Day 787 - It's About Time That We Turned Out The Lights

Shoes: Indigo ankle boot 'Blunt' Feud

Happy New Year...almost! I managed to get dressed and go out for some fresh air today, long overdue (been an entire week since I left the house)! It was pretty darn chilly, but at least it was dry. I'm not doing anything special for New Year, so have been busy blogging tonight, which has been quite good fun actually! I hope you all have a fab Hogmanay and wish you health, happiness and pretty shoes for 2013!

Wearing: Frida dress Swan by Clements Ribeiro, black leggings and hat Primark, black cardigan Bonmarche.
Fit: Concealed platform 1 1/4", heel 5 1/4". True to size, slip on.
Comfort: Boy were these comfy today, a really nice heel height too.

Day 618 - I'm Superman With The Wind At His Back

Shoes: Turquoise striped 'Beetroot' Feud

Another gorgeous day and I always feel so summery in this dress, the colours in it are just beautiful. I've so far worn it with pink metallic sandals and bright purple shoes (I'm sure there's another outfit, but I can't quite recall it), so this time I thought I would pick out the green/turquoise colour with these gorgeous Feud heart shaped peep toes.  There's lots of lovely details in these shoes, so I took some extra pics for you to see, I love the carved heel.

Wearing: Floral prom dress Red Herring (Debenhams), leggings Primark, bow cardigan New Look, bow belt (taken from old dress).
Fit: Concealed platform 1 1/4", heel 5 1/4", feel a little small.
Comfort: Not the comfiest, the slingback was digging in on one foot, other than that they were fine.

Day 542 - To Be Blunt

Shoes: Indigo ankle boot 'Blunt' Feud

I tried to capture the wonderful heel on these boots today as you don't usually get to see that when I photograph them. I was nearly killed by a shoe box avalanche earlier-how many times has that happened to me now? I'd already fixed a clothes one; when I opened a cupboard and they all fell out on my head. I was reaching up to get these boots on top of my wardrobe and thought I could just wiggle the bottom box out, the three on top had other ideas and came crashing down all around me and although I saw it coming, I didn't have enough hands to stop it. I desperately need more room to store my shoes, as I'm permanently juggling them to gain a little space. The two large boxes of Irregular Choice boots I bought last week and my JC Night Walk have no home currently and every day I'm moving them to get into my wardrobe and take these pics, grrr. One day I'll have my own walk-in shoe room, one day...

Wearing: Dotty dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, zebra scarf in hair, black cardigan and leggings all Primark, belt ?
Fit: Concealed platform 1 1/4", heel 5 1/4". True to size, slip on.
Comfort: Boy were these comfy today, a really nice heel height too.

Day Three Hundred & Sixty Five - Front Facing

Shoes: Indigo 'Blunt' ankle boot Feud

I was really undecided with which pic to use today, there were a couple of contenders. Last time you got to see the cool, carved heel, so I thought I'd show a different perspective this time. I went to Primark (walking) in search of 'the beach dress' today; the balls of my feet are absolutely aching now! I've never worn these boots outside before, so probably should've thought about that before trying them today! No luck with finding the dress either.

Wearing: This is like my new go-to comfy dress, by Ruby Rocks, worn with black leggings, my horse print coat, black hat, scarf etc. Swallow clutch bag River Island, stag ring (part of set) H&M, bird double ring Primark, metal bow belt Topshop.
Fit: Concealed platform 1 1/4", heel 5 1/4". True to size, slip on.
Comfort: I don't know if it was the shoes or me being not used to walking, but it's really the balls of my feet that are throbbing, no problems anywhere else and easy enough to walk in.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty Four - Stars And Stripes

I've changed my mind about the shoes I'm wearing to my friends wedding this weekend. I really wanted to wear my Charlotte Olympia Greta platforms, but now I'm leaning more towards my Irregular Choice Kitty Princess. It's really difficult to find 'dressy' shoes that aren't stiletto heeled and I tend to not feel very dressed up in chunky heels. Oh, I don't know! There will be no posts from Friday until Sunday, but on Monday there will be lots of photos of the shoes I did wear over the weekend. I actually only have 3 more pairs of shoes to show you that I haven't blogged here...sad I know! Beautiful slingbacks today, heart peep toe, gorgeous oversized bow, stripes and a carved heel all in one shoe! Feud shoes are really made well which I appreciate-very pretty.

Day Two Hundred & Sixty Two - Be Blunt

A changeable day today-I had wanted to get out for a bit, but we keep getting really heavy showers on and off. It's given me a chance to get on with things around the house though and keep busy. Now did I manage to snag these beautiful boots for £22 the other week? Indeed I did and the same pair are selling for £150 on Amazon! Bargainista! I just happened to be lucky and was sifting through the ASOS outlet section and spotted an extremely massive bargain and purchased them immediately. Luckily I did, because the boots quickly sold out in all sizes. I was going to buy the Tremour ankle boot too (it was in stock in my size in 2 colours), but for once I decided one purchase was more than enough or I could buy them later. They sold out too, but I'm not too bothered. I'll post more pics of these beauties on Pink Haired Princess later today.
