Shoes: Brown suede and fur ankle boots 'Pier' L.A.M.B.
A quick post before I go to bed. I've only worn these boots once before, but they were super comfy today (Topshop 'Sophie' take note) so I'm keen to wear them again. I just have trouble when it comes to coordinating brown into my wardrobe as I have 'issues' with wearing black with it! I liked the leggings with the shoes and leggings with the dress, altogether though it was a bit of a mish-mash (although very Nicki Minaj inspired-she owns these boots too). Add to that the fact I needed a cardi and the majority of mine are black...I was struggling, then I ended up with my patterned black coat, hat, scarf and gloves on and hoped to goodness nobody saw my not so eclectic mix of colours, prints and textures! I hate bad outfit coordination and have set my own 'rules', so only have myself to blame really. Also you know how sometimes you look like crap but photograph well? Today I thought my hair was awesome and rivalled Marge Simpson in height, but it photographed terribly, hence my attempt at a different angle and even using my mobile phone. It was awesome, honest!
Wearing: Lilac lace dress and horse coat Primark, Barbie leggings Miss Selfridge, pearl cardigan Dorothy Perkins, belt taken from another dress.
Fit: 5 3/8" heel and 1 1/2" platform, lace-up, true to size (these are a US7.5)
Comfort: Surprisingly very easy to walk in and there were no issues of discomfort.

Day 808 - It's Not Much Of A Life You're Living
Shoes: Yellow 'Rocko' Irregular Choice
Another outfit for 'your eyes only' as I got rained off again today. I probably should've realised that it would rain and I wouldn't get out for my walk, but hey it passed the time getting ready! I haven't worn these shoes for aaaages. I rearranged the shoes in my room recently, after an avalanche or two from the 'shoe mountain'. This pair are now more accessible, but I have no idea where anything else is (organised chaos is the way I like it clearly)! Anyway, I hope I'll actually get to wear them outdoors soon...! Oh and a fab lippie combo today, my lips looked so shiny and plump! I used my lipstick of the week (Playboy Calendar Girl in 68 Miss November) with My Face Cosmetics lipgloss in 132 Glamorous, absolutely beautiful.
Wearing: Polka dot peter pan dress New Look, leggings Primark.
Fit: A little roomy, if you're between sizes opt for the smaller. Almost 4" heel.
Comfort: Easy to walk in.

Day 807 - I'll Be Your Shoulder When You Cry
Shoes: Nude party face 'Sophie' Topshop
Ok, so I'm sure you'll appreciate my honesty when it comes to shoes and how easy (or not) they are to walk in and how comfortable they are, even although it could perhaps be subjective as to what you are used to yourself. If we were scoring though, this pair sadly wouldn't make a 'pass' in anybodies book! It's sad because they are so freakin' cute and I've wanted Topshop to make a pair like this since I first spotted their lovely flats a couple of years ago with pearl ankle strap and little cutesy face on the front. I've already chickened out of wearing these once before and even took them off again today, before changing my mind again to putting them back on. It was torrential rain too, so I didn't think they were the most appropriate for that and I couldn't decide if I should even bother going out at all. The rain got lighter and I thought 'what the heck', got the shoes back on and tentatively stepped outside. Our front path is sloped slightly which never makes me feel very safe even in the 'best' of shoes and I could feel the eyes of the cute kids in the house opposite who've developed a bit of a fascination with me (to the point that their Mother sometimes takes photos of me because she and I quote, thinks I am 'so cool' and worse yet actually told my Mum she does this??!), so I was praying I wouldn't slip in front of an audience! I made it along the road a little bit (taking very small steps and concentrating like mad) and have to admit I did actually feel quite stable on the shoes, but had I stepped on a stone or uneven slab and I'd have probably been a goner! The rain got heavier by this point and I was met with a river across the pavement of dirty flood water coming down off the fields (so strong it had it's own current) and I sort of stood pathetically doing the 'so deep I can't get over it, so wide, I can't get round it' thing and sheepishly turned back for home! Probably about half the walk I usually manage (and the full walk itself is pretty pathetic), but boy was I glad to get in and get these off my feet! They nearly broke me and I like to pride myself on managing any kind of heel. Not these! Think they might be relegated to sitting pretty on a shelf!
Wearing: Black lace bow dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, black tights and coat Primark.
Fit: I found my regular size too small because your toes struggle to sit flat in the vertical shoe, so I sized up. Heel 6 1/4" and 1 1/2" platform, adjustable buckle on strap.
Comfort: Aching arches, feet froze because of the angle they were at, maybe not even limo shoes!

