Day 1263 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Trixy
Shoes: Trixy (red, gold heel) | Irregular Choice

I hadn't realised it was as long as a month since I last posted, IC's Flaming June.  I've not been feeling the best, the usual end of year exhaustion, which I don't understand because I've done absolutely nothing for the last couple of years.  I did have the dentist last month, which was my first time out of the house in a while and I'm guessing it's that that's taken it out of me.  Anyway, I've been buying shoes, Irregular Choice, which usually wouldn't be a surprise, but if you've been keeping up with my blog, you'll know not much has appealed to me in recent collections, so actually it's pretty rare.

Day 1235 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Trixy shoes
Shoes: Trixy (blue/teal) | Irregular Choice

Last week I shared the newest variation of gold-heeled Trixy unicorn courts and today I have the pair I was even more intrigued to see in person.  The reason being, these have a brand new coloured heel.  Still mirrored metallic, but in a bright turquoise.  It's totally my type of colour, so I was instantly attracted to it from the teaser (without even seeing the uppers).

Day 1234 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Trixy gold unicorn heels
Shoes: Trixy (gold, black/multi) | Irregular Choice

Finally something launched at Irregular Choice that I like! We've been seeing some older styles brought back in new colourways (remember the Poker Joker dice boots I showed you a couple of months ago?) and last Friday was the turn of the unicorn court shoe, Trixy.  There were two options along with matching Magic Pony handbags.

Day 1232 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Daisy Dreams | Irregular Choice

When I spoke last week about having to compromise on certain aspects of footwear these days, these boots immediately sprung to mind.  Daisy Dreams launched for SS19 and while I instantly loved the theme and colours, the heel height was really off-putting for me.  With such a large platform, it essentially takes the heel down to a very small 2 1/4", which means your foot is almost flat inside.  It's nowhere near the elevation my feet are accustomed to.

Shoes: Paint A Friend | Irregular Choice

Here's the final Irregular Choice 'Paint Your Own Heels' style from the collection that launched last month.  Like the bunnies last week, the plain unicorn heel was initially released last year (I blogged about them here) and once more I felt these were different enough to own both.

Day 1166 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Irregular Choice Heavens Above

I was planning on posting my fit review of these weeks ago, but stuff kept getting in the way. I finally got the post finished tonight though, also managed to squeeze in taking photos of the other lightning bolt pair I bought, so I'll aim for those next week. I've already written an in-depth review with loads of photos on Pink Haired Princess, so won't go into the style of these Heavens Above too much here, but this post is quite photo heavy, they're just so photogenic!

Day 1140 - I Would've Noticed A Gold Wedding Band, Diane

Shoes: Black Eternal Friends, Irregular Choice

Hold up, how have I never worn these on the blog before? I checked back and I included them in the 12 Shoes Of Christmas post I did with Tomi back in 2015, but I can't find a separate Shoesday post for them at all. Usually I'd remember taking photos and never getting around to posting them, but I'm not even sure I've done that. Anyway, I did wear these the week before last and was trying to work out if it was their first wear. I think I may have answered that, judging by the lack of photos here. I really don't know how I've missed posting them on the blog before, but here they are with a full outfit.

Day 1127 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes:  Irregular Choice Lady Misty

I bought these a few months ago, when they were released alongside the velvet cat pair (Stars At Night here).  I've said it many a time before, but I will forever buy styles with this heel, I love it.

Day 1066 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Pegasos Irregular Choice

Hello, hope you're all well. I have a really special pair of shoes for you today, plenty photos and lots to say, so I'll dive straight in. The shoes just launched on Friday, arriving yesterday and are my absolute dream shoe, I'm so in love.

Day 1054 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes:  Black Trixy unicorn heels Irregular Choice

Hello, another outfit post for you this week, from December. I think it must've been a doctors appointment. 50/50 chance of it being that or the dentist really! It's still frustrating that I'm only managing out of the house for medical appointments...now that I think of it, it was early December the last time I was out (this outfit).

12 Shoes Of Christmas - Day 9

How is the run up to Christmas going for you?  I feel like I'm getting somewhere now.  I ordered the last couple of things on Saturday, which surprisingly arrived today (though I could've done without the early morning text when they got to the local sorting office).  My cards are written and sent and my friend is coming on Wednesday night to pick up a present for her wee boy (Playmobil pirate ship) and my Auntie and Uncle during the day.  Now I just have to tackle the wrapping.  Might need some help on that one as my arms tire easily and I get frustrated when they start shaking and I end up in a tangle of twisted sticky tape and creased paper!

Day 1038 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Irregular Choice Tall Tail

A very special Shoesday Tuesday for you this week, featuring absolutely astounding shoes! I can't quite believe I own these, but last week I took the plunge and ordered the Tall Tail unicorn 'extreme' platforms by Irregular Choice (Gold Star) I'd been eyeing all summer. I admit I bought them purely for display purposes (the shoe room needs them) but didn't expect them to be quite so wearable. Yep, you read that correctly, you can actually walk easily in these.

Day 1002 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice coral Trixy unicorn heels
Shoes: Coral 'Trixy' Irregular Choice

I thought I'd photograph these for you before returning them, so you could see how they look on the foot (which by the way is GORGEOUS).  My original post on Pink Haired Princess has more info and images and I mentioned the sizing on there too, but I'll reiterate.

Day 998 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice cream One Who Charms
Shoes: Cream 'One Who Charms' Irregular Choice

Day 998 and I'm almost running out of new shoes to show.  Or at least those I can access.  I've been photographing in bulk, when I've been feeling up to it but ran out of photos.

Day 906 - This One Is For The Boys With The Booming System

Shoes: Unicorn tie cortesan Irregular Choice

A cardigan is a staple item for me, but with this warmer weather, I've wanted to ditch it. Looking at my wardrobe though, more often than not a cardigan is required (I spoke of this dilemma when I wore my cape last week). So I've been trying to pick outfits that don't need a cardi and yesterday that led me to my t-shirts. I'm most definitely a dress person, so don't wear tops or t-shirts often, but I have been giving them a try this year. One issue is that I don't have enough bottoms to pair them with! I have very few skirts and still haven't fixed my lace pencil one which shrunk (and the lining didn't) in the wash months ago. However this one is great for summer. Despite the busy print and colours, it works with so many of my t-shirts.  It's been a worthwhile sale purchase and I honestly never expected to get quite as much wear out of it as I have.

Wearing: Grey 'Henry Twins' t-shirt H by Henry Holland, scenic skirt Primark, flower hair comb Yama Yama Pretty Mama.
Fit: True to size, 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.
