Day 1262 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Flaming June
Shoes: Flaming June | Irregular Choice

Another archive set of photos for you this week after my Hot Shot teddies last time.  Flaming June are from SS17 and came in various colours.  I wanted the mint green the most (no surprise there), but ended up with the pink.  I much prefer cooler shades of pink and IC tend to make theirs very warm and peachy.  For that reason and the fact they're not that fancy, I've tried to part with these many a time, with no luck.  The magpie in me definitely can't resist some sparkles and I always change my mind!  There were a lot of styles that season with this chunky heel and small platform shape; even Teddy Toes is the same, just covered in fur.  It's comfortable and pretty robust.  The only thing I'd watch out for is the ankle straps (on most of those styles to be honest) as they aren't overly long and this one is particularly fiddly because of the glitter to get through the buckle.  The straps are also those restrictive kind when walking or bending.  The shoe itself runs slightly large, but not enough to size down.  If you're between sizes, then you should be able to opt for the smaller size.  These are a simple enough shape, but there's something quite cutesy about them.  I like them, still!

Wearing: Barbie leggings, Miss Selfridge (old).
Fit: 4 1/2" heel, 3/4" platform. Adjustable buckle on strap. Runs true to size if a little generous (not enough to size down) so if between sizes opt for the smaller.
Comfort:  Strap quite restrictive when walking/moving.
