Day 1253 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Looney Tunes Saturday Morning
Shoes: Saturday Morning | Irregular Choice (Looney Tunes)

I have another high heel for you this week, after my Vivienne Westwood tartan shoes last time. Irregular Choice just launched their Looney Tunes collection and loving this new character heel, I ordered a couple of pairs intending to keep just one (it came in this ankle boot or two colourways of a court shoe). The pair I have today are definitely my favourite of the two, so let's start with them. This style is exclusive to IC, so only available online from their website and from their Brighton store (the only one left in the UK currently). Firstly, I adore their name, "Saturday Morning", it brings back memories of watching cartoons when I was little with my sisters.  When I was 12 I started a paper round, so TV had to wait until I got home (I recall rushing home for The Legend Of Prince Valiant). Even as a kid though, I have to admit I got really frustrated with the continual chase and animosity between duos such as Tweety and Sylvester and Tom & Jerry, it tired me out!

Day 1240 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Quartz Order
Shoes: Quartz Order | Irregular Choice

I got these boots for an absolute steal, alongside the Shoot For The Stars courts I shared last week.  They were part of the AW20 diamond heel release, which featured a much slimmed down version of the old jewel heel seen on the likes of Diamontina and Shimmy.  You may recall my favourite from the newer launch was Delicate Diamond in green and then I later got the red version in the sale.  Quartz Order came in four colourways; plain black fabric, a Prince Of Wales style check with rainbow finish, metallic camouflage and these, rainbow metallic.

Day 1230 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing Irregular Choice Lapin boots
Shoes: Lapin | Irregular Choice

Another archive style that I've never  reviewed here before.  Lapin came out in AW19 and I bought them straight away (they also came in black).  There's no way I was missing out on these, they're beautiful and you know how much I love a boot.

Day 1227 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Poker Joker dice heeled boots
Shoes: Poker Joker | Irregular Choice

A brand new release for you this week. These updated dice boots just relaunched in two exclusive to IC colourways. Last year, was it just last year? Three new colours were released of the Poker Joker boot, first introduced for AW15, as part of the Bring Back collection. I really liked the blue pair, but couldn't afford them at the time and typically, they sold out, never to return and so I had to make-do with the bauble version at Christmas! Not quite the same, sadly.

Day 1221 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing Irregular Choice Santas Workshop boots
Shoes: Santas Workshop | Irregular Choice

My boots from the Irregular Choice Christmas collection eventually arrived last week, after the mix-up with next day delivery.  They felt like the most "me" pair from the launch and were the only footwear purchase I made that day, despite buying lots of other bits.  However, I don't think I'll be keeping them, which I'm pretty disappointed about...they just don't suit me and I'll discuss that later.

Day 1211 - Shoesday Tuesday

pink and lime green zebra patterned sequin boots
Shoes: Hot Stuff | Irregular Choice

These were my third pair of thigh high boots in this style from Irregular Choice.  They were part of the Halloween collection a couple of years ago.  As with previous styles (Satine and Finders Keepers), I worried about their flexibility, especially at the knee when sitting (in the wheelchair) and given that the uppers are entirely sequins (which tend to be stiffer), I only bought these when they were drastically reduced, as I wasn't sure I'd be able to wear them often.

Day 1207 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing Hello Kitty themed tights and boots with Kitty shaped heel
Shoes: Playing Dress Up | Irregular Choice x Sanrio

So, this week I have the first of my Irregular Choice Sanrio footwear buys from the collection that launched recently.  I've written a summary of the items I bought and my first impressions over on Pink Haired Princess and I was slightly critical of these boots.  They were a style we saw in the previews and I thought a pair, I'd definitely keep, but when they arrived I wasn't so sure.  Having properly tried them on for this post, I've changed my mind yet again, I really like them! Isn't that typical?

