Day 1258 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Ava's Aviary | Irregular Choice 

An oldie for you today as I've not been able to take new photos.  Last week, I reviewed my bargaintastic camo Quartz Order if you missed those.  We're heading way back to 2017 today with the birdcage heels.  I took these photos in 2019, so even they're old!  It's actually making me quite sad seeing these, as there's absolutely nothing of this level at IC for me now or lately.  For several seasons, I've been struggling to get excited about the styles, they're doing nothing for me.  Heels are low, colours and themes aren't my bag and shapes just aren't what they used to be.    

Day 1121 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Irregular Choice blue and pink birdcage Maya boots 

I have the very latest character heel from Irregular Choice to show you today. I've just reviewed them in more detail on Pink Haired Princess, so head over there afterwards for that. I said there that they are a similar shape to my Glissade or Call Me Cinders in the foot, though obviously these are a taller boot. They hit mid-calf on me and I bought them in my usual size (5/38) after much deliberating. Both those other styles I sized up in, hence the dilemma. Glissade were super small and just fitted in the bigger size, CMC were more generous, so a little bit of wiggle room in the size up. I've been finding IC big lately (mostly) and I figured with the zip and laces, I could fiddle around until they fit.

Shoes: Irregular Choice Cinderella Faith In Dreams 

Hello, how are you today? Last week wasn't a particularly good week, so no Shoesday Tuesday or TSGSI posts, but today I have my new Cinderella shoes. They launched on Friday and I placed a couple of orders (3 styles) with different places (as one pair had gone by the time I got to the front of the virtual queue). So I had two pairs arrive on Saturday (gotta love the £1 next day delivery with Schuh) and then I placed another order as I was a bit unsure of sizing on the pairs I received. One of those (in the size I needed) wasn't available for next day delivery, so they came today, but the other arrived on Sunday. My IC order was dispatched yesterday so should be here tomorrow.

Hello! Here are the first of my new panda heels. I thought we'd start with the yellow.  After asking for your thoughts last week, I ended up more confused than ever on which colour to keep! Seriously!

Day 508 - Pretty Natural

Shoes: Pink swallow 'Chelsea' Head Over Heels

This is when I miss my camera-I loved my makeup this day, it was so pretty but unfortunately that doesn't really come across with pics from my phone. I used one of my favourite eyeshadows, Pout 'Miss Canada' duo, with lovely soft nude lips (MAC 'Innocence, Beware!' lipstick) and fresh peachy cheeks (MAC Hipness). I kept the outfit and shoes pretty and soft too. I must start to take photos earlier in the day though because it's getting sooo dark now. These were taken around 4pm and the light was going fast-it's pitch by 7pm (which will be 6pm in a couple of weeks, scary)! I may just manage some 'real' photos tomorrow as I borrowed my sisters Lumix camera today for some haul shots and it's damn fabulous. It worked a treat on close-ups of cosmetics, so hopefully I'll manage to snap something decent of my feet.

Wearing: Black and nude-rose chiffon babydoll dress ASOS Curve, black leggings and cardigan Primark, Fafi Loves MAC headscarf.
Fit: True to size, adjustable buckle and elasticated strap, 4" heel.
Comfort: No issue with these.

Day Four Hundred & Twenty Four - Happy Easter

Shoes: Pink swallow print mary-janes Shoesone

Happy Easter! Hope you're having a good day whatever you're doing. As they say in Scotland, I could boak-way too much chocolate (but it tastes so good), I've decided it's impossible to diet during Easter! Wore my ankle socks again today as they seemed to be a hit last time, they look pretty adorable with my replica Miu Miu's!

Wearing: Cream lace dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, black leggings and coat Primark, cream lace ankle socks H&M, skull cameo pearls Miss Selfridge, sunglasses ASOS.
Fit: Run small, I need a size larger, buckle strap is adjustable. Platform around 1 1/4" and block heel 4 3/4".
Comfort: A really solid base to walk on and very comfortable with the socks.

Day Three Hundred & Ninety Three - Hard To Swallow

We had a bit of an accident yesterday-I say 'we' but mean 'Mum'! She was tidying up and pulled out a piece of furniture which pulled out the plug from the wall attached to the computer right when I was in the middle of editing photos and on the internet! When she put the power back on, I restarted everything and the screen wouldn't come on. Needless to say I was fuming and have been sulking like a 3 year old ever since! We're back up and running today though, albeit a little late-phew! I'm not a gadget girl at all, but I really rely on the internet and computer!

Wearing: Decided to go all out Miu Miu inspired! Swallow print swing dress Matalan, grey stirrup leggings and sunglasses Primark. Hair an absolute nightmare as I washed it without conditioning in preparation for colouring my hair and I've never had time to do it, so it's a mess!
Fit: I needed a size larger in these, buckle strap is adjustable. Platform around 1 1/4" and block heel 4 3/4".
Comfort: A really solid base to walk on, toes feel a little crushed or numb after a while.
