Day Two Hundred & Fifty Eight - I Always Get It Wrong!

Every time I think this blog is coming to an end and I have no more shoes left to show you, I buy another pair and prolong it that little bit longer! One such pair are ankle boots, which is going to be awkward given the beautiful weather we have just now. I always seem to pick the wrong shoes for the weather though. Take today as an example-I should be wearing summery sandals, but instead I chose black peep toes. You have to take my word for it that these look a million times better in the flesh. The flash does strange things to the deep pink satin bow, as it now resembles cheapy shell-suit fabric-ewwww! I probably should've tried without the flash, except I didn't realise it looked so bad until I came to edit the images. I'll maybe re-take some better images tomorrow.
*updated with a slightly better image taken without the flash-no idea why my big toe is glowing white though!*

Day Two Hundred & Fifty Seven - Brighten Up

I bought 5 variations of these shoes in different colours, sizes and styles (ankle boot and court), but these are the only pair I have left now. They are pretty impossible to walk in and ache after about 1 minute, so I couldn't very well justify owning so many pairs that I would probably not get use out of. I love the bold colour of these and because my dress today is white and black, I felt it needed a splash of colour and between my hair and these shoes, I've certainly achieved that!

Day Two Hundred & Fifty Six - Still Going

I didn't do anything very exciting today, didn't even leave the house-although the day just seemed to get away from me. I threw on these shoes again and wore them with the bow this time. I actually like them both ways, although the leopard print adds a little 'something' to it.

Day Two Hundred & Fifty Five - Feeling Plush

And this is the other pair I purchased. Black velvet with pewter trim, heel and platform, worn here without the bow, which is detachable. I think I paid a massive £8.40 for this pair, how will my bank account cope?!

Day Two Hundred & Fifty Four - Frilly Filly

I bought another couple of pairs of Shoemissy peep toes last week. I didn't really *need* them, but Spoiled Brat are clearing their stock to make way for autumn arrivals and these shoes had 80% off, plus another 30% off (with the code SUMMER30 valid until midnight tonight), so they cost £7.53! Ridiculous and I couldn't not! I was a bit disappointed that the newer styles (ankle boots and sequin heels) had sold out of my size because I've had my eye on them for months. There are still some sizes left of around 8 styles, mostly smaller or bigger sizes. I recommend the beautiful pink Bucks Fizz which I wore on Day 225, they're gorgeous.

Day Two Hundred & Fifty Three - I'm Back!

Hi guys, I'm baaaack! Still feeling a little worse for wear, but got some fresh air today, which has done me the world of good-although tired me out at the same time! I went with my little nephews to a local farm this morning and had a delicious breakfast of a large fruit scone with freshly made jam and tea. I've also fallen head over heels (not down the stairs this time I promise!) with a little piggy. A 1 day old, tiny little pink thing with black spots, it was sooo cute, absolutely adorable and could've been mine for £50! I was unbelievably tempted, although only if it didn't grow into the large and rather ugly, smelly Mummy it had! Not quite sure what one wears to a farm, decided these were probably the most 'sensible' pair of shoes I own! Seeing as you've been shoe deprived for almost a week, here's multiple shoe shots today! Although I'm sure you will recall these beautiful booties from my Pink Haired Princess blog, because I raved about them when I bought them. If you aren't tempted to buy them after seeing these photos, what's wrong with you?!

A Little Break

Hi girls,
Unfortunately there won't be a post today and probably for the next few days due to a little accident I had last night. Managed to fall down the stairs in my house (practically the whole way!). My left side took the brunt of it, I'm badly bruised and hurt my shoulder, wrist and broke every nail off that hand trying to stop myself. Also hurt my right ankle which I'm annoyed about because it's my "good" ankle. I'm going to take it easy for a few days and know I won't be able to contort myself into the weird positions I do to take images for this blog. I'm really sorry and I'll be back soon, don't worry x x x

Day Two Hundred & Fifty Two - Or That Way?

As promised, here is the opposite of yesterdays look. Orange shoes with the black ruffle. I'm up and organised pretty early today for getting my hair coloured. At the moment it's a rather unattractive lemon shade and still with a hint of pink! God help you if you actually wanted to get rid of that colour, it's impossible! I'm so relieved about going back to pink, I'm sure I'll feel a million times better once it's done. Hope you have a good weekend x x x

Day Two Hundred & Fifty One - This Way?

