Day 562 - Miaow

Shoes: Black 'Miaow' Irregular Choice

Hello! Pretty cold today, although a nice day and still no 'bad' weather, yipee!  I took the photo below (wearing my coat and hat) as I was walking out the door and although the door was closed this time, it always completely blanks out my face, other than some eyebrows and mascara, which I always find amusing!  I used to have these boots in turquoise too, but sold them when I needed money.  I felt guilty about it as I really liked them, but justified it by saying I didn't need them in two colours and for some reason the black were much comfier and bigger than the other.  The heel is pretty low for me, but they're such cute boots I can forgive that.

Wearing: Teal lace dress Chloe Madeley for Asda, black leggings Primark, belt ?
Fit: True to size, zip opening. Heel 3 1/4".
Comfort: No problems with these.

Day 561 - The Sensible Shoe

Shoes: Black suede 'Wowzers' Irregular Choice

I've been leaning more toward 'sensible' shoes lately.  I think high heels and platforms have just become so extreme (4" used to be huge, now that's seen as tame) and I've been guilty of buying higher and higher.  Sometimes though I wear a pair of shoes that are high heeled but easy to walk in (like this pair today) and comfortable and wonder why I subject myself to teetering on slim, scary high heels.  I'd say it's happening more often now-like my body is reacting and pleading with me to opt for the more sensible option.  Hey, if it means a lifetime of JC Lita's and chunky heeled Irregular Choice, then I don't mind!  On my outfit, that was kinda a comfort thing as well. I got maybe an hours sleep last night because it was so windy outside, so I wasn't really in the mood for anything restrictive today.  I changed the hat though because I suspected it would blow off and my knitted tea-cosy one is much warmer too : )

Wearing: Floral dress New Look, black leggings and top (worn underneath) Primark, hat River Island.
Fit: 4 1/2" heel, quite a snug fit.
Comfort: A great heel to clomp away on, easy to walk in.

Day 560 - Coral Crocs

Shoes: Pink 'Croco' Vivienne Westwood & Melissa

I don't think I've ever worn this dress before, it's been hanging in my wardrobe for some time though.  I was kinda undecided about what to wear today, nothing was pulling me one way or the other, but when I saw this dress I immediately thought of my Croco shoes as a good colour match for the flowers and that was it.  I've nothing much else to say today actually, other than my hair has been annoying me.  It looks alright in these pics, but now it's like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards!  I've just washed it and it should be sitting nicely but isn't.  The colour has kept well though, it's only now after 3 1/2 weeks that the turquoise is starting to turn green and the purple stripes have gone lighter.

Wearing:  Navy floral dress Matalan, navy tights Primark, boat cardigan Peacocks.
Fit: Run a little small, not enough to go up a size though. Adjustable buckle fastening. 3 3/4" heel.
Comfort: Can crush your toes after a while, but otherwise no issues.

Day 559 - Spot The Cherry

Look at this, proper pictures and my little carpet space back!  I stole my sisters camera at the weekend and seeing as I haven't given it back yet, I've been able to take some decent pics today.  I also made it into my wardrobe at the weekend...yes "into" the converted Irregular Choice closet to grab some more shoes and put back some other styles that had been lying around.  If you follow me on Facebook then the image I posted yesterday of the two 'floor to almost ceiling' piles of shoe boxes are what sit right in front of one of the wardrobe doors (nightmare); so it's rare I have the energy or inclination to move all that crap to get in behind it.  It's a pity because there's some great pairs of shoes tucked away in there (like this pair today), but hopefully this is the year I'm getting my walk-in shoe closet...fingers crossed.  I did consider selling these at one point because they used to be quite tight and uncomfortable, however they fit a lot better now and I'm glad I didn't let them go because I love the cherry detail.

Wearing: Spotty dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, polka dot tights Primark, belt gift.
Fit: 4 1/2" heel, stud fastening, my regular size are a little snug, but not enough to warrant going up a full size.
Comfort: Easy to walk in.
For my full length shot, I forgot I hadn't taken my hair out of my heart shaped rollers and indeed hadn't taken any images when it dawned on me and I had taken my hair out...woops!

Day 558 - Baby Blue

Shoes: Blythe 'Babi' boot Irregular Choice

I know, I know, another 'in the air' pose! Sorry!  I actually did manage to take some 'old style' pics in the bathroom but they didn't work out because it was too dark.  I've been super busy all weekend and not been out of my jammies, never mind the house!  I've been in a cleaning mood and trying to do as much as I can, plus putting loads of stuff on eBay while they had free listings.  I have managed to clear some space in front of my wardrobe again, so will manage better images this week.  Anyway, this outfit was from Friday-Mum and I popped out to the shops as I needed a couple of things from the beauty counters in Debenhams.  I was so cosy with my fleece tights and big coat as it was freezing that day...but still no 's.n.o.w' or 'i.c.e' (I figure if I spell it out, it won't jinx it), here's hoping we'll bypass the bad winter.  Oh and I was super lazy with my jewellery choice, as I think I wore these rings recently-they were still in my handbag, so that's why I wore them.

Wearing:  Navy floral tea dress New Look, boat scarf in hair, navy tights, brown 'camera' bag, leopard, owl and deer rings all Primark.
Fit: As there's no zip, I bought a size larger for ease getting on and off, the foot is a little big but I don't think my heel would get past the ankle section otherwise. Heel just under 4 1/2".
Comfort: No issues other than they're a struggle to pull off!
