Apologies for the late post and no-show last week, I've been struggling after an optician's appointment. As it's been years, I'm not accustomed to being out of the house, so I'm absolutely exhausted. Last time, I showed you my bargain Garden Gala and today, I have another too-good-to-resist purchase from Unrulyu a while back.

Shoes: Garden Gala (green) | Irregular Choice
Last week I reviewed Bunny Palette which sadly had to be returned, I'm still gutted about that, but there's no point in keeping something I was unhappy with, especially if I couldn't cover that part. This week, I have something you've seen before but in a different colour.

Day 1241 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Garden Gala | Irregular Choice
Another fantastic sale pair for you today, after the rainbow Quartz Order boots last week. Garden Gala came in three colours and it might surprise you to know, that I didn't buy the green. It can happen folks! The other pair were black, but these pink ones stood out to me immediately. They're the brightest and most colourful of the bunch, so that's why! The heel is a textured metallic fuchsia and the uppers, a multi-coloured lurex with sporadic patches of sequins. The sequins are multi-coloured, but silver on the flip-side. However, the main attraction are the oodles of flower embellishments in varying sizes, colours and finishes. The yellow pompoms are a favourite, but really I love them all.

Shoes: Shoot For The Stars | Irregular Choice
Today I have another style from AW21, after my Little Red Riding Hood inspired ankle boots last week, from the same season. Shoot For The Stars grabbed my attention when they launched, but unsure of how practical they'd be for me, I didn't buy them. I kept going back to them and decided to take the plunge recently at a very good sale price. They came in 2 colours and I had the option of both. Initially I was drawn to the more green pair (you know me!), but it wasn't until I saw 'real' photos of these that I realised how green and blue they were too. The lightning bolt on this pair, have a mirrored finish with printed stars. The colour flips between bright green and blue in the light, often with purple in between, which you'll see throughout my photos.

Day 1237 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Hop To It | Irregular Choice
I've overdone it this past week (making a 40th birthday card for my sister), so the new shoes I'd hoped to show you, will have to wait another week. I bought Hop To It, back when they launched in Spring 2018. The photos are from a year later, when I was doing #365daysofIrregularChoice on Instagram and I have to say my feet have clearly grown since.

Shoes: Trixy (blue/teal) | Irregular Choice
Last week I shared the newest variation of gold-heeled Trixy unicorn courts and today I have the pair I was even more intrigued to see in person. The reason being, these have a brand new coloured heel. Still mirrored metallic, but in a bright turquoise. It's totally my type of colour, so I was instantly attracted to it from the teaser (without even seeing the uppers).

Day 1234 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Trixy (gold, black/multi) | Irregular Choice
Finally something launched at Irregular Choice that I like! We've been seeing some older styles brought back in new colourways (remember the Poker Joker dice boots I showed you a couple of months ago?) and last Friday was the turn of the unicorn court shoe, Trixy. There were two options along with matching Magic Pony handbags.

Day 1221 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Santas Workshop | Irregular Choice
My boots from the Irregular Choice Christmas collection eventually arrived last week, after the mix-up with next day delivery. They felt like the most "me" pair from the launch and were the only footwear purchase I made that day, despite buying lots of other bits. However, I don't think I'll be keeping them, which I'm pretty disappointed about...they just don't suit me and I'll discuss that later.

Day 1219 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Queenie | Irregular Choice
Back to the archive styles today and you'll likely recall I went crazy for this heel shape when it was released in 2017. I originally bought the mint Kir Royal and Tatsu ankle boot, going on to buy the black KR and then this style, Queenie, in pink and black. Neither colour I've shared here before, so here's the pink version, though it's more a dusky, mauve type shade to me in real life.

Shoes: Slummber Party | Irregular Choice
Another archive style for you today, with these ankle boots from AW17. I was so torn with which colour to buy back then. They came in pink and black as well as this blue and I know I usually go for blue or green, but I was genuinely tempted with the others, especially the pink.

Shoes: Bobs Ur Uncle | Irregular Choice
An oldie for you today and old photos too, that I haven't yet shown here. I usually take pictures at the weekend, but this week, I just felt so drained. I kept contemplating going into the shoe room and then remembered the piles of shoe boxes I always have to move and decided against it! I have loads of styles I haven't yet fit-reviewed here anyway and many I've already photographed for other posts or social media, so I suppose I can use them and stop making life difficult for myself. I'm also going through my annual shock at how little daylight there is at this time of year and how quickly it gets dark. Why does it surprise me every time?! So it's maybe better I use up old photos during these months and pray for a few hours of light if I buy anything new!

Day 1210 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Delicate Diamond | Irregular Choice
These boots were part of the updated diamond shaped heel collection for AW20. The heel is a lot slimmer and lighter than the previous jewel shape we'd seen on the likes of Diamontina years ago. I originally bought the green version (exclusive to IC) and had always hankered after this pink/red combo, so when they restocked them in the summer sale, I snapped them up. I feel they are different enough to the green ones to justify both and they came in black too, which again are a totally different look.

