Day 1218 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Wish Magic | Irregular Choice 

New pair of shoes incoming! It's been a while since I've had a new season/new style from IC, but these wand heels from their Magic Sceptre collection that launched last week, really spoke to me. First though, I have to apologise that the photos aren't the best. The first pair of tights I wore were a disaster when it came to editing (I suspected as much and should've trusted my instincts, but you never know for sure until you've started resizing them online), so I had to reshoot the whole lot. By then, the sun was shining and creating all sorts of brightness and shadows and my phone wasn't positioned as well as the first time and chopped off the bottom of the shoes, so I had to try for a third time...I was beat by this point!  I've salvaged what I can, albeit with shadows and Casper legs, but I've covered all angles as usual.

Day 1217 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Baby Bear | Irregular Choice 

I'm late in posting today as I've spent the last 2 days sorting through old folders on my laptop to properly organise all the styles I still have to share here.  It makes sense with the darker days, to rely on old photos rather than taking new ones (why am I giving myself more work when I don't need to?) and I've been quite tired these past few weeks, so it's really been a weight off my mind to know I don't have to locate shoes, try them on, photograph them and empty the mess in the shoe room in the process!  There's a lot of photos still...like, a lot more than I thought, so we're grand for a good wee while, despite my lack of shoe buying this year.

Shoes: Slummber Party | Irregular Choice 

Another archive style for you today, with these ankle boots from AW17. I was so torn with which colour to buy back then. They came in pink and black as well as this blue and I know I usually go for blue or green, but I was genuinely tempted with the others, especially the pink.

Day 1215 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Bobs Ur Uncle | Irregular Choice 

An oldie for you today and old photos too, that I haven't yet shown here. I usually take pictures at the weekend, but this week, I just felt so drained. I kept contemplating going into the shoe room and then remembered the piles of shoe boxes I always have to move and decided against it! I have loads of styles I haven't yet fit-reviewed here anyway and many I've already photographed for other posts or social media, so I suppose I can use them and stop making life difficult for myself. I'm also going through my annual shock at how little daylight there is at this time of year and how quickly it gets dark. Why does it surprise me every time?! So it's maybe better I use up old photos during these months and pray for a few hours of light if I buy anything new!

Day 1214 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Edina | Irregular Choice 

Although I bought these a couple of years ago, they are actually from Irregular Choice's AW12 collection, so quite an age now.  They feature this interesting layered, wooden heel, which is the only pair I have in this shape.  I miss these days, when higher, but still manageable, heel heights were in abundance.  I guess I'm in the minority as almost everything now is a mid heel height.
