Day 863 - I Fell In The Ring Of Fire

Shoes: Black leather and wooden 'Sight For Sore Eyes' Office

Such a lovely day and not as windy as it's been, so it's out with the maxi dress and no coat! It's been too blustery for tights or bare legs hence the leggings this week. I absolutely hate wearing something and feeling uncomfortable in it, pulling it down or trying to stop it blowing up the whole time, so I've tweaked my wardrobe to reflect that this week. I haven't worn these shoes for a good while, they were the perfect match for this dress though. They are almost identical to the Gucci platforms a from a few years ago.

Wearing: Leopard print maxi dress ASOS Curve, wine belt Swan by Clements Ribeiro, green embellished cardigan Primark, Mischief sunglasses Irregular Choice.
Fit: 5 3/4" heel and platform over 1 1/2", adjustable buckle fastening. True to size.
Comfort: They have a rubber sole, so that helps, but you do have to be careful because you can wobble every so often! The heel is chunky enough that you have a reasonably solid base though. Comfort is fine.

A little late with this post, see the technical issue here! Dealing with it better today, although I'm obviously behind with work now, thank you Photobucket. *edit*fuming because PB have decided to resize my edited images, after me making them all the same width for this post...too tired to change it* Anyway, I had the dental hospital (yep again) yesterday and so I was out of the house at a reasonable hour for once. I love this dress. I want to buy it in every pattern! I thought it might look quite awesome with these boots and my Love Moschino bag which has become my favourite thing recently. The jewellery wasn't particularly thought out, just what I could grab in a hurry. The wee piggy is absolutely the cutest thing ever though. Oh and hardly any of the 'before' face photos worked, so you get the 'after' complete with frozen, squint mouth, yay!

Wearing: Floral wiggle pencil dress ASOS, nude quilted bag Love Moschino, fox ring and frog ring Miss Selfridge, pig and rabbit rings Topshop, diamond band my Grannys.
Fit: 4 1/2" heel, true to size, adjustable strapping and buckles.
Comfort: Other than taking a little while to get on and off, they are fine.

Day 778 - You're So Special, You're Like Diamonds And Pearls

Shoes: Nude 'Bondaged Up' Poste Mistress at Office 

I was in two minds whether or not to get dressed today because it had been raining all morning and I didn't fancy getting soaked for no reason. I went ahead with getting ready anyway, then it got worse, so I didn't venture out. Waste of an outfit and makeup and the full 10 minutes it takes to fasten these boots!! This is actually when a blog comes in handy though, because you guys are the only ones that get to see the outfit, so it's not a complete waste of time! Again, I really liked this outfit today, midi lengths seem to be my thing currently!
 
Wearing: Pansy 'Peggy' dress Swan by Clements Ribeiro, vest (worn underneath) and purple tights (not seen) both Primark.
Fit: 4 1/2" heel, true to size, adjustable strapping and buckles.
Comfort: Other than taking a little while to get on and off, they are fine.

Day 729 - I'll Be Like Your Medicine, You'll Take Every Dose Of Me

Shoes: Raspberry 'Suck It And See' Office 

Yesterday was another bright day and I felt inspired by my blue hair to find something in my wardrobe just as bold and colourful.  I certainly found it with this fish dress!  This time, I picked out the purpley pink colour (mainly in the bodice) and matched my shoes to that.  I don't wear these shoes enough, because in the past they've rubbed terribly, but when it comes to getting rid of them, I can't do it.  I like them, I just need to wear leggings long enough to cover the trouble areas.  From memory the ankle bone and back of the heel are usually sore, but thankfully no problems in the 10 minutes I had them on yesterday (although I could feel them digging into the ankle).  It's a pity they aren't the type of shoes I'd wear with tights because that would probably help.

Wearing:  Fish dress and suede leggings Primark, belt taken from another dress, cardigan New Look.
Fit: True to size, 5 3/4" heel and 1 1/2" platform, 5 buckle fastenings (you usually only need to un-do three).  
Comfort: A pretty steady base bar any loose stones or uneven pavements and being buckled in helps feel secure, but some people may struggle with the height and I certainly wouldn't run a marathon in them!

Day 604- Just A Puppet On A Lonely String

Shoes: Teal suede 'Bedroom Antics' Office

Feeling a bit bleugh today.  I bought this top yesterday because I was in love with the print and the colour.  The only problem being I don't really do tops!  I'm a dress only girl, but that's mostly down to me not being comfortable in anything other than dresses.  On top of that, my skin has been bothering me the past few weeks and alongside a million blemishes (which are thankfully starting to go), I've got really bad dry skin today. I decided against wearing any makeup, other than lipstick/gloss today in order to aid it's recovery!  My hair is a mess and has been for weeks, but it's bugging me now (I'm trying to resist shaving it all off), plus I've been having a 'fat week' rather than 'day', not helped by the fact I put on 3lbs this week.  So all in all, it probably wasn't the best time to be trying something different.  In theory I like the outfit (and would love it on someone else), but in reality I felt like the end of a house!

Wearing:  Black leggings, skirt, hat and blue satin dalmatian top all Primark, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit:  I needed a size up in these, 5 3/4" and 1 1/4" platform.
Comfort:  OCD peeps stay away from these, the ribbons nearly drove me insane, I think you just have to let it go the way it wants and resist the urge to have them lying flat and neat.  No other issues.

Day 579 - Close My Eyes, Feel The Rhythm

Shoes: Nude 'Bondaged Up' boots Poste Mistress at Office

Just a quickie from yesterday.  I love this dress and although it's very cold right now-I figured I could somehow make it work for winter.  It's longer than I remembered, but I think it worked alright-ish.  I'm not sure, was a bit undecided.
