The Shoe Girl Styles It: Vivienne Westwood Coral Sandal

Hopefully we'll get back into our usual routine next week, but in the meantime it's another 'Sunday' post on Monday! I thought I'd get more work done whilst my parents are on holiday, but the opposite has been true. I've been spending time with my sister and trying to do a little more in my shoe room, but the majority of last week was spent updating my blog pages. Shameful confession here, but it was 2012 (or 2011 in one case) since I edited them, oops! It took much longer than I anticipated, so I can see why I left it so long! It wasn't a matter of copying and pasting for both blogs either, because different information was required for each. I took new photos and there's links to my most popular posts and 'specials', so hopefully I've covered everything. At this point I don't even want to know if there's an error in them (shouldn't be) but check them out when you have time: Disclaimer Policy, About The Shoe Girl Diaries and FAQ.
Ok so onto shoes and this entire look actually is from Very Exclusive. You all know Very, but they launched a new site this year showcasing designer clothing, accessories and beauty. They've got some of my favourite brands, so I'm sure it won't be too long until I place an order. The coral suede sandals are Vivienne Westwood £370 and I chose a really bold, eclectic mix for them. They're rather minimalist, so there was definitely scope for that! I started with this yellow striped REDValentino skirt, clashing with a blue 'Killing It' t-shirt by Zoe Karssen. The skirt is a little fussy and girly, the T plain and masculine providing a contrast. I finished with a Design Inverso quilted bag to match the shoes and another colour/print clash with these Fendi sunglasses. It's a little different to my usual style here, but I rather like it. What do you think?Polyvore outfit set with Vivienne Westwood sandals and striped skirt and tshirt
Worn with:  Zoe Karssen 'Killing It' t-shirt £60, REDValentino striped frill skirt £270, Design Inverso 'Milano' quilted bag £95 and Fendi contrast tip sunglasses £305.

  1. I really like the look! I wouldn't *wear* the skirt as I know it wouldn't suit my shape but I do like it!! Missed you- nice you are back!x

    1. Thank you. I've missed being here...just realising that I'm still not capable of dividing my time between everything without feeling wrecked. I felt guilty for not posting, like I always do when I leave it too long!

  2. Oh, I'm the same as Kezzie - drawn to that skirt even though it would not do my behind any favours.

    1. I'm drawn to it too and I'm not usually a fan of these frilled hem shapes.
