Back to the archive styles today and you'll likely recall I went crazy for this heel shape when it was released in 2017. I originally bought the mint Kir Royal and Tatsu ankle boot, going on to buy the black KR and then this style, Queenie, in pink and black. Neither colour I've shared here before, so here's the pink version, though it's more a dusky, mauve type shade to me in real life.

Day 1059 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Blue Blushing Bird flamingo heels Irregular Choice
I went a little photo crazy with the shoes this week, but I had a lot of good shots and there's so many things to look at on these. It's easier for me to photograph Shoesday Tuesday posts in batches, a few pairs at a time. Well I say "easier", there's nothing easy about twisting and bending into weird positions trying to take photos of your own feet! Yesterday I hauled out some shoes for said photos and I was sweating and shattered by the end of it and sore today. I'd be the same after one pair though, so I figure I may as well make it worth the pain!

Day 1057 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Black flamingo heeled 'Roseus' Irregular Choice
I thought this week you might be interested to see how the flamingo heels look on the foot. I've picked the Roseus boots, which I've definitely decided to return. Not because I dislike them, just because that was the deal I made with myself (to only keep one) and I have my eye on far too many other things this season to hold onto both.

Day 1042 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: True Love flashing heart heels Irregular Choice
I needed some time to recover this weekend, after a busy few days last week, with the arrival of these shoes. I managed a detailed blog post on Pink Haired Princess, a video of them flashing (yes, the heels actually light-up when you walk) and then this post. I like to forget I'm not actually able for all this (!), however my body has no such issues reminding me and the message was loud and clear this weekend (and still now)! Sore, aching body and tiredness aside, I do love when there's an exciting launch like this to occupy my time and give me something to focus on (the other 'big activity' was wiping the hard drive of my old PC, which was mind numbingly boring).

Day 1029 - Shoesday Tuesday
Shoes: Nude Mal E Bow Irregular Choice
I can count on the one hand the number of times I've left the house this year. Then, I had physio last week, a dentist appointment, which led to another (in the same week), then a few days later a trip to the doctor. With my birthday sandwiched in the middle!* Suffice to say I'm pooped! I'm not sure if I'll post all my outfits...well actually I might reenact the ones I didn't take photos of at the time, because it's more exciting when you see a wee bit more than shoes, isn't it?

Day 1015 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Irregular Choice Lammie
You'll probably know by now that I bought the latest character heel from Irregular Choice. The little lamb called 'Lammie' in white. Here's my post with loads of photos (and also the matching bag) if you haven't already seen it. Today though, you get to see them on the foot.

Day 955 - Never Understood This Life

Shoes: Green lace 'Ella' Terry De Havilland
My Tumblr and Facebook pages got a peek at these shoes earlier in the week. However I've not been able to write the full post up until today. The shoes are amazing and well worth waiting for! One of my favourite pairs for sure. I kept the rest of my outfit fairly simple, aside from my sparkly hairband to cover a really bad hair day (it was so ridiculously soft it wouldn't do anything). I don't have much else to add really, so a short post today : )
Wearing: Crochet collar dress Pearl Lowe, black tights and hairband (limited edition) Primark.
Fit: True to size. Heel 5 1/4" and 1" platform.
Comfort: No issues with these, other than the laces are very 'slippy' and can come undone.

Day 671 - You Carried Me Like A River
Shoes: Black lace 'Chica' Shoemissy
Shoes: Gold distressed 'Spatz' Irregular Choice Ooh what's this, a double shoe-post? Yes it freakin' is! Well yesterday was a bit of a bleugh day. It was lashing with rain, non-stop and we had someone fixing the downstairs toilet while two others were in the bathroom upstairs sorting the bath and tiles! It was kinda manic (cue me running around trying to get breakfast and get dressed without being caught in my jammies!), and Mum had already promised that we'd go shopping. Of course I wasn't keen to venture out in the rain, but was desperate to get away from the work in the house and just desperate to get out (it's been a long time since I've been shopping). I was wearing these shoes...then right before I left the house, I thought it was silly to wear them in rain (I mean it was torrential!). I grabbed the first pair of 'sensible' shoes I could find, even if I did already wear them with this dress back in March. I don't really have a rainy-day wardrobe at my fingertips! You may also notice I changed the rings on my right hand and instead wore my jewelled fox ring (Evans) and added my vintage-esque glasses. I was struggling for time for photos; couldn't take them anywhere I'd be seen by workmen (!) and the daylight had passed (if any) by the time we got home. I did get stopped by a girl in Debenhams who just had to tell me how much she loved my boots (she even knew they were IC) and then the rest of the dressing-room staff had to paw over them in agreement!
Wearing: Red lace collar dress H by Henry Holland, black leggings, spotty coat, cardigan, boat scarf, stag, owl and owls on branch rings all Primark, deer ring Topshop, spotty bag Gossipi, glasses Claire's and bow brooch my Granny's.
Chica shoes:
Fit: True to size, just under 4" heel.
Comfort: Didn't wear these shoes anywhere but can't see any issues with them.
Spatz boots:
Fit: True to size (the buttons do come out if you need to get on and off), 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: No problems with these and a nice cosy velvet lining!

Day 612 - I Just Want You To Father My Young
Shoes: Green lace 'Ella' Terry De Havilland
Whilst on the subject yesterday of most treasured shoes-it reminded me that these are another pair that I would do anything to 'save', if their life were in jeopardy! I just absolutely adore them and don't wear them enough (which is something I'm going to remedy, because there's no reason not to, they're so comfy and I think you should wear your fancy shoes whenever you want). Say 'goodbye' to my hair, which started the day like this (below) and ended up extremely blonde bordering on white (see FB or Tumblr for pic). Today I'm putting the colour on, I keep changing my mind between two ideas-so I'm not sure which I'll pick or if it will even work. I have to say the more I see the blonde, the more that's growing on me!
Wearing: Polka-dot dress New Look, cardigan, leggings and hat all Primark.
Fit: True to size. Heel 5 1/4" and 1" platform.
Comfort: No issues with these, other than the laces are very 'slippy' and can come undone (even in double knots as I found!).

