Day 639 - I Don't Know Where My Soul Is

Shoes: Black 'Long Lashes' Irregular Choice

Back into my winter boots-I can't believe it!  I had on my gloves and scarf too and have been rubbing my hands together for warmth all day!  I forgot how much of a work-out for the legs these boots are.  They are big in the heel, but I tend to just let it slip off that little bit when walking, rather than straining and curling my toes trying to keep them on.  The base is strange; rounded and it's not like you're going to fall over in them, but they certainly change your walking style.  I just let them do what they want to do and don't try to change it, it's easier that way.

Wearing:  Floral dress H by Henry Holland, black leggings and cardigan Primark.
Fit: True to size but large in the heel. Heel just under 4", platform 1 3/4".
Comfort: Other than the funny walking method, no issues!

Day 638 - I Once Was Lost But Now Am Found

Shoes: Blue floral 'Lucite Lovely' Irregular Choice at Schuh

Saturday happened to be a pleasant enough day for me to force myself out of my jammies and get outside!  I can't quite believe it's May tomorrow though as it's freezing cold and miserable right now.  Not remotely Spring-like.  These shoes feature a lovely floral print and I adore the lucite bow, even if I am a bit worried at how wobbly mine are!

Wearing:  Pink floral pussy-bow dress Red Herring (Debenhams), black leggings, coat and sunglasses all Primark.
Fit: True to size, just under 4" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 637 - It May Be Rainin', But There's A Rainbow Above You

Shoes: Black 'I'm Bossy' Irregular Choice

Hello chickadees!  I wasn't sure how the weather would turn out today, it was supposed to be rainy and cold but actually it was bright and dry when I left the house.  My outfit felt a little wintery!  It rained much later, but I probably could've gone for something a little less...black!  I didn't have much time though, so it was a quickly thrown together outfit. Aren't these shoes just adorable though?

Wearing: Dotty dress Pearl Lowe for Peacocks, reverse spot tights, cardigan and bee ring Primark, blue stone ring my Granny's, horse and unicorn rings Miss Selfridge.
Fit: True to size, stud fastening, 4" perspex heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 636 - My Mind's Dirty And It Don't Need Cleanin'

Shoes: Black 'Toad In the Hole' Irregular Choice

See what I mean about the weather today? Faaaareezing and dark and rainy! It's ridiculous that I'm now back in fur lined boots, scarf, hat and gloves after being bare-legged with no coat and peep toes a few weeks ago. I totally needed it today though, it was that bad!  Anyway, it was a quick 5 minute outfit job and no make-up (soz about that!). This dress is super comfy though-so glad I bought it as I know I'll wear it loads in autumn and winter.

Wearing: Polka dot jersey dress Dorothy Perkins, dog print leggings H by Henry Holland, hat Primark.
Fit: True to size, inside zip, so no need to undo all the laces. Heel 4 3/4" and platform 1 3/4".
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 635 - Honey Got Me Runnin' Like I'm Flo Jo

Shoes: Yellow tartan 'Rainbow Bright' Irregular Choice

What a difference a day makes! As I'm writing this post, I'm shivering at the thought of wearing such a summery outfit! It's really, really cold, rainy and miserable when yesterday was sunny and suitably spring-like. As this dress has so many colours in it, there's a variety of shoes I can wear with it.  However, I was half-tempted to wear my Rosy green striped platforms for a second day running, as they looked fabulous with this dress and were still sitting out.  Then I remembered I had these yellow and green tartan heels, which as colourful as they are, completely mirror the colours in the dress.  They looked cute together I thought.

Wearing:  Flower-pot dress Dorothy Perkins, satin floral and paisley scarf and black leggings Primark, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit:  True to size, generally I find the 'cortesan tie' much roomier than the snug fitting cortesan courts.  4 1/2" heel.
Comfort:  No issues with these.

Day 634 - I'm In The Hole Like A Birdy

Shoes: Green striped platforms 'Rosy' Irregular Choice (Rosanna Gault) London College of Fashion

It's something of a pattern that I don't leave the house at weekends! Once again I spent it in my jammies, dealing with my eBay sales. I didn't sell much yesterday, so it's nice to have a bit of a break this week if I'm honest.  It looked like a lovely day this morning, so I decided to wear my Prada inspired Primark outfit, complete with adorable vintage cars (and even fluffy dice)!  The skirt is very flattering, it sucks your tummy in and the substantial lining makes everything very 'smooth'.  I actually spotted some tights on the Topshop website with a similar print, so I'm considering buying them too!  And if I ever owned a car it would be a pastel coloured vintage one!

Wearing:  Blue car print pleated skirt and top, pale blue vest worn underneath, black tights and blue bird scarf all Primark, black cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit:  True in length, a little tight across the foot.  5 1/4" heel and 1" platform.
Comfort:  I stretched these a little this morning by wearing them around the house with thick socks, but they are still a little tight across the foot (not uncomfortably so though), surprisingly easy to walk in.

Day 633 - Sadness Is Beautiful Loneliness That's Tragical

Shoes: Navy and gold 'Can't Touch This' Irregular Choice

Another day, another battle with photobucket!  Actually in fairness, I am finding it quite fun to use and am getting quicker at editing each pic.  After an hour or so though it starts to get tiresome and I lose interest.  I've completely neglected Pink Haired Princess (and Facebook and Tumblr and emails) this week, purely because there aren't enough daylight hours for me to arrange posts on both blogs, which is extremely frustrating.  I'm not sure how I can fit it all in as I'm working at it non-stop and I have absolutely no idea how real-working girls manage it.  I salute you!

Wearing: Key print dress H By Henry Holland, navy leggings Primark, boat cardigan Peacocks.
Fit: Almost 4" heel, adjustable buckle. Snug fit but I opt for my regular size.
Comfort: My only complaint is it's hard to find the holes in the dark fabric for the buckle (it's also navy on the reverse of the strap).
