Day 1142 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Irregular Choice Muppets, The Great Gonzo 

I'm way out of my comfort zone in these shoes today, because they are...gasp...mid heels!  You know I loved The Muppets collection and I already have the Gonzo bag and purse to match these shoes (though more on that later).  I recently completed my Muppets collection by managing to find all the high heels and I extended this to mid heels too, because I loved the styles regardless of the heels.  The uppers on these are quite unusual in my collection, so that's why I was drawn to them.  Yes, I'd love them more if they were higher heeled, but I just wanted a pair of Gonzo shoes and they didn't come any higher, so I bit the bullet and got them. 

Day 1137 - Dust Yourself Off And Try Again

I felt like sneaking in an extra (outfit) post for you this week. This look was from the beginning of July, one of those really hot days we had during summer, which all seems like a distant memory now huh? I was meeting my three Uni flatmates in Edinburgh for a little reunion as it'll soon be 20 years since we first met. I honestly can't believe that. I do feel like a long time has passed since I was school, maybe not 20 years though, but since meeting the girls? It really doesn't feel that long. I have to remember I've been ill for 16 years since then though, so I suppose it does add up. 

Day 1125 - Shoesday Tuesday

Hi gang! Ugh, what a day, I'm shattered. I showered, tidied (which was totally impulsive, but I'm pleased with what I did, though I suspect I'll be unable to find anything now), packaged up a massive parcel of stuff that had to be returned and now my lower back is in agony and my hips and legs are done-in too! I really wanted to get this post out though because it's my final Muppets shoes, sob! Can't believe I've been through my 4 pairs already (hit the Muppets tag below to see the others). My sister is giving me these for Christmas, but let me take blog photos, though I don't want to properly wear them beforehand. It feels like cheating, so I'm hiding them away now. I'm also apologising in advance for the funny lighting, I tried to fix it as best I could, but the sun was going down when I took these last week and they all had a weird, warm glow to them (which I didn't realise until it came to editing them and I'm way too knackered to retake them).

Shoes: Irregular Choice Muppets Original Diva 

Oh my goodness, I am so in love with this combination! I haven't bought any of the patterned tights IC have made before, mostly because I was too fat for them, but whenever I laid eyes on the Muppets ones on launch day, I had to try them (and hoped they would fit now). It's a lot more than I'd normally pay for tights, but these are very, very good quality.

Shoes:  Irregular Choice Muppets Louder! Louder!

I'm sorry this post is later than intended.  I've had two days of internet so slow, it was almost non-existent.  It was a nightmare as I just couldn't do anything, it wouldn't open anything, images wouldn't load, flash certainly wouldn't work and it never once properly lost connection ("there are no issues with your connection", I beg to differ matey)! So yeah, you know when you get the rage, like THE rage, I was at that point.  It was either me or the laptop about to be launched out the window, it was so frustrating.  Then yesterday afternoon, it just reverted back to normality.  So weird.  Something was definitely amiss somewhere and it wasn't anything to do with my laptop.  Also next day deliveries that don't arrive next day....I don't get it.  It's not a complex concept, you pay for it, you order before the cut-off, then they take 2 days to deliver it, just because they feel like it.  What?  If I can have another moan, winter.  Ok, I quite like it, I enjoy the run-up to Christmas, I don't mind seeing decorations and hearing Christmas tunes, but the lack of daylight, I can't stand it.  I forget every single year, how ridiculously early it gets dark (currently just before half 4 here) and that I have a very small window of opportunity in which to take photos for the blog.  I don't have the patience for it.  Anyway moany moan over, let's talk Muppet shoes!  You can find my Miss Piggy ankle boots here and today it's the turn of Animal.
