Shoes: Raspberry 'Suck It And See' Office
Yesterday was another bright day and I felt inspired by my blue hair to find something in my wardrobe just as bold and colourful. I certainly found it with this fish dress! This time, I picked out the purpley pink colour (mainly in the bodice) and matched my shoes to that. I don't wear these shoes enough, because in the past they've rubbed terribly, but when it comes to getting rid of them, I can't do it. I like them, I just need to wear leggings long enough to cover the trouble areas. From memory the ankle bone and back of the heel are usually sore, but thankfully no problems in the 10 minutes I had them on yesterday (although I could feel them digging into the ankle). It's a pity they aren't the type of shoes I'd wear with tights because that would probably help.
Wearing: Fish dress and suede leggings Primark, belt taken from another dress, cardigan New Look.
Fit: True to size, 5 3/4" heel and 1 1/2" platform, 5 buckle fastenings (you usually only need to un-do three).
Comfort: A pretty steady base bar any loose stones or uneven pavements and being buckled in helps feel secure, but some people may struggle with the height and I certainly wouldn't run a marathon in them!

Day 728 - Wake Up In The Morning Feeling Like P Diddy
Shoes: Yellow and black heart 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood Anglomania & Melissa
I love the colours in this dress, it's so bright and the print is fun too. I was looking back the blog, to see when I last wore these shoes and I believe it was 2010! I hadn't realised it was so long ago. These were my original, first pair of VW's and although they're not my favourite colour-way, I doubt I could get rid of them because of the sentimental value. Now I kinda look like a duck faced, crazy coloured poodle in these pics!! I added a deep purple, sparkling lipgloss over my Dior lipstick of the week and in the photos my lips morphed into Angelina's....don't think they looked quite so big in real life, but there ya go! It was a bright day yesterday, so half my face is bathing in the sunlight through the window (and the little specks are from the frame around the image, hadn't realised it splattered all the way across my face!).
Wearing: Hula Hawaiian frilled dress H By Henry Holland, black leggings, vest (worn underneath) and belt Primark, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit: True to size, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: Slingbacks felt a little loose, but other than that fine.

Day 727 - Falling Leaves Like A Blanket At My Feet
Shoes: Blue cortesan robot Irregular Choice
A bit of a quiet week, post-wise. I haven't been out until yesterday as I've been getting my hair done, so those days were spent in my jammies, trying not to lean back on anything and get dye or bleach all over the place! You'll note a subtle change to my hair colour, I did a little experimenting this time and used two new shades to create a more blue colour. It's sill a little turquoise but definitely with a blue slant rather than green. It's quite nice because there are some shimmering green bits shining through from my previous colour, so it looks like mermaid-esque hair! I really like it and think I'll try even bolder blue next time, now that I know what I'm doing. Onto my outfit and this is the grey leopard print version of the black shift I was raving about last week. Thankfully Mum was in Edinburgh and found the right size in Primark there, whoopee! Haven't worn these shoes for over two years according to the blog and it's not because I don't like them, it's the velcro ankle strap that usually annoys me (popping open when walking and especially when going up/down stairs), however it gave me no issues yesterday, could have been my positioning or how tight/loose I fastened them. Anyway, I was glad, because they are super cute and I'll wear them more, now I know it is possible for them to remain closed.
Wearing: Grey leopard print shift dress and black tights Primark, belt taken from another dress.
Fit: 4 1/2" heel, velcro strap. I ordered a size up at the time and they're not hugely roomy on me.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 726 - I Can't Believe You Kiss Your Car Good Night
Shoes: Leopard print 'The Big L' Irregular Choice
My goodness, what a difference a day makes. Summer is officially over people! I didn't make it out all weekend because I had a lot of stuff on and knew yesterday the forecast was for strong winds and rain. It wasn't raining when I got up though and I figured, I may as well chance getting ready to go out. Once I was dressed, it was chucking it down, but I waited and managed out in a dry spell. The winds were horrific though (but you know I like adverse weather) and I was blown about and rather messed up by the time I got home! My choice of shoes reflects my rebellion against the weather, refusing to completely give up all hopes of summer or even autumn! This dress is one I've had for a while but was keeping for cooler weather; from afar you'd think it was floral, but is actually kissing birds (cute) and it's got a beautiful full, swishy skirt! My hair is getting bleached today, so I didn't bother curling it yesterday and it's just long enough to go back into a ponytail (after me drastically cutting it twice recently), so it was out of my face for the wind outside. The weather has calmed a bit today although there's no way I'm going out in this rain. The wind peaked last night and I have to admit to not getting much sleep from it battering my window. I also need to figure out how to get decent pictures in winter because my camera point-blank refused to take any in the low-light yesterday, hence my change of location (probably didn't help to wear an all-black outfit).
Wearing: Bird print dress, black leggings, spot coat all Primark, tan belt taken from another dress, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit: True to size, elasticated strap. 6" heel and 1 1/2" platform.
Comfort: This was my first time wearing these shoes out, they felt alright although the lining is a little scratchy.
and this is my bedraggled state after my brief walk! Lovely (!)

Day 725 - Not Tryin' To Sound Conceited But Me & You Were Meant To Be
Shoes: Pink satin, crystal & cherry print 'Rema' River Island
I didn't intend this outfit to be very twee, but that's kinda what happened. I found these shoes yesterday when I was looking for the Kurt Geiger pair. I haven't worn them for ages and decided they should be the starting point for my outfit today. I had a quick browse of my bulging wardrobe and this dress just stuck out and I figured it was one of the few opportunities I would get to wear it before winter. As someone who loves pink, I tend not to wear very much of it and certainly not an entire outfit, but I ended up loving this look. I added the black cardi and belt to break it up a little and there is black within both prints (on the shoes and dress), plus the addition of the grey underskirt added another element. I was going to wear little grey socks with it, but thought it looked better without. This dress was on my wishlist for ages because of that adorable print, but I couldn't justify buying it at full-price. I eventually got it half price and it fits me perfectly, actually it may be the only sleeveless dress I own that fits around the armholes (big boobs and not big arms, always means I end up with gaping armholes). It's maybe a bit 'dressed up' considering I only went along the road and back again for my walk, but overdressed is my style!
Wearing: Birdcage dress South at Very, belt taken from another dress, bow cardigan New Look, grey net underskirt Primark, Mischief sunglasses Irregular Choice.
Fit: Surprisingly 5 1/4" heel (doesn't feel too high) and small platform. Two straps with adjustable buckles, true to size.
Comfort: These were tested to their limit last year when I wore them bare foot/legged to a wedding, all day and night and they gave me no issues and they're super easy to walk in.