Day 1205 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Hippokampos | Irregular Choice
Another old Irregular Choice sale buy I got a long time ago, but haven't shared yet. These also came in green, which we all know I'd usually be drawn to, but I really loved the multi-coloured gems on the black pair. The other pair were just one colour. I also love the multi-coloured trim, edging the shoe and the strap, it's stunning in real life, such vivid colours and a reptile finish. This shoe is just crazy embellished, they really threw everything at it, yet they're still pretty subdued compared to others in my collection.

Day 1199 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Elegant Evil | Irregular Choice
Last week Irregular Choice ran a sale on their Disney stock and although there wasn't much left in my size that I didn't already own, I've had my eye on these for a long time. I bought both the Ariel globe heels on launch day, alongside accessories and some Belle things, so these had to go onto the wishlist for another time. I think they're really different, certainly from the other Disney pieces I own and seeing them up close, I wasn't disappointed, they are every bit as wonderful as I expected them to be.

Shoes: Paint A Fawn | Irregular Choice
Today, I have my second pair from the Paint Your Own Heel collection that launched at Irregular Choice the other week. My cat heels from last week are reviewed here if you missed them. Once more, I won't be wearing these as they are, I'll definitely be decorating them, I just haven't decided on what to do yet. As soon as I saw them, I felt they were the ones most inspiring me and the cats less so, but actually I already have my cat concept and I'm now struggling a bit with these. The uppers are amazing; this bold purple, actually more pinkish than the Cadbury purple they look here. I can't think of any proper purple shoes I have from IC (or anywhere actually) and certainly not a character heel, so they really excite me in that aspect. I'm just trying to think of something I can do to compliment such a vivid colour as I don't want to dull it down. The glitter part is stunning and the main material is a textured croc-metallic.

Day 1193 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Dreamscape | Irregular Choice
Big post today, lots to get through, because after 5 months of not buying any new season Irregular Choice, I finally have a brand new style! These launched last Friday, with a completely new concept heel and wow, just wow! One style (Bouquet Belle) were exclusive to IC, then Bouquet Beauty and these, Dreamscape, came in 2 colours each. There was also a bag, which I'm getting for my birthday, it's sooo cute. I expected a bigger collection or selection of items to be honest. I was hoping for tights and some other accessories, though these tights look great with them. First, let's talk about sizing as it was a big worry for me buying online.

Day 1191 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Deckchair Diva | Irregular Choice
I had to rake through my photos folders for these images after being too knackered to photograph anything this week, combined with very poor weather. It's proper dark and cold today, like needing a light on during the day kinda dark and ice hitting your face (so my sister tells me). Apparently it's to be like this until mid May. Say it isn't so! Anyway, I have tonnes of photos I took when I was doing the IC challenge in 2019 on Instagram, including lots of styles I've yet to review here. This was the ice cream sundae heel (not to be confused with the twice released ice cream cone heels) which launched for Spring 2018. I bought Arctic Roll, with the pom-poms and tassels, in the summer sale (how I held my nerve until then, I don't know) and then saw these for under £50 on eBay the next January.

Day 1187 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Zevra | Irregular Choice
I really fell in love with this style when it launched in 2019. They came in black and white, the more obvious colour choice for a zebra upper, but the amazing tinsel tail on the pink version stole my heart. The other pair had plain black, but here we got this wonderful multi-colour metallic which immediately reminded me of my favourite 80's doll, Superstar Sindy. I've attached a photo at the bottom, as she lives in my shoe room! I wasn't prepared for how full the tail would be, it's like a cheerleader pom pom at the back, it's fabulous and so swishy.

Day 1186 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Funshine | Irregular Choice
Something very summery today; an older sale buy, originally from Spring/Summer 2018. These are perfectly named Funshine; such a cheery shoe. It's a medium weight wooden wedge platform and heel. I've felt lighter and definitely felt heavier too, but it does feel pretty solid to walk on. Obviously they are high, there's no denying that, so if you're usually pretty wobbly on higher heels, I'd avoid these as I don't think they are so stable that you'd never fall. Obviously I haven't properly worn shoes for a year now and I've noticed recently when trying them on for these posts, I'm struggling a bit with comfort, but actually I was fine in these. No aching arches, no desperation to get them off because they felt too high, so if you do wear heels, you can manage these, just be mindful of uneven surfaces!

Day 1185 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Chalk It Up | Irregular Choice
I knew I jinxed myself the other day in this post by saying I was really organised with blogging just now! I've been so distracted by other things these past couple of days that I'm hastily trying to piece this post together last minute. Anyway, these were another sale buy from Irregular Choice; I was trying to drastically limit my full-price buys last year because money was/is tight (I miss eBaying!), so I had a lot to buy when sale time came. That's actually reminded me that I still have to pay for these on Klarna! Anyway, I really liked these when they launched as part of the Fun & Games collection last year (not to be confused with the Gaming collection my last two posts came from). This collection was really fun; snakes and ladders, chess, the big wheel and then these pencil items. There's a bag, which I also have, a court shoe and then these boots.
