Day 1233 - Shoesday Tuesday

Irregular Choice Love Is All Around
Shoes: Love Is All Around | Irregular Choice

These boots came out in SS18, but I think I picked them up in one of the Irregular Choice online hidden gems sales.  They are of course, based on a much older style known as Can Can, which also came in court shoe form.  Personally, I love the shape of the boot.  The heel is a lot shorter than I'd usually attempt, but the slightly weird shoe-boot shape, just draws me in.  That said, this style just aren't comfortable for me and I need to realise that!  I first had the black and white zig-zag patterned pair (iconic pattern, but I eventually sold them).  Then I bought the green paisley fabric with the swans on, in a size-up and they were the incorrect pair in the right box, so were actually 2 sizes bigger and had to be returned.  These I bought in my regular 5/38, but they're just not right on me.

Day 1196 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing bright purple metallic shoe with fawn heel and fishnet socks
Shoes: Paint A Fawn | Irregular Choice

Today, I have my second pair from the Paint Your Own Heel collection that launched at Irregular Choice the other week.  My cat heels from last week are reviewed here if you missed them.  Once more, I won't be wearing these as they are, I'll definitely be decorating them, I just haven't decided on what to do yet.  As soon as I saw them, I felt they were the ones most inspiring me and the cats less so, but actually I already have my cat concept and I'm now struggling a bit with these.  The uppers are amazing; this bold purple, actually more pinkish than the Cadbury purple they look here.  I can't think of any proper purple shoes I have from IC (or anywhere actually) and certainly not a character heel, so they really excite me in that aspect.  I'm just trying to think of something I can do to compliment such a vivid colour as I don't want to dull it down.  The glitter part is stunning and the main material is a textured croc-metallic.

Day 1179 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing galactic tights with silver pointed booties with large bow
Shoes: Power Surge | Irregular Choice

These shoe-boots are from the SS20 Lightning Bolt collection.  You may remember I bought the fluffy unicorn print Heavens Above and pastel Galactic Thunder on launch day, after struggling to decide my favourites in this range!  I was intrigued by these little booties, which also came in pink, black or turquoise.  After much deliberation, I decided the silver were my favourite and picked them up in the summer sale.  What drew me to these, were the pink heel as it was really different to my other 2 pairs which are mirrored metallic.  This one is not at all like I thought, I was expecting a shiny finish, but it's matte, rubberised, a bit like Nars makeup packaging.  I really love the bright rainbow slub throughout the silver fabric and they have a bit of an 80's electro vibe in style and colour.

Day 1132 - Shoesday Tuesday

bent leg in background, straight leg in foreground wearing floral patterned tights and Disney Toy Story shoes
Shoes: You've Got A Friend In Me - Irregular Choice Disney Toy Story

Hello gang! How are you all this week?  So last time, I showed you my You Are A Toy boots from the IC Toy Story collection and I mentioned I'd unexpectedly bought another TS pair...and here they are! Schuh have an imperfects section online with anything ranging from shop display fading, missing trims, scratches, breakages or irremovable marks on the items.  You can get really lucky-I think it must depend on who inspects/lists them, but sometimes the damage is minimal (and not worth discounting imo) and/or they are drastically reduced.  These were a lucky find before the sale had started, or so I and many others thought.  They were reduced a lot for a mark on the uppers that I couldn't even spot from the images.  Sadly someone else had them in their basket and until they checked out, they were reserved for them.

Day 1096 - Shoesday Tuesday

wearing irregular choice snuggle bunnie
Shoes: Irregular Choice Snuggle Bunnie

Hello lovelies, I'm feeling a bit stressed this week. This time of year usually is a bit frantic, what with present buying and more going on in general, but I just can't escape that feeling of there not being enough hours in the day to do everything I need to do. The amount I carry over each day on my to-do list is ridiculous! I felt so satisfied last week, rattling through all those Shoesday posts, but that feeling was short-lived. Hey ho, hope your week is faring better. Today I have another new season style to show you, Snuggle Bunnie. I wanted these from the get-go, for sure. I stalked them so bad until I had funds for them (or rather got to the point I was worried they were going to go and buckled and bought them). The only thing that slightly concerned me was the heel. It's a little lower than I'd usually go for and I say that having bought several lower (for me) styles over the past couple of years. I find I'm liking having a choice of heel heights and I've said this to you before, but the super high heels are appealing to me less these days. That said, I am finding these just a touch too low. An extra centimetre or two would make all the difference to me. Of course I'm being very choosy and actually in every other way these shoes are perfect.

