Shoes: Irregular Choice green Petrisha
Aigo, I've been trying to post this for the past few weeks, but it's taken until now to finish. I'm not going to moan about it, I'm really struggling just now and I realise it must be annoying for you too, missing the usual features and putting up with sporadic posting, but unless a miracle happens, there's nothing I can do and I just have to keep trying when I feel able. So back to shoes and I have a full outfit for you again. I had an appointment with the doctor, which was a bit of an episode that truth be told, I can't be bothered typing about (too much drama)! I struggled with my footwear this day, because it rained on and off (quite torrential) and I realised almost all of my shoe collection (and especially IC's) are suede (or suedette) or made from some colour, finish or trim that I wouldn't want getting ruined in the rain.
So I could only find these, which were clumpier and more matchy than I intended, but with limited energy, once I'm dressed, I'm dressed, so there was no changing. The colour is just stunning though, a dusky, muted green, I just love it. The frill, flower and jewel details are totally mesmerising too. The wiggle dress is an older one (a couple of years ago), but I love the colours. It fits a lot better than it did back then too. The cardi is fast becoming one of my favourites. It's shorter than I'd usually go for (yet the sleeves are really long), but I love the shimmering, colour changing shells on the front and "Mermaid For Life" embroidered on the back. With a dress like this, it doesn't feel uncomfortably short. I'm sorry I hadn't realised how speckled my mirror selfies were until editing them. I swear you wipe that mirror and it makes it worse (especially on black clothing)! I hope you're all having a good week so far, I'm a bit more chipper after buying these unicorn shoes today. Life has been hard as hell lately with no signs of improvement, so I'm celebrating the small wins! Like finally completing this post, whoop! What do you think, do you like this look?

Fit: Feel small, I needed a size-up. Heel just under 5 1/2" with a 2" platform.
Comfort: A good solid base to walk on.