Day 806 - We Bumpin' In Your Parkin' Lot!
Shoes: Brown fur 'The Beast' Irregular Choice
I didn't intend to venture out today because the pavements and roads were really messy with various stages of yesterdays weather! Bits of ice, snow, slush, frost and wet. I'm not very confident at walking on that, but the little footpath gritter truck came round and by lunchtime, the main street was once again clear (just wet and covered in salt). I know it's probably boring wearing 'The Beast' two days running (albeit in a different colour), but I still wasn't convinced it was 'safe' outside. It was actually totally fine and I could've worn heels, so hopefully that's us over the worst of the weather and back to wearing whatever I like!
Wearing: Bunny shirt dress H by Henry Holland, suede leggings and horse coat Primark.
Fit: True to size, a little big in the heel (not as much as Long(er) Lashes etc though). Slip on, adjustable buckle on straps. Heel 4 3/4" and platform 1 3/4".
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 805 - All Your Lies, I'm Not Believing
Shoes: Black fur 'The Beast' Irregular Choice
Anyone else getting bored of this weather yet? I actually wouldn't mind deep snow, but we just seem to get the dregs on the coast! It's been rain and sleet all morning, then later this afternoon it turned to heavy snow. Eventually, it started sticking. It's not too bad compared to other places inland but it's blooming difficult to walk on. My Mum had a charity soup lunch she wanted me to go to today, so it was out with the snow-boots again! Twice in one week. I would've worn my brown pair, but couldn't find a suitable outfit to go with them! It was quite freaky because there were all these ladies there who used to be my teachers, even from as far back as nursery, 29 years ago! The soup was nice anyway and it got me out the house, which is a good thing these days. Let me know how you're going with the snow near you? I hear the roads are pretty treacherous.

Day 804 - Now Let Me Show You The Shape Of My Heart
Shoes: Black croc 'Barrs' Aldo
My goodness I'm tired today! I don't know why because I slept until at least half ten this morning! I feel like I've been drugged, I literally can't keep my eyes open....oh dear! I also spent the day getting ready to go out and timed it just when the downpour of rain/sleet/snow started! Then when it stopped, the pavements looked slushy and slippy and I thought, there's no way I'm going out in that with ordinary shoes on as I'll just fall over! So then I spent the afternoon battling to stay awake, yawn! You're therefore the only people that get to see this outfit. Wow! See you tomorrow if weather permits; I'm away to eat a Cadbury's Flake for some energy ; )
Wearing: Grace lace skirt Swan by Clements Ribeiro, Barbie chiffon top Miss Selfridge, mustard tights Primark, cardigan Bonmarche.
Fit: True to size, back zip, elasticated strapping, almost 5" heel.
Comfort: So easy to walk in and comfortable.

Day 803 - Keep The Beat Nasty Like Janet My Reaction
Shoes: Black 'Toad In the Hole' Irregular Choice
Hello! I had quite a lovely day today as I was meeting one of my oldest friends for lunch. We met on the first day of high school, so it's been almost 21 years (jeez that makes me feel old). She sat down the front and I sat up the back of the classroom and I remember wondering how long it took her to style her perfect hair! It was blonde and poker straight and never a hair out of place and she was so petite and prim and very studious. I on the other hand was like a skinny, gangly giraffe towering over her, I changed my hairstyle every day but always liked it a little messy, I pushed the boundaries of what I could wear to school, was only ever interested in Art and spent most of the day day-dreaming! This my friends, is how she became a procurator fiscal and I post pretty shoes on a blog! Only kidding...well no, it is a true story! Anyway I hadn't particularly wanted to venture out in the snow, but again it had cleared by morning, so out we went for lunch, albeit it in cosy and weather suitable clothing and shoes. We both needed a good natter as we've been struggling a great deal, mood-wise for the past month or so and hadn't told each other until today. A problem shared is a problem halved remember! And yes her hair is still 'perfect' and mine appears to be bigger than my head today...not much has changed!
Wearing: Geo print 'Celia' dress Swan by Clements Ribeiro, leggings Primark, strip logo bag Love Moschino.
Fit: True to size, inside zip, so no need to undo all the laces. Heel 4 3/4" and platform 1 3/4".
Comfort: No issues with these.
