Shoes: Black 'Eternity' KG by Kurt Geiger
Second post within minutes of the last one! I bought these shoes with the intention of them becoming a simple every-day shoe that could be worn with anything really. I think they probably need a little more 'breaking in', but they are quite hard and I feel after a while my arches will ache and my toes will go numb as they are a snug fit. So perhaps they won't be quite as wearable and versatile as hoped. Plus the heel is 5" with only a tiny concealed platform, so they weren't as wearable in that sense either. They're really cute though aren't they? I also want to mention this skirt, as it's received some mixed (or mostly bad) reviews on Evans. I happen to love it! I don't think it's worth it's full price of £55 (I got it in the sale for around £20 if I recall), as it's construction is rather simple (lined, back zip, split and waistband but no darts, just 'tucks'), but the 'lace' is of a decent quality, the fit if anything is a little roomy on me (in an 18) and the length, just below the knee is perfect and exactly what I was looking for.
Wearing: Marilyn Monroe t-shirt Born Idol (mens), black lace 'Grace' skirt Swan by Clements Ribeiro, red tartan tights gift, cardigan Bonmarche, spot coat Primark.
Fit: 5" heel, 3/4" concealed platform, snug fit but opt for your regular size.
Comfort: See above, although they gave me no specific issues today.
