Shoes: Brown fur 'The Beast' Irregular Choice
Hello, sorry for the non-post yesterday, I was in Edinburgh all day Monday and this outfit is from Sunday. I decided the weather was cold enough to pull out the 'big guns'! I wasn't entirely happy with my outfit-I never seem to feel comfortable in leggings unless they're black (odd I know). The good news is I ordered a navy coat online last night-gorgeous but quite expensive. Hopefully it'll fit and I won't need to wear my blue clothes with a black coat as I've been forced to do recently. I hadn't expected it to be such a difficult task-I thought I had nothing better to do than go to the first shop and find one. It's always the way when you have something in mind though. Yesterday the shopping wasn't that great-it was too busy and many shops in Edinburgh are too difficult for me to get into. I did stroke some Louboutin shoes and bags (to die for), was excited to see a pair of Jeffrey Campbell 'Lita' in a real shop (rather rare in the UK), pondered about purchasing yet another pair of Vivienne Westwood/Melissa Lady Dragons in the sale and bought a beautiful pair of ridiculously high heels from Kurt Geiger which I would never have purchased online, but in reality they were just too damn gorgeous.
Wearing: Blue scottie dog print dress H By Henry Holland (Debenhams), swallow cardigan Dorothy Perkins, fur hat and leggings both Primark.
Fit: True to size, a little big in the heel (although not as much as the Long Lashes boots-they are also not as heavy as the LL). Heel 4 3/4" and platform 1 3/4".
Comfort: They could maybe rub a little in places although I was wearing them barefoot.

Day 545 - Good Times
Shoes: Black patent 'Lita' Jeffrey Campbell at Zalando
Hi all, hope you're staying cosy this weekend, it's freezing here. I had a lovely day yesterday with my two old Uni pals; we met for lunch and it turned into group therapy for us all I think. It's great that even although it can be years between visits, we just pick up the conversation where we left off and can openly discuss absolutely anything and everything with each other. Most of you are aware that I've been ill for the past 9 1/2 years and there are lots of areas in my life that I'm at a loss with-both of my buddies however are working, have their own homes and are happily married, however they are both struggling with the same problem currently (without the other knowing until yesterday) and it further cemented in my mind, that nobody has the perfect life, no matter how ideal it may seem from the outside. Anyway onto the outfit and I was a little lazy and wore this dress with these boots again and with the belt-I changed the tights and accessories though, oh and do you like the big purple streak I added to my hair? I love it.
Wearing: Star print gypsy dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, vintage pin-up necklace ASOS, belt?, lace flower and horse rings and unicorn brooch on hat, all Miss Selfridge, mustard (fleece lined) tights, black fur hat, cardigan all Primark and bangle gift.
Fit: I'm a UK5/38 and these are a US8 and fit perfectly. Just under 5" heel and 1 3/4" platform.
Comfort: Didn't have any issues with these today (the tops didn't rub at all with these tights on).

Day 544 - When We Collide
I did manage to go shopping briefly yesterday, armed with my 'list'! Of course when you're specifically looking for something, you rarely find it and when you're not looking, you buy loads. I did get more fleece lined tights (because they are so darn cosy) and long leather gloves and lots of hats to see me through the winter. No coat though unfortunately. It was pretty chilly yesterday especially when you're waiting for 25 minutes in a bus shelter with only an ice cold metal seat to perch on! I was well prepared though with all my layers (I had a cardigan, coat, long gloves, hat and shawl over the top of this).
Wearing: Rose print dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, black tights and stag ring Primark, frog ring Miss Selfridge, bird nest and owl rings Topshop.
Fit: True to size (although I opted for a size up purely for leg room) but the foot is a little large on me. Full length zip. Heel just over 4 1/4" and small concealed platform.

Day 543 - Pretty Dolly
Another wild day which I'm praying will die down because I was hoping to go to Dundee for a winter coat and some other essentials tomorrow (it looks highly unlikely though) as the bridge is closed today. I'm also meeting a couple of old pals on Saturday in Dundee and so I need the bridge to stay open then too! Some pretty rubbish pics today but that's because my sister took her camera back as she has a concert in Glasgow tonight. I actually managed to get the lens to extend on my own camera though (how freaky considering it was totally bust) and the focus isn't that hot, but at least it worked, kinda. This is an old dress that became too tight on me, but actually it was rather loose today-wicked!
Wearing: Blue printed dress, suede leggings, boat print scarf and black waterfall cardigan all Primark.
Fit: As there's no zip, I bought a size larger for ease getting on and off, the foot is a little big but I don't think my heel would get past the ankle section otherwise. Heel just under 4 1/2".

Day 542 - To Be Blunt
I tried to capture the wonderful heel on these boots today as you don't usually get to see that when I photograph them. I was nearly killed by a shoe box avalanche earlier-how many times has that happened to me now? I'd already fixed a clothes one; when I opened a cupboard and they all fell out on my head. I was reaching up to get these boots on top of my wardrobe and thought I could just wiggle the bottom box out, the three on top had other ideas and came crashing down all around me and although I saw it coming, I didn't have enough hands to stop it. I desperately need more room to store my shoes, as I'm permanently juggling them to gain a little space. The two large boxes of Irregular Choice boots I bought last week and my JC Night Walk have no home currently and every day I'm moving them to get into my wardrobe and take these pics, grrr. One day I'll have my own walk-in shoe room, one day...