Day 574 - I'll Go Wherever You Will Go
Shoes: Cream lace and spike 'Ella' River Island
I've been shopping today-I was just so desperate to get out of the house and go somewhere. I seemed to spend money but didn't really get much! A few new pairs of pj's, some jewellery and possibly a couple of dresses if they fit (didn't have energy to try them on). Anyway, I'll get that outfit up tomorrow, in the meantime, here are another pair of shoes I sold last weekend. These really broke my heart, especially as I had a lot of bother to buy them in the first place. In the end I managed to get my hands on both the navy and cream. They are covered with little lace, leather and metal flowers and some spikes in between. As I mentioned yesterday I'm just trying to be more strict and figured I hadn't yet worn these and did I really need both colours? Thankfully, they went for a good price otherwise I'd have been spewing, so it was worth it in the end (especially as it almost paid for a new pair of JC's)!
Wearing: No outfit post.
Fit: True to size. Heel just over 6" with 1 3/4" platform.
Comfort: Having tried these on again the other day I realised although the heel and platform are high, they are reasonably easy to walk in and you have a very cushioned insole under foot.

Day Three Hundred & Ninety Four - Kapow!
I fully intended to post something yesterday and got half dressed for going out then realised there was a mini storm going on outside! It's been so windy this week, but this was like 'blow you off your feet' wind combined with rain or sleet or something and I figured there was no point, so I just stayed in! It's freezing today and apparently we're getting snow this weekend....nooooo! I thought we were into spring now, no? I know some areas of Scotland have already had snow this week, but here we haven't seen the white stuff since early January and although it's not unusual for us to get snow in March, I figured with the early start it had at the end of last year and the volume we had, it was going easy on us this year! I may have to break out the winter boots this weekend, we'll see!
Wearing: Extreme boobage in this dress, hence the lack of photos above the waist!! However I covered up with a cardi, both Primark along with the leggings.
Fit: These boots are so difficult to zip up, you need like 4 hands! I eventually managed and once on, they're not too tight actually. They could do with being a little bit bigger, maybe a half size. 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: I felt them rubbing the top of one of my toes only on one foot! The length and shape of toe means your toes aren't squished at the end which I like though. Really easy to walk in.

Day Three Hundred & Ninety One - Look Around
Ah you've got to love a shoe that has it's own glow, right? I can't say they were entirely comfortable to wear on my walk though. They have small rubber pads in the soles and grit (yep, still from last year) got stuck to the soles and accumulated making the base really wobbly. I kept having to stop and scuff it off as best I could to prevent an accident! The pavements are a disgrace here in general though, I spend my time avoiding dips, holes and hills! I doubt the local council would consider resurfacing them due to hazardous conditions when wearing platforms though!
Wearing: Grey lace prom dress, black leggings and cardi all Primark. Pegasus brooch on hat Miss Selfridge.
Fit: Back zip, probably true to size, I grabbed a size larger but they are quite big on me. Huge mirrored 1 3/4" platform and 5 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Quite difficult to walk in because your foot tries to lift out as you walk but the uppers prevent it (due in part to them being slightly too big I reckon). The back zip on one foot started to rub my heel almost immediately.

Day Two Hundred & Nineteen - An Irregular Choice
Totally bonkers shoes today, haha! You can't really see all the details from every angle, but I tried to capture it as best as I could in one shot. I'll post a pic of them on Pink Haired Princess for you later. They are pale blue courts with real lace and little gems. They also have this strange section of irregular-oval shaped pink bits, which you can play around with until you get them sitting the way you'd like. It's definitely that section that make them 'Irregular Choice'!

Day Two Hundred & Seven - To Buy Or Not To Buy?
Hello lovelies! I'm still undecided with my next shoe purchase. Once I make my mind up that I will get them, I chicken out again, aaagh! The shoes in question are by Charlotte Olympia, a designer that I admire and I've always really wanted to own a pair of her shoes. I could afford them and although it wouldn't bankrupt me, it would leave me struggling slightly for yet another month. I really like them and it's a good deal on them (not to mention they're the only pair left in my size), but then there are other designer shoes that I could spend less on (although they perhaps aren't as lustworthy). So, do I take the plunge or not? I'm still eyeing up plenty of other shoes including the blue Bambino by Irregular Choice-I love the floral heel on it (wish my pink pair had that).

Day Two Hundred & Four - Electric Shower
I can't get used to writing "Day Two Hundred...", I keep writing "one" then have to delete it! It's been so pretty and sunny here today, although 20 minutes ago we did get loud thunder and heavy showers! I adore these boots and once they are on my feet, they fit perfectly. However getting them on is a major problem. I can't do it without unzipping them, but once they are on my feet, I struggle to get the zip in-it's ok getting the zip up though. So it took me about 15 minutes to get them on, to wear them on my walk for 5 minutes! They are pretty difficult to photograph too because of the bright and metallic colours, but hopefully this is a decent enough shot.

Day Two Hundred & One - Bow-tiful
Thank you for all your kind comments and emails yesterday! Been waiting in all day for my River Island Design Forum shoes to arrive and they finally have. I'm so excited, they are absolutely stunning, beautifully made and worth every penny. I also made the right decision to buy them when I did, because the size 5's are gone now! I just hope the other pair I like, don't sell out before next week, because I must have them too! Gorgeous shoes today, I used to love going into Shelly's in Glasgow-it was such a massive shop and I never left empty handed.