Day 1192 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing embroidered navy knee high boots with fish jacquard print
Shoes: Hiccup | Irregular Choice

Hi gang! Just a quick post this week as I don't have time to edit more photos (these were from Instagram in 2019).  I would've worn different tights had I known I was posting here as resizing the pics results in moirĂ© because they are shiny and shimmery.  Anyway, I've been trying to be semi-social this past week or so (given that I never go out), so have been signing up to lots of online classes and events.  This week, I have the Glamour Big Beauty Call, next week it's Vogue's 5 Days Of Beauty.  I also regularly attend Guerlain and Clarins masterclasses, but for someone that never has anything planned, I'm worrying I'll forget to attend or that I'm double booking (think it's Clarins and Glamour tomorrow, then Guerlain and Glamour on Thursday).  I'm trying to get everything done before the classes, as I know I'll tire myself out if I try to do two things at once, but my head's all over the place and I just got side-tracked by the delivery of 4 parcels (a long wait until payday again đŸ¤£)!  Anyway nothing to do with these boots.

Day 1189 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing blue thigh high boots with pink glitter heel
Shoes: Finders Keepers | Irregular Choice

I'm going to tell you from the outset that these photos are rubbish! It kept snowing on and off, filling the room with blue light and I didn't have the energy or time to retake them.  I've adjusted as best I could, but the lighting/colours aren't perfect (particularly of the heel, which I'll come onto later).  So after falling in love with the Satine thigh high boots and eventually buying them, albeit slightly apprehensively, as I wasn't sure how flexible they were going to be at the knee (given I'm usually in a wheelchair), I was really pleased to see different uppers of the same style in these Finders Keepers for AW19.

Day 1176 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing colourful ankle boots with acrylic big rotating wheel
Shoes: Topsy Turvy | Irregular Choice

This is what Santa brought me for Christmas; amazing ankle boots from the Irregular Choice Fun & Games collection (AW20).  I would've shown you them last week, but they didn't fit, so I had to re-order the size up and I've been pretty knackered the past couple of weeks, sleeping a lot and unable to stand to take photos.  Anyway, I had a burst of energy today, so took the opportunity to get this post done.  These boots are just...wow!  I think I said that multiple times when I took them out the box.  It's such a novel idea.

Day 1175 - Shoesday Tuesday

blue star print knee high boots with red and white striped hat shaped heel
Shoes: The Cat In The Hat | Irregular Choice

I've finished my festive footwear posts, so this week, I have another recent purchase, The Cat In The Hat boots from the Dr Seuss collection.  This collection was split into 2 parts, with CITH coming first, then The Grinch in time for Christmas.  I didn't buy anything from that launch...there's several things I like, but I can't afford them after all the Christmas stuff.  I also technically couldn't afford these and therefore didn't buy them on launch day, but a birthday voucher I'd been saving for something else (but ended up getting for a better deal elsewhere) meant I saved quite a bit.

Day 1172 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing irregular choice red glitter advent calendar boots
Shoes: Advent Adventures | Irregular Choice

Look what arrived today, just in time for opening!  Let me start by saying the Christmas collection this year from Irregular Choice is literally jaw-dropping.  The light up fabric we were introduced to in the Space Station collection features, the Santa heel is back (yay) and glittery, there's musical heels, paint your own Santa heel and these, advent calendar boots.  If you can't think it up, IC will!

Day 1171 - Shoesday Tuesday

LED light up boots in dark with rocket shaped heel
Shoes: Warp Speed | Irregular Choice

At the end of last month, the Irregular Choice 'Space Station' collection launched. A colourful range of footwear and accessories including the box/sole design from this season, a brand new concept heel and an original way of giving us lights. The boots I bought are Warp Speed (in black) and I fell in love at first sight with the design, as it reminded me of my old poodle ankle boots, a favourite of mine. These fit a little looser, with the flap not being quite as close to the leg and no option to wear them folded down, but still the overall shape is there and I'm loving it.

Day 1169 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing care bear calf length boots with printed care bears tights
Shoes: Full Of Cheer | Irregular Choice (Care Bears)

Another Care Bear style for you this week from the recent Irregular Choice launch. These boots, like the Kingdom Of Caring shoes last time, were one of the few items we saw previewed before release and I knew I definitely wanted them.