I think I prefer to wear the black shoes with coloured frills as opposed to the coloured shoes with the black ruffle. It just looks more authentic. At least that's what I thought with the purple/black combo previously, so I'll wear the opposite of this tomorrow and you can let me know which you prefer.

Day Two Hundred & Fifty - The Beach

I'm just back from the beach, oooh get me! I should've been at Ascot today-how cool would that have been? However health wise, I'm not up to doing so, which totally sucks because I rock a hat! It's really, really warm and sunny here and the sky was practically clear and the water very blue. We rarely venture down onto the actual beach though, because I can't stand getting covered in sand, it just gets everywhere! Everytime I go to the beach, I think how lucky I am to have been brought up and live in such beautiful surroundings.

Day Two Hundred & Forty Nine - Dance The Night Away

A little bit of a slow start to the day, due to some technical problems. At first the computer mouse wouldn't work, then the keyboard. Thankfully, we had a brand new spare keyboard so I tried that and after a bit of fiddling around, everything is fixed, phew! These shoes are incredibly small made and I would say you have to definitely take a bigger size even if you aren't usually between sizes. It's surprising as my Prom Princess pair from Day 59 are a similar shape, yet my normal size fits perfectly. Naturally I have my eye on Once In Love from the Irregular Choice store, the updated equivalent of these.

Day Two Hundred & Forty Eight - Here We Go Again

I'm so pleased that I may have exhausted all options with these purple shoes. I've worn them with frills, without and today with the black frills. I also have the raspberry and orange ruffles, which I could at a push interchange, however they'd totally clash and I don't want to have to squeeze my feet into these another day! They felt slimmer than ever today and I had to sit down to take these images. Thank goodness the other colours are more generous and comfortable to wear! Also I'm not loving this combo as much as the black shoes with purple ruffle, are you?

Day Two Hundred & Forty Seven - 3rd Time Lucky

Just a quick one today-I'm absolutely shattered, just back from returning a load of dresses to River Island. These were my 3rd choice of footwear today, the first pair were uncomfortable, the second didn't look right, so I settled with these.

Day Two Hundred & Forty Six - Cartoon Vuitton

I bought these shoes ages ago, but haven't worn them outdoors yet because I bought them to DIY! I was pretty obsessed with the Louis Vuitton beaded, shaped heels last winter and wanted something similar and thought the circular shape of this heel was as close as I was going to get. I've been on the lookout for suitable beads or pearls ever since, but none have been quite perfect. I do have a bracelet knocking about that *may* be suitable, so that's my crafty job for next week. They are very cartoonish and remind me of the Jetsons for some reason! Can I also mention how much I love the 'real' buckle, so easy to fasten and very adjustable, yipee!

Day Two Hundred & Forty Five - Shine On

These are the ridiculously beautiful shoes I bought to wear to my friends wedding (that I can't wear now). I think it may be a blessing in disguise though because these definitely put the 'killer' into killer heels. It may not look like it in the photo, but your foot is practically vertical and your legs ache after only a few minutes. I'm sure wearing them for 5 minutes is better than a half hour workout! So I don't think I would manage the entire day and night in them. I love the jewels on the front that reflect blue and green and purple all around and a bow on the heel is always a winner with me!

Day Two Hundred & Forty Four - All Over Unicorns

Where has the time gone today? It started off very dull and I thought I'd wear a more wintery pair of shoes, then it really brightened up and was boiling later, so I had a change of plan! I'm sure some people (probably my older sister), think it's inappropriate for a 30 year old to wear a frilly, floral cotton sundress and unicorn covered shoes. I'm sure there are also many people who think these shoes are hideous. I'd like to say to them, as only a 30 year old can, "eat my shorts", tee hee! Slagging off unicorns on either of my blogs is blasphemy and I will not hear of it, now leave me to my shoes with unicorns inside, outside and even on the sole!

Day Two Hundred & Forty Three - Pretty In Pink

For the 5 minutes I wore these shoes today, they rubbed my heels and are now nipping like mad. I've worn them many times before and yet this is the first time they've bothered me. Anyway, I was pretty sad when I heard that Faith had gone into administration, they've been a solid fixture on the UK high-street for so many years and I've owned many pairs (you'd have thought my custom alone would keep them afloat!). Faith used to design a (traditionally pink) pair of shoes for breast cancer every year with proceeds of their sale going to the charity. These are the 2008 pair and I think they're ultra cute, loving the YSL style platform.

