Day 1212 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Green fluffy, furry courts | Dolce & Gabbana 

I buckled and bought these crazy shoes!  I mentioned them when I bought my leopard print fluffy courts, but honestly I've tried to resist these for over a year now.  Originally from AW18, they kept showing up on TK Maxx and I repeatedly had to talk myself out of buying them.  When they appeared a month or so ago, again, I kept an eye on them and decided when my size went down to low stock I'd buy them...of course, they sold out didn't they? I was really disappointed, then randomly checked one day to find there was one pair, in my size!  What will be, will be, so they say.

Yay, I eventually bought myself some birthday shoes!  My b'day was back in May, but I hadn't seen anything at the time and I wasn't going to buy something just for the sake of my wee tradition.  I'd rather wait until something special appeared.  I'd actually seen these elsewhere, about three times the price I bought them for and even that would be significantly cheaper than the original retail price.  I've also seen them in black and white zebra stripes or a plain blush pink, but leopard was my favourite, so I was so excited to find them. 

Day 1200 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Red sequins embellished buckle shoes | Dolce & Gabbana

*Apologies, I already posted these shoes here a couple of months ago, my memory is clearly non-existent.  I did think it seemed familiar when I was writing the post 😳 Ah well, you get a different sock pairing for them*  You may have already seen these shoes in my review on Pink Haired Princess, they were one of the pairs I bought myself last year for my 40th birthday.  I haven't been able to wear any of the four pairs yet, as I've only left the house once (for my vaccine) in all this time, but I thought I'd review their fit here.  Generally, I find D&G shoes quite small fitting, so I got the half size larger in these (38.5) and they are pretty perfect.  A little narrow in the toe, so you may also want to opt for a slightly roomier fit, but length wise they feel true for me.  All three buckles unfasten and have adjustable straps.  I can get these on and off without taking out the purple velvet one; the grey and red reptile straps and buckles all fasten really easily. There's nothing fiddly, thankfully.  The heel is nice and sturdy to walk on and it feels like your foot is well supported.

Shoes: Red Sequins AW17 | Dolce & Gabbana

Hi gang, how are you all this week?  No IC today, these are a pair of shoes I bought last year for my birthday.  If you follow my other blog, Pink Haired Princess, you'll know I buy a special pair of shoes for my birthday each year.  Seeing as I turned 40 last year, I decided to space it out throughout the year and bought 4 pairs.  These were the final pair I got and a style I've had my eye on for a long time.  They are from the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection, which featured a lot of these multi-buckled, embellished and sequin designs. 

Day Four Hundred & Thirty Seven - Lifted

Shoes: Black wedges with gold and silver leaf detail Dolce & Gabbana

My parents are on holiday currently which means I have more computer time (I realise I sound like a 5 year old but anyway), all it's meant is that I find silly things to do like playing online games, watching videos on YouTube or googling people! I really need to get back into a routine and get some work done! So these are the shoes I wore y'day-first time on TSGD. I didn't get to wear them outside though because by the time I got organised, it started raining-story of my life right now! My hair is an utter mess in these photos for two reasons 1) I had just cut it and washed it without conditioner/styling products to prep for colouring it and 2) resizing the images is not kind to my hair, it always makes it look way more fuzzy than it actually is but I don't think you want images 3x larger than life!

Wearing: Polka dot jumpsuit (which was seriously hoiked up in these pics, because it is so long), black vest and sunglasses all Primark.
Fit: Run a little tight. 6" wedge heel, 1 1/2" platform, adjustable buckle.
Comfort: Well I didn't get anywhere in them so can't really comment on their comfort yet!
