Day 852 - But My Eyes, My Eyes, My Eyes Are Like A Telescope

Shoes: Blue spot 'Flopsy' Irregular Choice

It was a beautiful day yesterday and I'd already decided it was the day for my first bunny outing (thank goodness it wasn't snowing then!). My sisters and youngest nephew and I went out for a birthday lunch for my Mum. It was crazy busy because of the holiday weekend, but we managed to get a table and lunch was nice. My shoes caused quite the stir, I found it was mainly boys staring at my feet! I even had a girl chase me for a photo (she pretended she was taking a photo of her sister, but followed my feet around instead), it was quite funny! I had a few ideas of dresses I could wear beforehand, but it wasn't until I was looking through my wardrobe and spotted this, that I thought it would be perfect. It's a summery dress, so I haven't worn it with tights before, but it worked ok and the skirt is so full and lovely, it really complimented the shoes.

Wearing: London print prom dress River Island, black cardigan Bonmarche, tights Primark, black patent bow belt taken from another dress, Sindy in Paris bag Helen Rochfort, pony and pearl rings gifts, turquoise ring my granny's, flower ring Matalan, flower hair comb Yama Yama Pretty Mama, pearl and pom pom Love necklace Harajuku Lovers.
Fit: I find my regular size short in length (despite the measuring the standard size), so for comfort I'm wearing the size up although they do feel a little big.
Comfort: The metallic lining snagged my tights, but didn't feel rough or uncomfortable, easy to walk in.

Day 851 - Sometimes I Wonder If It's All Worth My While

Shoes: Leopard print 'Kitten' Irregular Choice Loves Heatherette

I had another trip to try and find the MH doll I want today.  Twice in one week is a bit excessive for me, although in saying that I was literally 5 minutes in the shop and sitting on the bus the rest of the time (and the walking was no more than my usual walk).  It's been beautiful and sunny here today (no, really!) and I needed my sunglasses the whole journey through.  Then when I got off the bus....proper snow!  I wasn't really prepared for that, so had to wrap my scarf around my head to protect my hair from getting wet (!) and I was absolutely white by the time I got inside.  Exactly the same on the way back...coming home to bright sun, strange! I'm thinking of wearing my Flopsy bunny shoes tomorrow, any ideas on what to wear them with?

Wearing:  Neon floral dress H By Henry Holland, black leggings Primark, cardigan Bonmarche, all rings Topshop, quilted bag Love Moschino, hair flower gift, tan belt taken from another dress.
Fit: True to size, 4" heel, slip on.
Comfort: Really easy to walk in and comfortable.

Day 850 - Sometimes Good Intentions, Don’t Come Across So Well

Shoes: Green bunny 'Abigail's Party' Irregular Choice

I have lots of bunny themed shoes, so many that I should really have been wearing them all week in the run-up to Easter. I was looking for my I'm Bossy turquoise shoes today, but found this bunny shoe-boot instead and randomly discovered this dress lurking beneath a massive pile of clothes. I haven't worn it for years and didn't even know I still had it, oops.  It looked lovely and bright today and for once I don't think we've had any snow (wowee), but I was so sore and knackered from yesterday I wasn't too keen to get dressed and go out.  I did though as it seemed like a waste of a nice day, it was much colder than it looked though, freezing in the shade.

Wearing: White floral dress with belt Dorothy Perkins, cardigan Bonmarche, leggings Primark.
Fit: True to size (although I find the newer styles (like these) a smaller fit), just over 4" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 849 - I Know Your Every Move Before You Even Breathe Baby

Shoes: Black and gold strawberry 'Moonlight' Miss L Fire

A later post tonight because I've been off shopping (by myself) today and downloading/ripping songs onto an mp3 player for my Dad tonight! That part was boring, but today (although I'm aching all over and shattered), it was very nice to get out on my own and seeing my current financial situation is rather dire, it was bargain shopping all the way and not much for myself I might add! It's my little sister's birthday in a couple of weeks, so I managed to find lots of things for her; when the whole trip was to track down a Monster High doll I was after (but they'd sold out). So I went for comfort and warmth outfit wise and after adding my hat, scarf, long gloves and coat, I was sweltering!  I didn't realise I'd used different frames on the first two images below until I checked back over this post-that's what you get for abandoning a job halfway through and forgetting what you were doing!

Wearing: Spotty tea dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, black fleece tights Primark, unicorn and rabbit rings Topshop, other rings my Granny's, quilted bag (just seen) Love Moschino.
Fit: True to size, 3 3/4" heel.
Comfort: These have been known to rub at the heel before, but were fine all day. Quite a low heel for me!

Day 848 - It’s All Talk, Talk, Talk, Talkin' In The Wind

Shoes: Taupe 'Saflufy' Faith

I thought it was a lovely day today with no snow but apparently it was white before I woke up. Then later we had a few very heavy snow showers. Thankfully it's disappearing as quickly as it falls and although snow at the end of March is unexpected and slightly annoying, I can live with it so long as I can still get out and about. I'm at least getting my wear out of my boots this season! This dress is just so beautiful, I only wish it went with more in my wardrobe, it's a little difficult to style in that sense.  I teamed it with leggings this time, it feels a little short with tights but a little long with leggings.

Wearing: Ballerina print dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, leggings Primark.
Fit: True to size, 4 1/4" heel, fully lined and lace up front.
Comfort: Easy to walk in, no problems.

Day 847 - You Got The Wrong Song Coming Through Your Speakers

Shoes: Grey brocade thigh high 'Teena' boots River Island

Hello peeps! For some reason ever since I bought this dress, I've wanted to wear it with these boots. I just liked the idea. For various reasons (the biggest being you can barely sit in these boots as the knees are difficult to bend), I haven't worn them together. Until today. It was pretty grey outside, but dry on the ground (despite the snow flurries all day), so I figure 'wear your highest heels when the opportunity arises' you know! I'm starting to picture rolling Easter eggs in the snow...don't laugh, it's very close to becoming reality! For my Monster High Monday makeup I'm wearing today head over to Pink Haired Princess, can you guess which dolly I am? Oh and I've been trying to capture the back of these boots (where the full length zip is), but the only way that didn't look stupid was by taking a photo in the mirror, hence the not so sharp image today (I've included an extra below).

Wearing: Pansy 'Betty' dress and wine belt Swan by Clements Ribeiro.
Fit: True to size, elasticated section and full length zip. 5" heel and 1" platform.
Comfort: A little rigid at first (especially when sitting or walking up/down stairs) but after 10 minutes or so, they get a little more flexible. No other issues.
