Day 846 - Don't Know What Kind Of Spell You Think I'm Under

Shoes: Brown and black fur boots Miss Selfridge

Wow, what a beautiful sunny day, I think I might take a trip down to the beach later and get some sun, sea and sand. No I'm messing with you, it's snowing. Again! It's comical now, well for us anyway, have you seen the houses on Aaron? I can say I've never witnessed snow like that in my life! Brings a whole new meaning to being 'snowed in' when you could walk on the snow and be level with your roof!! The houses and cars are literally engulfed by snow and to think it all has to disappear somewhere, unbelievable. It reminds me of that episode of ER when it starts snowing then Carter comes back out and the top of the ambulances are just visible above the snow. It's exactly like that. Anyway enough weather...check out the cuteness on this t-shirt! How adorable are each and every one of these pandas with their quirky little outfits? Major style fail though, I noticed once I'd taken the photos (the plus side to outfit-blogging) that the lining of this skirt is an inch or two longer than the lace. I think the lace shrunk in the wash and the lining didn't, eeep! What the F am I going to do without this skirt? Panic stations!

Wearing: Black lace 'Grace' skirt Swan by Clements Ribeiro, rainbow panda t-shirt H By Henry Holland, green embellished cardigan, black fleece tights, hat and coat Primark.
Fit: True to size, adjustable buckles/straps, 4 1/4" heel and 1 1/2" platform.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 607 - "S" On My Chest, Let Me Get My Cape On

Shoes: Tapestry platforms 'Ebony' Miss Selfridge

Good evening...a little late with this post today. I'm half watching a CSI:NY episode I've never seen before at the same time, so I'm not fully concentrating! I found this dress today, still with the tags on (and it's old) -paisley isn't my favourite print, although the dress is floral too and is pretty enough-just not one I reach for, clearly! I was going to go through my wardrobe and chuck some dresses (yet again), but after a quick look, there weren't really any that I wanted to get rid of. At the same time, I still stand there a few times a week thinking "I'm so bored with my wardrobe-I have nothing to wear"! Fickle me! Anyway, I love these shoes and feel they've been neglected lately. They do this 'push your toes forward' thing though which I'm not keen on, but a bigger size would definitely have been too big. Toe overhang is just a bit chavvy isn't it? Or is that just me?

Wearing: Paisley floral dress, suede leggings, cardigan and hat all Primark.
Fit: Narrow in the toe but you shouldn't need a size up-elasticated button fastening which you can just slip on without having to undo. 5" heel and 1" platform.
Comfort: No problems.

Day 509 - Get Your Fur On

Shoes: Brown and black fur boots Miss Selfridge

Hello, yes it's me, not some impostor with a fancy camera! You would think it though with some of these images taken with my (borrowed) sisters camera. How clear and crisp are they? I'm pretty amazed myself... and wow that flash loves my foundation (unlike my other camera), it's given me wonderful porcelain-white skin, haha! Anyway, a shout out about this dress, it arrived in super speedy time from Asda (got it y'day and ordered it at the weekend) and it's part of their Think Pink breast cancer campaign. There's a selection of limited edition dresses 'designed' by celebrities and this teal lace one is by Chloe Madeley (Richard and Judy's daughter for UK peeps!). I was hoping it was similar to my coral summer lace dress also from Asda (which by the way I'd like in every colour either with sleeves like this or without). £2 from the sale of each dress goes to charity and so that's my reason for mentioning it. These shoes were a life-saver for my cold tootsies today, at least the sun was shining but it was fareeezing. One of those weird scarves, gloves and sunglasses days! Seeing as I was just popping out quickly, I made do with a cardi and coat over this.

Wearing: Turquoise lace dress George at Asda, black leggings and leopard belt Primark.
Fit: True to size, adjustable buckles/straps, 4 1/4" heel and 1 1/2" platform.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day Four Hundred & Fourteen - Push It

Shoes: Tapestry 'Ebony' platforms Miss Selfridge

I'll update with my outfit etc tomorrow. I've been away to Dundee returning my Pearl Lowe dresses : ( Had to catch a later bus because I decided I wanted to wear these shoes and couldn't get the price stickers off the bottom in time. Stickers on shoes have to be one of my biggest hates. I'm quite phobic when it comes to stickers at the best of times, but they can completely ruin the soles of shoes (this pair being gold metallic, so they're now patchy), grrr!

