I expected to get out on Saturday and was halfway through getting dressed when Mum told me not to bother. She'd been out and the streets were like an ice-rink, it was absolutely treacherous. After me slating the council for wasting loads of grit on the pavements on Friday, it seems it hadn't made a blind bit of difference. Sunday, I was busy with eBay and today although we'd had a little snow overnight, it cleared quickly, so I ventured out. It's really cold and a few miles inland, they have snow, our streets are clear though. I forgot how tricky it was dressing for slippy footpaths and trying to stay warm. Of course if I owned a pair of 'sensible' shoes it would help, but where's the fun in that!

Ooh I love the dress and coat!! Were they recent purchases? Xx
ReplyDeletethank you; no the coat is a couple of years old and the dress was limited edition 'designed' by Chloe Madelely last year.
DeleteAww, I'll have to stalk eBay for the coat as it is amazing! I love the colour of the dress, so pretty! Xx
