Every day until Christmas I'm sharing some of my festive shoes from Irregular Choice. Yesterday was the amazing musical, Nutcracker and today I might just have the pair it all started with. My beauty post today shares the same year that these shoes launched. They are the Oz tinsel version, available in green or red in 2009. They launched alongside festive versions of Flick Flack and I reckon they were the first 'proper' Christmas shoes Irregular Choice released. Long before the character heels, snowglobes, music and lights that we're accustomed to now.

Oz are a style that have been made in various colours and materials in the mainline collection. I love the cutesy shape of these with the rounded toe and of course that carved, lucite heel. I paired these here with the Rad Reindeer Tights from 2021, but I've worn these shoes easily outside of the festive period. They don't feel overly Christmassy to me, which just makes them more versatile.
