Shoes: Metallic 'Love Games' Irregular ChoiceStill no hair dye, so I just popped out quickly today with a hat for disguise! I love these IC shoes for many reasons, the shape is amazing and the colours in the fabric is stunning. The fabric and reasonably plain court is not the type I would usually associate with Irregular Choice, it's almost as 'normal' as they would ever get. However, I knew the moment I set eyes on them that I had to have them. There are also some not so good points though-the sizing is weird. I have the same pair in teddy print in a 5 and I couldn't get my foot in the 5 of this colour, so had to return them for a 6. That's odd considering the shoe is exactly the same style! Also, I think I'm correct in saying this is the highest heel ever from IC without a platform. That means they are damn hard to walk in! My insteps were begging me to get home faster, so I could take the shoes off, but my wee legs wouldn't carry me any quicker! Funnily enough my Bambino (the same shape again) seem to be easier for me to walk in. It's certainly hard work and I didn't realise how much I depended on platforms when it comes to really high heels!
Wearing: Navy bird print lace dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, navy boat cardigan Peacocks, navy lace camisole and navy leggings Primark.
Fit: See above, 5" heel.
Comfort: See above, wouldn't recommend these for long periods of time!
Who cares if you can't walk in them?! That has to be the most beautiful pair of shoes I've ever seen, both in shape and fabric. The pain of wearing them would be so worth it, I reckon...please tell me it is before I try and search out a pair for myself. BTW I think you are just such a gorgeous woman. I'd love to have even just a molecule of your style sense. I so look forward to your blog updates every day. I need my shoe fix! :oD

Samantha-thank you very much : ) I'm so glad you're enjoying the blog. The shoes...hmmm, this day they were a real struggle but I reckon if you persevered, they would maybe get better. Funnily enough the teddy pair in the same style are much more manageable for me. Did I mention they come with leg spatz too? Oh yes, glorious knee high in the same fabric (you can see little fish and things on the spatz) gorgeous!
