Day 815 - I Will Be Late, Don't Stay Up And Wait For Me

Shoes: Pink leopard platform 'Wilma' boots Senso Diffusion at Solestruck

I almost forgot I had these booties, I haven't worn them for ages. I remember when I first purchased them, seeing them on a blog with a completely monochrome outfit and they looked so striking against the black and white. I thought I might try that yesterday and was initially looking for my Dorothy Perkins 'lace' printed dress, but found this instead (one of these days my wardrobe will actually engulf me, it's so full and so difficult to find anything). I liked the look, just a shame the boots are as flexible as cardboard (!) and therefore not very comfortable against bare ankles (probably not helped by the fact they are bigger than I'd usually wear). I got home with the skin rubbed off my ankles and bleeding a little, thank goodness I didn't wear them any longer or it would've been an even bigger mess!

Wearing: Scribble heart peter pan collar dress F&F at Tesco, black leggings and polka dot coat Primark, cardigan Bonmarche.
Fit: These are a US9 and quite roomy inside for me, but there's just enough room for me to get them on and off. Platform 3.5cm and heel 5 3/4".
Comfort: Can rub at the ankles.

Day 526 - The Other Side

Shoes: Pink leopard platform 'Wilma' boots Senso Diffusion at Solestruck

Hello! Hope you're enjoying the weekend. This outfit is from last Tuesday. I had some money on my Debenhams Beauty Card that was due to expire so popped through to get some goodies. It was a brill shopping trip actually, other than the bus journey home (a little bit of a nightmare) but I got loads of fabby things. I'm going to seriously try and get my wear out of these boots this winter. They cost a fortune with customs and p&p back when I bought them and I've only had the opportunity to wear them a few times since, so expect to see a lot more of them over the next few months. The only note about my outfit is; I switched the blue and turquoise rings around (after taking the pics), the latter is quite big for me and I decided it felt and looked better on my index finger. The ring finger of my left hand is actually two rings, both of which I'm sure you've seen here before, the pearls and large cone like jewel belong to the one ring and the other stone is a separate ring.

Wearing: Black patterned jersey dress Ruby Rocks, black leggings Primark, shoe pendant gift, blue corsage in hair gift, silver rose ring Matalan, pewter bug ring Primark, blue jewel and silver/turquoise rings my Granny's, other rings gifts.
Fit: These are a US9 and quite roomy inside for me, but there's just enough room for me to get them on and off. Platform 3.5cm and heel 5 3/4".
Comfort: Can rub a little after a while, but nothing too bad.

Day Three Hundred & Eighty - In The Pink

Shoes: Pink leopard platform 'Wilma' boots Senso Diffusion at Solestruck

If you follow my facebook page you'll have been given a sneak peek (and exclusive image) of the shoes I was wearing today (you can find my page by clicking the button to the side >>>). I figure I need to wear these boots as often as I can before it gets warmer and they always make me feel fabulous. Outdoors they are just sooo bright-stunning! I tried to show you them from a different angle today.

Wearing: Off-white and black lace bow dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, black tights, double flower ring (the smaller of the two) Miss Selfridge and single ring (but double flower-complicated huh?) Primark along with the usual layers.
Fit: These are a US9 and quite roomy inside for me, but there's just enough room for me to get them on and off. Platform 3.5cm and heel 5 3/4".
Comfort: Not the comfiest shoes I've ever worn, but there weren't any specific issues I had with them.

Day Three Hundred & Sixty One - It's A Jungle

Shoes: Pink leopard print Wilma boots Senso Diffusion from Solestruck

As I mentioned yesterday, we went out for a family lunch on Sunday. Pancakes, yum, yum! Then I popped into a local shop to browse their range of Melissa footwear. Half the styles they stocked I already own, so I realised I probably shouldn't purchase any more (even if they were in the sale). I was quite tempted with the original Vivienne Westwood 'Lady Dragon' in blue or peach though. I decided these boots deserved a proper outing, seeing as they didn't get any further than my back garden last time. Outdoors they are extremely neon, like really, really bright. I think because the rest of my outfit was pretty much black, it had that added oomph! I've never had the chance to wear this dress either, yep it's that lace collar one everyone went crazy for.
Wearing: Black pleated and cream lace peter pan collar dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, black tights, mirror brooch Topshop, mirror ring (not seen) and velvet bow ring Miss Selfridge, jewelled tiger bangle and swallow clutch bag (not seen) River Island.
Fit: You're bound to know the sizing issues with these by now (if not search on PHP). These are a US9 and quite roomy inside for me, but there's just enough room for me to get them on and off. Platform 3.5cm and heel 5 3/4".
Comfort: Not the comfiest shoes I've ever worn, but there weren't any specific issues I had with them.

Day Three Hundred & Forty Two - Wilma's Rainbow

Senso Diffusion pink cheetah WilmaShoes: Pink cheetah Wilma ankle boots Senso Diffusion via Solestruck

My favourite art teacher used to say "if a job's worth doing once, it's worth doing properly", so with that in mind, I decided if I were to clash these shoes with some tights, I would have to properly clash them and that I did! The tartan also ties in with St Andrews Day which is coming up. It kinda works I reckon, what do you think? I had to go outside to take photos because the bright colours aren't working indoors with this lack of daylight! It was absolutely freezing for the 10 minutes I was out there! I finally found the best setting on my camera for this light just as I couldn't stand any longer, so only one decent pic! More pics to come soon on Pink Haired Princess though!

Wearing: No outfit post, pink tartan footless tights (gift)
Fit: You have to read my post on Pink Haired Princess. I bought a size up and struggle to get them on and off, but once on they feel true to size (and therefore slightly roomy).
Comfort: I didn't go anywhere in these, so can't really comment!
