Hi, I'm here and so sorry I've missed so many posts. I had my booster at the weekend and while everything was fine, just the getting ready, wearing makeup and being out for an hour has left me completely shattered as I'm not accustomed to it. I'm absolutely exhausted and sleeping a lot. I've been feeling completely overwhelmed at the thought of editing photos and writing again, which wasn't an issue a week or so ago, it's amazing how quickly you lose that, it all felt too much. However, I'm giving it a crack today and I guess, I'll just have to do what I can. My last post here was the angelic Eros and today, I'm back at traditional Christmas and where it all started for festive character heels.

Dreamy launched in 2013 and a select few of us were allowed early access to buy these in September, before their formal launch later that year. I said yes, without even seeing a photo of them! This was the year Irregular Choice properly began their character heels and these came after the bunny and gnome heels. The gnome heel mould is exactly the same as Santa, just painted differently and it's a heel I'm extremely fond of for some reason, so of course I wanted a Christmas version.

I've always said the uppers aren't totally IC in my opinion. They're very simplistic compared to other styles, even just some scalloped edging would've added that little extra something rather than the block of black and wine crushed velvet and gold metallic toe and trim. I've considered selling these so many times, especially once the newer Santa heels launched. However, I just can't bring myself to do it. They're my first Santas and I feel very sentimental about that, even if they are a bit big for me to wear nowadays (I bought the size up). They were probably one of my most worn pairs back when I was posting OOTD blogs here.
