hopefully take my pics before they get here!

Wearing:  Floral dress, cardigan and leggings Primark, sunglasses ASOS, floral scarf M&Co.
Fit: A strange fit on split toes, I take a size up otherwise it's excruciatingly uncomfortable between the toes, although sometimes the heel slips off on these because they are too big. Heel 4", slip on.
Comfort: Not the comfiest but not the most uncomfortable-the toe split is the issue.

Day 519 - Totally Turquoise

Shoes: Teal 'Graphic Geek' Irregular Choice

This was a bit of a lazy outfit, but one that worked really well. I spotted these shoes sitting on the floor (still waiting to go back into their box after their last outing) and this dress was hanging on the wardrobe door right above it and the colour match was absolutely spot-on perfect. Although I tend to be reasonably well colour coordinated, I'm never quite matchy-matchy to this degree with my eyeshadow and hair tying in too, but it was a nice, simple outfit that's very comfortable to wear and both pieces are likely to be worn lots throughout autumn/winter.

Wearing: Teal lace dress Chloe Madeley for George at Asda, black leggings and horse print scarf Primark, leopard belt Dorothy Perkins.
Fit: I always size up on split-toe styles. Heel just under 4".
Comfort: No issues with these once your toes are comfortable in the right position.

Day 500 - Irregular Choice Special #27

Shoes: Teal suede 'Graphic Geek' Irregular Choice

Wowee, I didn't realise it was Day 500 today or else I would've celebrated with a super special pair of shoes! I'm getting the hang of using my phone to take photos, even managed a couple of face pics today. I haven't worn this dress for at least a year because it's usually rather tight, but as I've lost some weight recently, it feels much more comfortable. Hands up who loves that adorable cat print!

Wearing: Cat print shift dress Limited Edition at New Look (old), black leggings, cardigan and scarf Primark.
Fit: I always size up on split toe styles and it usually takes a few attempts to get your toes all comfortable and in the right position. Heel just under 4".
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day Four Hundred & Twenty Two - Orange & Lime

Shoes: Green 'Fish Out Of Water' Irregular Choice

Yipee peeps, I'm all caught up on posts! I was completely stuck with what to wear today, usually something jumps out at me but nothing today, not even shoes! I then decided on this dress that I've never worn yet, which as you can see from the image below is mainly orange flowers, but with a bright lime splash. I really wanted to find some lime green shoes to pick this colour out, but don't think I own any, this was the closest I got. Yet again I'm stuck for shoes-what's going on?

Wearing: Orange floral dress F&F at Tesco, black leggings Primark, bow cardigan New Look.

Day Three Hundred - Big Fish, Little Fish

Shoes: Green 'Fish Out Of Water' split toe heels Irregular Choice

Been shopping today and bought the most adorable little dress for my friends little girl-such a treat to shop for girls. Unfortunately I didn't have as much choice for clothing for myself-not that I need anything in all honesty! I did go super crazy in Primark with their cute animal themed jewellery though-get yourself down there pronto!
Wearing: Another Pearl Lowe for Peacocks dress-sorry about the crappy photo, it's so dark today (I was very disappointed with this dress because I bought it for £40, only wore it once then it was reduced to £20, then a couple of days later to £10!!-tres annoying). Anyway, teamed it with surprise, surprise black leggings and a little black cardi. Also wore my tiger ring from Primark, bug ring from Topshop and animal station chain from ASOS.
Fit: 4" heel and I find I have to go up one size in split toe styles. They are slightly roomy in length, but I need the bigger size for where the toe splits.
Comfort: The only part that bothers me is the toe section, it can rub or feel a little awkward after a while.

Day One Hundred & Seventy Five - Geek!

I love this sumptuous, bright teal shade. I have to go up a full size in split toes from IC and these just fit perfectly. I considered selling them recently because they are a perhaps more subdued style in amongst my zany pairs, but when I tried them on, I couldn't do it-I'm hopeless!
