Irregular Choice Festive Footwear 2022: Day 13

Every day until Christmas, I'll be blogging Christmas shoes from my Irregular Choice collection. Last time, I shared the new season Chimney Chum ankle boots and today I have something that feels festive but isn't officially Christmas. These are New Rules from AW18 and like Glitter Queen, weren't part of the Christmas collection but felt quite festive to me. A lot of that season did actually (must be the glitter). The deep teal shade feels very Christmassy as do the embellished stars and jewels.

The only thing that contradicts that Christmas vibe is the heel. It's also glitter but printed and feels too tropical to be a Christmas in this country! Can we talk about how cold it's been lately? Brrrr! I really like the frilled straps, though they fray a bit (I tried to trim the messy bits a while back).

I wore these once in the house at New Year, but haven't fit-reviewed them on the blog properly yet.
