Day 1153 - Shoesday Tuesday

legs wearing turquoise Muppets print tights with blue sequins shoes with perspex heel
Shoes: Blue I Had To by Irregular Choice

I'm blogging! It's been a couple of weeks since I managed a Shoesday post here. A couple of months since I've done anything on Pink Haired Princess, but that seems a bit big to tackle just now.  I've really been struggling with energy this year, so it's been too difficult to manage blogging as well as posting daily on Instagram with the #365daysofIrregularChoice challenge. These shoes were one pair I showed this month as I'm doing a Valentine's theme for the whole of February and I thought to myself "I don't think I've ever featured them on Shoesday". A quick check back and I hadn't. These photos were actually taken in January 2018 after I'd bought the shoes in the sales. The light was a bit funny (seems like it was a very sunny January day) and maybe that's why I ignored them for so long, but I thought I'd use these photos rather than the recent ones I took for Instagram (pale pink fishnets then), so you have something different to see. I rather like them with these Muppets tights actually.

Day 1150 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Rum Punch Irregular Choice

Last week's Shoesday photos didn't go to plan, so I decided to scrap that post and start afresh for this week. I got a massive delivery last Monday of loads of new Irregular Choice shoes from their Hidden Gems sale. Nothing super special, but things I've had my eye on for ages, but never been able to buy because instead my money goes on the limited releases; character heels, Disney and the like. Rum Punch have been on my list for a long time. I love it when IC invent a new heel shape, they've had lots of interesting ones over the years and this is super weird and brilliant. From the back view, they look like standard stiletto heels, but turn sideways and you'll see they are almost wedge like. Not at all what you expect! If you stand from a front-side view, they do genuinely look like wedge heels (2nd image below), it's freaky.

Day 1108 - Shoesday Tuesday (Extra)

"What's this?" I hear you ask, Shoesday Tuesday on a Friday? Well seeing as this collection has just gone live and I know how tricky it can be when you don't know which size to buy online, I thought you'd want the fit information on these as soon as possible.

Day 1070 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Bunnie Love Irregular Choice

Shoesday Tuesday on a Wednesday, what's happening? Well I had a lot going on yesterday and though I seemed to tick many things off my to-do list, I still found myself writing this post at midnight, while checking my emails and catching up on Person Of Interest from the night before. I'd been up early and I decided it was silly, so shut the laptop, switched off the TV and went to bed. I do apologise that it's a day late.

Day 1041 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Pink 'Tian Tian' panda heels Irregular Choice

First of all, I can't believe I haven't shown you these yet!  I know I posted them on Pink Haired Princess, but I actually had to check the Shoesday Tuesday archives to ensure I wasn't posting twice!

Shoes: Peach 'Take A Bow' Irregular Choice

Another outfit post for you this week, rather than just shoes. I figured I may as well work my way down the very long to-do list! I wore this back in May when I had a dentist appointment, remember I had two outings in the same week, then fell sick and thus the blog break began! Speaking of, I'm really happy that I'm managing to blog regularly again, I'm still not up to speed (I will get back to reading your blogs very soon), but I'm coping-ish.

Day 1026 - Shoesday Tuesday

striped floral and lilac glitter ankle boots on feet
Shoes:  Pink 'Dolly Mixture' Irregular Choice

Ah ok, so this was supposed to be Shoesday Tuesday last week, but well, that never happened.  I've been so busy today that I almost ran out of time, again!  I'm sure you'll agree, it was worth waiting for though.

Day 1002 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice coral Trixy unicorn heels
Shoes: Coral 'Trixy' Irregular Choice

I thought I'd photograph these for you before returning them, so you could see how they look on the foot (which by the way is GORGEOUS).  My original post on Pink Haired Princess has more info and images and I mentioned the sizing on there too, but I'll reiterate.

Day 988 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Mouse Trap cat heels
Shoes: Cream 'Mouse Trap' Irregular Choice

Happy Tuesday! How are you all? I'm feeling thankful that my iron infusions are (hopefully) over and that I didn't feel icky yesterday at my final one. It seems I'm getting the hang of the cannula at the last gasp!

Day 934 - I Don't Know How You Do What You Do

Shoes: Peach 'Take A Bow' Irregular Choice

Bit of a colour clash with the hair and peach of this outfit, but I rarely (if ever) have hair to harmonise with peach. Hence why although I own some lovely peachy items, I don't wear them often. The jacket is quite boxy and unfortunately detracts from the lovely waist on this dress, but sometimes you feel like a change from a black cardigan. This was one of those days.  I love the dress, it's a really good fit for me and the kissing birdies are so cute! The shoes are fabulous too, quite an old style from Irregular Choice and one I can remember lusting after for ages before I finally got this pair. I'm getting used to the shorter hair...this is almost as long as it goes (a teensy bit longer when straight).  I'm also becoming obsessed with this beautiful sparkly eyeshadow I've been wearing this week (the lightest colour in the Dior Mystic Metallics '384 Bonne Etoile' quad). It's sooooo pretty!