Day 1094 - Shoesday Tuesday (Extra)

wearing irregular choice secret squirrel
Shoes: Irregular Choice Secret Squirrel

I'm back again for another squirrel instalment! How are you enjoying the daily Shoesday posts so far? These are the final squirrel heels I tried, so far you've seen Furry O Nutty which I'm keeping and Nibbles McNutty that I'm returning. This pair, Secret Squirrel, I really want to keep too, even although I told myself I could only have one. I knew it would be a hard decision. They are indeed another green pair, but once more completely different in style and the shade of green.

Day 1093 - Shoesday Tuesday (Extra)

wearing irregular choice furry o nutty
Shoes: Irregular Choice Furry O Nutty

Hello lovelies. Yes, it's not Tuesday, but I'm bringing you Shoesday styles all week long. "Get in", as my nephew would say! These are the second squirrel heels I have to show you, Nibbles McNutty from yesterday are here. This pair are called Furry O Nutty. Like seriously, can we talk about how brilliant these names are? I want them for that alone, without even seeing the shoe! Furry are unlike anything else in my collection, so definite keepers for me (my family were pretty adamant about it tbh). That's not to say I haven't seen something like them before. I'm going to put a photo up on Instagram later, it'll make you chuckle, but I basically rocked this style in 1984. As slippers of course, not shoes! Don't they remind you of baffies? I'm sure my Granny had very similar ones to these, minus the squirrel heel obviously!

Day 1061 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Irregular Choice Tea With Alice

Hola! Shoesday Tuesday again and I have another pair of Alice In Wonderland shoes to show you. You can find One Lump Or Two? here from last week or see the Alice heeled Flowers Can't Talk in more detail in this post, plus I updated the stockist list yesterday if you are still searching for some Alice styles.

Day 1056 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Black 'Pin Yin' panda heels Irregular Choice

I was raking around the shoe room today organising a list of shoes you haven't seen for future Shoesday Tuesday posts. I was quite surprised at how many there were to be honest! Wearing one a week, I have at least 7 months of posts. If I never bought another pair of shoes between then and now of course. That won't happen will it?! One style I no longer have, but checked, double checked and triple checked I hadn't shown here, was the black Pin Yin panda heels.

12 Shoes Of Christmas - Day 9

How is the run up to Christmas going for you?  I feel like I'm getting somewhere now.  I ordered the last couple of things on Saturday, which surprisingly arrived today (though I could've done without the early morning text when they got to the local sorting office).  My cards are written and sent and my friend is coming on Wednesday night to pick up a present for her wee boy (Playmobil pirate ship) and my Auntie and Uncle during the day.  Now I just have to tackle the wrapping.  Might need some help on that one as my arms tire easily and I get frustrated when they start shaking and I end up in a tangle of twisted sticky tape and creased paper!

Day 1041 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Pink 'Tian Tian' panda heels Irregular Choice

First of all, I can't believe I haven't shown you these yet!  I know I posted them on Pink Haired Princess, but I actually had to check the Shoesday Tuesday archives to ensure I wasn't posting twice!

Day 1023 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Tian Tian panda heels
Shoes: Black 'Tian Tian' panda heels Irregular Choice

A few weeks ago I wore this outfit to physio. I'd just bought my Tian Tian heels and was desperate to wear them...plus I'm running out of shoes that won't cause an avalanche on 'shoe mountain' by locating!

Day 1020 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Tian Tian panda heels and Knees Up leggings
Shoes: Black 'Tian Tian' panda heels Irregular Choice

I actually wore these shoes last week to physio (not this day), so I have more photos to come, but I thought this week, I'd show you the original images I took of them.

Day 1019 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Pin Yin yellow panda shoes
Shoes: Yellow 'Pin Yin' Irregular Choice

Hello! Here are the first of my new panda heels. I thought we'd start with the yellow.  After asking for your thoughts last week, I ended up more confused than ever on which colour to keep! Seriously!

