Day 899 - When I'm Not With You I Lose My Mind

Shoes: Black skull 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood & Melissa

So today I went shopping. You know when you just need to get out?  Well it was one of those days. My Debenhams beauty card had been burning a hole in my pocket, so I went to get a certain concealer and they didn't have my shade. All wasn't lost though, I ended up picking up some reduced bargains at the Lancome counter instead and was very happy that I'd resisted purchasing them full-price. I also got unicorn jammies in Primark-I was so excited. Plus a new bra, which to be blunt, shapes me in a way that you could lay a tray on my chest, up and out! It's going to take some getting used to, I feel like Lady Gaga/Katy Perry with the gun/firework bra. I might just knock someones eye out! It was also a day for hair appreciation, especially with the old ladies. One spoke to me before lunch, then sat and watched me, mesmerised the entire time. Uncomfortable ; )

Wearing: Heart print dip hem dress, black leggings, green beaded cardi, coral flower ring and sunglasses Primark, Liberty ring Topshop, other ring my Granny's, spike ear cuff and lily hair clip (part of set) ASOS, pansy clutch bag Accessorize.
Fit: True to size, adjustable slingback, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: Easy to walk in, but pinched my toes after a while.

Day 691 - Some Of Us Soar To The Stars

Shoes: Black skull 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood & Melissa

What a beautiful day today, it was like 'proper summer', so exciting and about time!  I wasn't quite sure what to wear to mark the occasion (!), bare legs or summery, flowing maxi?  I'd actually worn this dress the other day but had to change when the weather turned nasty, so I got it out again and eventually found these shoes hidden in the furthest away corner above my wardrobe to pair with.  Hope this weather is here to stay!

Wearing: Turquoise floral shift dress Dorothy Perkins, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan, 'Nikita' sunglasses Tom Ford.
Fit: True to size, adjustable slingback, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: Easy to walk in, it's on and off whether you'll get a 'good day' with the Lady Dragons or they'll rub your feet, today was fine!

Day 598 - Ain't Got No Manners Cos I Eat With My Fingers

Shoes: Black skull 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood & Melissa

So yesterday I picked up these cool leggings in Debenhams.  Although I wear leggings a lot, I usually don't spend much on one pair and find £4 Primark pairs do me fine. These were £20 which did have me thinking twice (especially as I figured they were a print so I'm less likely to wear them with everything like my plain black ones) although I have to say they are 'quality' (mega thick) and they were just too darn cute for me to put back.  I didn't want to be too safe and wear with plain black today, so opted for a print instead and I rather like this outfit. It was absolutely beautiful today, I didn't check the temperature but I went out with my sunglasses on, no gloves or scarf and no coat and bare feet, it was that summery!

Wearing: Dog print leggings H by Henry Holland, beach dress Primark, shoe scarf in hair gift, cardigan Primark, earrings Claire's.
Fit: True to size, adjustable slingback, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: Easy to walk in, they rubbed my feet today though, oh the joys of going back to summer footwear!

Day Four Hundred & Sixty One - Once More

Shoes: Lilac skull 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood & Melissa

I've been trawling through my photos to find The Shoe Girl Diaries posts I've missed seeing as I didn't get out today. Believe it or not, there's still a couple! This was taken...hmm, not too long ago judging by my new hairstyle (it's shorter and I've lost the pink, it's mainly turquoise with some purple at the ends and back). I love my hair like this when it's really short, but I think I'll get Mum to cut even more off, as once the curls drop it's still quite long (shoulder length-ish). It means I'm losing the pink/purple though, but seeing as I haven't coloured it pink for over a year now, I guess I could add a little colour to the ends for next time. The purple is a gorgeous colour and created when the turquoise covers the pink sections (but I wouldn't recommend mixing the two dye colours together beforehand as the pink is so strong it rarely changes colour at this stage). Yes, I'm wearing my jellies a lot just now-trying to get some wear out of them before the bad weather sets in. I figured wearing the mint pair with this dress would be a little too twee, so chose the lilac instead.

Wearing: Mint butterfly (apparently?) shirt dress Dorothy Perkins, black leggings Primark, black bow cardi New Look.
Fit: True to size, adjustable slingback, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: Ok and easy to walk in.

Day Four Hundred & Fifty Nine - Yikes

Shoes: Mint skull 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood & Melissa

For some reason my picture editing program keeps crashing, so I can't upload anything from my camera today. Pretty annoying. In a spooky twist of fate though, I took a couple of images on my phone and a video-how freaky am I, that I knew my camera would have issues today?? So yes, in a TSGD first we have a video of me out walking in my shoes-riveting! And proof I do actually wear the shoes I say I wear! I'll hopefully get up the 'real' pics and Thursdays shoes too which are still stuck on my camera. *new pics uploaded now*

Wearing: Floral twill dress F&F at Tesco, black leggings and black bow cardi New Look, metal bow belt Topshop, bow and sunglasses Primark.
Fit: True to size, adjustable slingback. Heel 4 1/4"
Comfort: My shoes the other day rubbed my feet, so even today they were a little sore, not really a specific issue with these shoes though.

Day Four Hundred & Fifty Five - Boats & Skulls

Shoes: Lilac skull 'Lady Dragon' slingback Vivienne Westwood & Melissa

Some quick snaps from today. Went shopping, first time in months but I was really needing something for my new little nephew. Baby boys clothes suck, seriously! I spent the entire time oohing and aahing over the most beautiful clothes for Saoirse and Meadow, my friends little girls. It's just so much easier to buy for girls, the clothes have personality whereas it's a case of deciding which width of stripe you'd like for boys! My feet were killing me in these shoes after a few hours. I'm not sure why as I was sitting down the entire time, but my toes felt seriously crushed when they're usually alright.

Wearing: Cream boat print sun-dress, black leggings and cardi Primark, long pearls, treasure chest ring Miss Selfridge, giraffe ring Dorothy Perkins and daisy ring Primark.
Fit: True to size, adjustable slingback and 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: Crushed my toes today, don't usually!