Day Two Hundred & Forty Two - Mixed Up

This is the first time I've whipped the ruffles off one pair of shoes to put on another and they look fantastic. What a difference in the sizing of these too, the black are much more comfortable than the purple which I can hardly stand up in! My black dress has little red and purple flowers, so my shoes coordinate perfectly. Hope you're all having a good week so far, even although it feels more like autumn than summer!

Day Two Hundred & Forty One - All Fall Down

Sorry it's late guys, I feel like I've been drugged today. I literally can't keep my eyes open and fell asleep this afternoon for 4 hours! Oh dear! My gorgeous poodle boots again, this time folded down...told you they were versatile!

Day Two Hundred & Forty - Caught In The Net

Can't quite believe we've reached Day 240, gosh that's such a lot! I'm struggling a bit now, I have to properly search to find a pair I haven't worn yet, every day. You're probably going to get a lot of 'special occasion' shoes in the following week because I've been saving them and never needed them, but I'm running out of shoes now! Today's shoes are pissing me off, because I can easily get one foot in, then the other won't zip up the back at all. It's ridiculous and really annoying, especially as I paid a fortune for them and love them! It seems to be the week of ill-fitting shoes so far!

Day Two Hundred & Thirty Nine - They've Got To Go

Killer shoes again yesterday, ouch! As much as it pains me, I'm going to have to give up these shoes, because they are never going to fit me. I'm a bit miffed because I have the entire catalogue of colours they made these in (and they fit), but it's silly to keep them, when someone else could get pleasure from them. I had a busy day yesterday although didn't even get dressed until 5pm!

Day Two Hundred & Thirty Eight - Prada and Primark

I've been up and out early today. Had to go into town to the bank because they have reason to believe my card has been "compromised". Whoever they think is to blame, hasn't actually tried to use my details yet, but it means another new card for me and no access to money until I get one. It's such a worry, but it's something that happens unfortunately and I already protect myself as best as anyone can, but aren't the tricksters always one step ahead?! Anyhow, I'm wearing my beloved Prada shoes today, a style straight from the SS08 catwalk! The wonderful fairy themed collection was a firm favourite of mine. I also have the silk stockings to match, but thought it might be overkill plus it's really warm today! I teamed these uber expensive shoes with a £7.50 Primark dress-I believe that's what they call 'eclectic' in the fashion world, tee hee!

Day Two Hundred & Thirty Seven - The Pink Side

Just a quick one today, lots going on (and not much of it good). The flash really washed out the colour of these shoes, so I had to take this image without it. Gorgeous soft uppers and I love the red sole.

Day Two Hundred & Thirty Six - Only The Half Of It

I used to think these shoes had an enormously high heel, but when I pulled them out today and looked at them, I was somewhat deflated and went 'Oh'! Ok, so it is still a 4 1/2" heel with no platform, but they didn't quite curve to the heights I'd remembered, plus the heel is a little more chunky. Of course this is all good, because it makes them easier to walk in, so I'm not complaining, I'm just surprised. I remember saving up for these for ages and praying they wouldn't sell out-I was super excited when I was able to afford them, so they'll always be a little special to me! It's a shame they didn't photograph very well today.

Day Two Hundred & Thirty Five - I Heart

Did another massive shopping spree in Primark today-if they stop making floral or lace dresses, I'll be a rich woman! I also popped into River Island to find the Miu Miu alike cherry heels that I recently blogged about, but no luck. So I went straight online when I came home and bought the pink pair along with 4 dresses. I'm not holding out much hope for the dresses fitting me, but then if they don't at least I can get a refund on the huge amount I've just spent! What happened to 'not spending my money all at once'? I'm hopeless! You'll probably remember these gorgeous shoes from Pink Haired Princess recently, I'd like to think of myself as the unofficial UK spokesperson for Harajuku Lovers!

Day Two Hundred & Thirty Four - Pretty Ribbons

I've been searching for these shoes for days! I've slightly rearranged my shoe storage and when I went to wear them last week, they weren't where I thought they should be. Today I've almost suffocated in my wardrobe searching underneath my dresses, then I reached onto the top of my wardrobe and a falling box of shoes narrowly missed my head! If I'm ever found unconscious in my room, you can tell my parents it's because of my dangerous shoe storage system-it's not the first time I've dropped boxes whilst reaching up. I need to get one of those cool little ladders or stools they use in old fashioned shoe shops!