Day 1016 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Abigail's Party Pink Bunny
Shoes: Pink bunny 'Abigail's Party' Irregular Choice

Yo, yo, yo, what up peeps?  Gah I don't know where yesterday went, it just disappeared.  Ok, so I did manage to do some pretty snazzy shizzle to my sidebar.  Check it out! A bigger, round profile photo, updated the blurb underneath and added social media buttons.  All things I've been meaning to do for ages, yet not much to show for a days work!  I still have more changes to make, but just have to do a bit at a time, when I get the chance.  Anyway it meant I left myself no time to prepare for today, which is usually a busy blog day with Shoesday Tuesday.

Day 1001 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Glissade
Shoes: Green metallic 'Glissade' Irregular Choice

I was torn with whether to end on a high with my 1000th post or continue until I ran out of shoes (which could be very soon). I never expected (10 months on) to still be incapable of getting dressed and posting regular outfits, but unfortunately that's the way it is just now. I really genuinely miss getting dressed up and more so, posting the photos here. I know it's not the same for you as it used to be and perhaps it's a little boring for new readers as it's natural to want to see more of a person than just the feet, but I just have to carry on doing what I am capable of for now.

Day 981 - But I Don't Really Like My Flow

Shoes: Pink bunny 'Abigail's Party' Irregular Choice

Oh boy, what a boring and stressful weekend that was! I woke up to discover we'd lost our internet connection. Obviously I was stressing because the internet keeps me sane and is also my only link to the outside world. Add to that the fact I had several eBay listings ending over the weekend (and no way of contacting any winning bidders or sending their stuff), a Tumblr queue of posts all in a muddle and these gorgeous shoes I'd been lusting after forever that I was finally going to buy when I got paid, I was having a little inner panic. We got in touch with our ISP and they sorted it out in 24 hours (some 'line' trouble from their end), but it was a looong wait. I missed out on the shoes (yep, gutted), the Tumblr thing wasn't too much of a disaster and thankfully it was fixed before my eBay sales. My family have been a nightmare because they constantly moan about me being on the computer 'all the time' (they have no idea of the amount of work I do-it's not like I'm playing Candy Crush all day) so they thought I was acting like a bear with a sore head (I actually wasn't) and they hogged the TV all weekend. Obviously if I was able-bodied I'd have gutted my room, but even reading magazines was proving too tiring. So I just sat around, listening to my music!  Anyway, internet is back, family still annoying, but here's my outfit from last week. I wanted bright colours in a bid to cheer myself up, but it didn't really work.  Wish I could get out of this rut.

Wearing: Floral sun dress and black leggings Primark, black cardigan Red Herring at Debenhams, patent belt taken from another dress, flower hair clip ASOS.
Fit: True to size. Heel just over 4".
Comfort: No issues with these and easy to walk in.

Day 975 - Take Me Home To The Place I Belong

Shoes: Metallic 'Sanai' peep toes Faith

I'm sorry the posts have been a little sporadic here lately. I seem to slog it out all day and haven't achieved anything by the end of it! Maybe I'm just out of my routine since Christmas. Anyway, this was Wednesday (I think) and I really wanted to wear something I haven't worn for ages as I've been feeling a little uninspired with my outfits. Cue these shoes. October 2011 was the last time you saw these apparently! 2011! It's funny how some things still avoid being sold/given away even if they haven't been worn for years. If you haven't already guessed, I don't really believe in those "if you haven't worn them for 'x time' you never will" rules, because these prove I can go years without, but still love wearing them. They're comfortable and kind of unobtrusive and reserved for me, which was a pleasant change. Plus they worked soooo well with this dress, perfect matching tones.

Wearing: 'Celia' dress and wine belt both Swan by Clements Ribeiro, black tights and polka dot coat Primark.
Fit: True to size, zip opening, 4 3/4" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 955 - Never Understood This Life

Shoes: Green lace 'Ella' Terry De Havilland

My Tumblr and Facebook pages got a peek at these shoes earlier in the week. However I've not been able to write the full post up until today. The shoes are amazing and well worth waiting for! One of my favourite pairs for sure. I kept the rest of my outfit fairly simple, aside from my sparkly hairband to cover a really bad hair day (it was so ridiculously soft it wouldn't do anything). I don't have much else to add really, so a short post today : )

Wearing: Crochet collar dress Pearl Lowe, black tights and hairband (limited edition) Primark.
Fit: True to size. Heel 5 1/4" and 1" platform.
Comfort: No issues with these, other than the laces are very 'slippy' and can come undone.