Wearing: Primark striped sundress, leggings, coat and sunglasses. Fox ring Miss Selfridge, deer ring Topshop, snake bangle Primark, pearl & ribbon necklace Accessorize.
Fit: Narrow in the toe but you shouldn't need a size up-elasticated button fastening which you can just slip on without having to undo (thankfully). 5" heel and 1" platform.
Comfort: Easy to walk in, you have a nice solid base. Your toes are pushed forward and out through the peep toe which can take a bit of getting used to, I didn't have any specific problems with them though.

Day Three Hundred & Forty Seven - You Compleat Me

Shoes: Brown and black fur shoe boot Miss Selfridge

I didn't realise it was still icy in places today, so had to cut my walk short. This is the first time I've worn these shoes and when you're wearing platforms you can't really 'feel' the ground, so I wasn't going to take any chances. I hope nobody was watching me walking back to the house, the concentration and tiny steps I took looked ridiculous I'm sure! Some extra outfit shots today-hopefully gives you a better idea of the dress.

Wearing: Peach pleated dress Primark, black satin slip, black leggings and the usual layers for outdoors!Fit: A little snug in length, but not enough to warrant going up a size. Adjustable buckle fastenings, 11cm heel and 1 1/2" platform.
Comfort: I didn't walk very far, but they seem fine to me.

Day Ninety Two - What Am I?

These boots have really been slagged off on various blogs. I was very curious to see them in person and actually really liked them when they arrived, having ordered them in the sale for £30. They are too tight though, so have gone back. The over-the-knee leg has a velvet texture and has the straps across the foot attached to it (with a zip going through both leg and strap sections), but the leg is footless and stops slightly backward of the peep-toe section of the boot. Very difficult to describe and very much made up of sock, boot, shoe, sandal...but hey ho, I liked them. Also available as an ankle boot. What do you think?

Day Ninety - Thigh's The Limit

I've barely left the house for the past month, which leaves me in a dilemma with this blog. Technically I'm not wearing any shoes, so it defeats the purpose of the challenge. I could take a break for a month or so until the weather (and myself) get slightly better or I could just continue taking images, even when I'm not really wearing those shoes that day. I think I've decided on the latter because I enjoy this blog so much, I don't want it to dwindle away to nothing. So with that in mind and seeing as I'm sitting doing nothing today, I thought I'd show you these thigh high boots. I just bought them in the sale, but think I will return them. They are quite big around the leg and keep falling down. I didn't expect them to go so far up my thigh either, I can't even fit it all in the picture! I'm going to review these and another pair I bought on Pink Haired Princess if you're interested.

Day Sixty Two - How Hard Can It Be?

Did you see X Factor last night? You wouldn't think it an impossible task to get a celebrity on the show that can sing well (and live) and string a coherent sentence together, would you? However it's proving very difficult. Last week we had Robbie Williams with his staring, druggy eyes and desperate attempts to make us like him, then this week Whitney Houston bursts the back of her dress (it was far too small for her) and she was seriously struggling to make any sense when she spoke. Either the drugs have rotted her brain or she's not as 'clean' as she'd like us to think. That aside, she has the most perfect complexion I've ever seen, not a blemish or line; hardly a good advert for staying away from drugs is it? Anyway, Westlife, I'm counting on you to raise the tone next week!Grey suede, peep toe boots with metallic heel Miss Selfridge

Day Six - Because We All Need Some Sparkle

Ok, I usually never wear these outside of Christmas time, however I've had a kinda crappy week, I still have clown hair, I've wasted all morning trying to pre-order JLS tickets for my little sister and because I didn't get any, I have to waste all of tomorrow doing the same thing when they go on sale for real! I've seen more websites crash and so many different versions of 'this page cannot be displayed' that I may just do like that guy in the advert and throw the computer across the room in a fit of rage. So, I decided I need some sparkle and these ruby red slippers certainly provide that. Now what happens if I click my heels three times?Miss Selfridge red glitter shoes