Day 1165 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing blue snakeskin boots with rainbow shine and silver ring detail
Shoes:  Irregular Choice Luxovious (by Rowena Barriskill)

The last of my Irregular Choice Super Fan collection fit reviews today. This is another pair Rowena designed and I've already reviewed them in-depth on Pink Haired Princess, if you haven't seen that. Like I said over there, this rainbow sheen on the snakeskin pattern really, really shines in these photos. You can not only see the high-shine, but all the rainbow colours, it's so cool.

Day 1162 - Shoesday Tuesday

little mermaid water globe heeled boots on feet with patterned tights side view
Shoes: Irregular Choice Just Me And The Sea (The Little Mermaid)

Happy New Year! Hope you're feeling rejuvenated after the break.  I've been struggling from doing a little more over the festive period and the 365 day challenge on Instagram took it's toll on me, as I tried to catch up on days I'd missed when I'd previously felt unwell.  It was all just too much in the end, but it's finished and I can concentrate on other things now (I'm very aware these days of only being able to do one thing at a time).  So, today I have the last of my Disney Princesses shoes to show you.

Day 1161 - Shoesday Tuesday

yellow and blue brocade mid calf boots being worn with fishnet tights
Shoes:  Irregular Choice A Tale Of Enchantment (Beauty And The Beast)

Onto Belle this week from Beauty & The Beast, which launched alongside The Little Mermaid collection this month as the last of the Disney Princesses at Irregular Choice. I ended up not going for a Belle character heel, which is unusual as characters are usually my thing. I fell for these boots though, honestly the moment I saw them and so I decided to get those and the matching bag and because Ariel is my favourite, her things were basically my priority. I think I said last week, I wasn't going to get Make A Splash because the heels were the same as the boots and I favoured those. Had I done that, I might've gotten a Belle heel, but my budget only stretched so far and I'm so glad I did opt for those shell shoes because they are lovely.

Day 1149 - Shoesday Tuesday

legs wearing black Gothic glitter boots
Shoes: Black Luna Sparkles Irregular Choice

I'm back, with another new-ish Irregular Choice style from AW18. I got these over the Black Friday....month. Haha, why do we make it last so long in the UK? Anyway, I'd had my eye on them from the start and had a list of stuff I hoped to get in the BF sales as usually, they are better than the January sales (or the start of the January sales anyway). They come in several colours, these are black, but as you can hopefully see, they have a strong green and purple glitter to them. Chunky glitter, so it is rough to touch, thankfully not against the foot or leg though (it's the dreamy metallic rainbow lining inside). I haven't noticed any glitter fall-out yet either.

Day 1135 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing irregular choice glitter fairy boots
Shoes: Irregular Choice turquoise Angelica Pearson

Hello! I suspected you might want to see the boots from the fairy toadstool launch first, as the style is a little different. Help me out on this Instagram post though with which tights you'd like to see next week for the shoes. I'm really going back and forth between the two and can't make a decision on which I like best. Thank you to everyone who voted so far, I didn't expect so many comments. If you haven't guessed, I am keeping both the shoes and boots. I decided this pretty early on and thanks to my family for not letting me starve whilst I pay them back!

Day 1121 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Maya birdcage boots on the foot
Shoes: Irregular Choice blue and pink birdcage Maya boots

I have the very latest character heel from Irregular Choice to show you today. I've just reviewed them in more detail on Pink Haired Princess, so head over there afterwards for that. I said there that they are a similar shape to my Glissade or Call Me Cinders in the foot, though obviously these are a taller boot. They hit mid-calf on me and I bought them in my usual size (5/38) after much deliberating. Both those other styles I sized up in, hence the dilemma. Glissade were super small and just fitted in the bigger size, CMC were more generous, so a little bit of wiggle room in the size up. I've been finding IC big lately (mostly) and I figured with the zip and laces, I could fiddle around until they fit.