Wearing: Kissing birds dress, bolero and leggings Primark.
Fit: True to size, just over 4" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 895 - My Heart Breaks A Little When I Hear Your Name

Shoes: Turquoise & Coral Heart 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood Anglomania & Melissa

Well, here's the new hair colour!  It happened a day later than expected, because I haven't been keeping very well this week. Yesterday though, I got to unpin my hair and see what it really looked like! It's very similar (if not identical) to how it used to be (circa 2011) when I still had pink in the ends of my hair and did a full head of Atomic Turquoise (which turned the ends purple). This time though, I had to use Ultra Violet on the ends which were still a light lilac/grey shade and Crazy Color 'Bubblegum Blue' mixed with Atomic Turquoise for the rest of my head. It was a bit of a plaster as I usually pile my hair up onto my head as I'm colouring, but the ends had to be left down to get an idea of where to apply the purple, but the effect was worth it. You can't see much of the purple here because my hair was really curly and therefore shorter but I'm sure on other days when the ends hang down a bit and I don't have a huge (but OMG how freakin' beautiful?) flower obscuring it, you'll see it better!

Wearing: Neon floral dress H By Henry Holland, black leggings Primark, leopard belt Dorothy Perkins, lily hair clip ASOS (part of set).
Fit: 4 1/4" heel, adjustable slingback, true to size.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 891 - What Really Hurt Me Is I Broke Your Heart

Shoes: Turquoise & Coral Heart 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood Anglomania & Melissa

A beautiful day today and you can probably tell these shoes were the inspiration and starting point for the whole outfit. I wouldn't usually think to pair turquoise with coral or peach, but seeing as both colours are in the shoes, I played on it for the rest of my look. This dress is a couple of years old, but I still really love it, it's one of those feel-good dresses, even if you do get an eyeful of your own cleavage every time you look down! The little jacket I don't wear very often, because the colour and style are tricky to work into my wardrobe, but it looked pretty with this dress. My hair is desperately needing re-coloured, so I disguised as best I could with an oversized bow my friend made for my birthday.  The makeup completely clashed, but it is Monster High Monday today and I didn't plan the two together!

Wearing: Floral shift dress Dorothy Perkins, floral bolero Primark, skull bow gift.
Fit: 4 1/4" heel, adjustable slingback, true to size.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 883 - There's Nothing More Dangerous Than A Boy With Charm

Shoes: Turquoise & Coral Heart 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood Anglomania & Melissa

Well here's what I'm going to call my 'birthday outfit', even if it was a couple of days afterwards.  Most of you will have read what happened that day, if not...I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch and got stood up!  I spent hours waiting in this outfit not knowing I'd been stood up (which is even worse really).  How could someone be so cruel when my hair was sitting all cute, my makeup was splendid, my outfit was so pretty and the sun was shining?  How, whyyyyyy?? I am indeed only joking and not that full of myself ; )  One of the good things about having a blog though, is that at least it wasn't all completely for nothing, because you get to see and critique it and we can believe we all spent the day happily together eating birthday cake, no?  I hadn't realised I'd worn these shoes with this dress before actually, but looking back, I did in September last year.  My hair was green, I wore a belt and my jewellery was all different thankfully, so it's not exactly the same.  I can see myself wearing this hair-clip my sister got for my birthday a lot.  It's quite long and I love when my hair is swept up to the side like that.  It's cute.  And you missed it friend!

Wearing: Pansy 'Peggy' dress Swan by Clements Ribeiro, blue camisole Primark, jewel hair clip gift, parrot ring Miss Selfridge, flower frog ring Evans, spike ear cuff ASOS, kitty bow brooch Plastic Bat.
Fit: 4 1/4" heel, adjustable slingback, true to size.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 872 - Here Comes The Hotstepper

Shoes: Quilted 'Phoenix' ASOS Premium

Today I bring you my outfit from Monday. I'm just back from a wee holiday (an overnight stay counts as a 'holiday' right?), so I'm pretty excited about outfits that will have a different backdrop to usual! Back to Monday though and man I was a sickly wee thing that day! It was either allergies or a one-day-cold, but I resembled Rudolph and sniffled and sneezed my way through the day. The last thing I felt like doing was getting dressed and wearing makeup, but I'm a dedicated blogger and stopped every 10 seconds to plug my nose then fake smile for photos! It was quite funny because I finally figured out my holiday wardrobe, only to burst the zip on my Making Moves (Irregular Choice) shoes that I was taking (the fabric part of the zip has split and come away from the seam). I actually started crying! I don't cry over stuff like that usually, but it was one of those days and they are one of my favourite pairs : ( Back to this outfit and I forgot I owned these shoes, I used to looooove them. They are pretty high, but bearable and easy enough to walk in.

Wearing:  Stars and moon dress H By Henry Holland, leggings and coat Primark.
Fit: Premium styles tend to be smaller made, I needed a full size up in these. Heel 4 5/8", lace up front.
Comfort: Would probably ache after a lengthy wear, but were easy enough to walk in.
