Shoes: Black fringed boots Primark
I'm well impressed that I've been out of the house most of the day and still managed to post this. I'm actually finding I've gotten into a better routine lately and have been managing to post on both blogs, which I was struggling with for a bit. You know once I say this, I'll disappear off somewhere and not be able to post for weeks! Kidding! Hopefully. It was absolutely freezing today, temperatures didn't get any higher than 2 and I'm so thankful I busted out the big boys just in time for the cold snap. In saying that, these boots have been lurking around my room somewhere since last winter anyway. I wanted to recreate the Victoria Beckham catwalk look of wearing a slim fit dress with bulky looking boots. The hem needs to be mid calf really to get the right look, so this fell a little short, but it was a little nod to the look anyway. I'm not sure I have any slouchy boots that are long enough-most hit mid calf and my knee highs are usually slim fitting. If the weather stays like this though, it'll be boots with dresses from now until March!

Day 669 - In My Dreams You Are Still Here
Shoes: Brown studded sandals Primark Good evening chickadees! I feel like I've kinda lost my mojo this past week or so. My outfits either don't feel that great or aren't coming across well in the pics. This dress is absolutely beautiful, so I thought it would be a good choice, but the photos make it look kinda unflattering (I really don't look amused in the full-length shot do I?)! It's only a size 16, so I was chuffed to bits it fitted, but I don't think I'm doing it justice here...think I got the proportions wrong perhaps or the cardi made it look frumpy! It just hits my knee, so I don't think I'd be comfortable bare-legged in it to be honest, plus it wasn't warm enough for that today, so I felt I needed the leggings (tights seemed too wintery). Anyhow, it was another outfit that just kinda happened along the way when actually I'd planned on wearing several other things!
Wearing: Blue floral dress H by Henry Holland (Debenhams), navy leggings Primark, shoe scarf gift, swallow cardigan Dorothy Perkins, tan belt (taken from dress H by Henry Holland).
Fit: True to size, 2 adjustable buckles fastenings, 4 1/2" heel and small platform.
Comfort: A bit of a struggle to get on and off (and they leave horrendous trap-marks) but comfortable and easy to walk in.

Day 661 - I'll Make A Hearse Out Of Your Rolls Royce
Shoes: Black studded sandals PrimarkOn Saturday I was meeting a couple of my old Uni pals for a belated birthday lunch. It was one of those days where I really wasn't in the mood for going out and even getting ready was a chore 'looks too wintery, feel too fat, too short' etc. My bedroom looked like a clothes-bomb had hit it by the end of the morning and right before I left the house I had yet another change of heart and whipped off my other ASOS maxi to replace it with this one that I'd worn last week, which is more comfortable. I was scrambling about for accessories at the last minute (!) and paired it with these sandals which haven't seen the light of day for years and as much as it pained me to do so, I wore black with tan accessories (me and my black/brown never together phobia)! It was a lovely day (sunny but not too hot) and great to see the girls and hear their stories. The Prada sunnies were a hit as was the dress and I felt alright in my outfit after all that. I got some lovely pressies too, including this Shamballa bracelet, so sparkly under lights! I hadn't managed to take any photos before leaving, hence the multiple 'on-the-bus' shots!
Wearing: Floral maxi ASOS Curve, black cardigan Be Beau at Matalan, tan belt (taken from dress) H by Henry Holland, tan camera bag Primark, horse pendant Claire's, rose charm pendant Red Herring (Debenhams), bow hairband gift, sunglasses Prada, frog, parrot and bunny rings Miss Selfridge.
Fit: True to size, 2 adjustable buckles fastenings, 4 1/2" heel and small platform.
Comfort: A bit of a struggle to get on and off (and they leave horrendous trap-marks) but comfortable and easy to walk in.

Day 590 - You'll Never Change What's Been And Gone
Shoes: Black fringed boots Primark
Oh what a day or rather what a month! I've always hated February and decided not to let it get to me this year, but it's really starting to. Ok, so this obsession with the dark eyes, wearing black etc, I'm thinking it's in part due to my hair, as well as my mood. I haven't dyed it since mid-December, so obviously the roots are really bad, which would normally bother me. However, I'm embracing the look now and just want to wear lots of eyeliner, my beanie hat, Gaga t-shirt and some skinny jeans or leather trousers, which by the way I don't own! I probably wouldn't be comfortable wearing something like that these days though, so I'll just have to grunge-ify my pretty dresses as much as is possible. I always kinda admired girls that already have that 'rock look' to them, no matter what they're wearing. I'm always a bit too prim and prissy!
Wearing: Pink and black floral dress, suede leggings and hat all Primark-oh and the shoes-an entire Primark outfit!
Fit: True to size. Full length zip, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: No issues.

Day 536 - Going Out
Shoes: Paint splatter platform courts PrimarkNo outfit today-it's been a long time since I just showed you the shoes isn't it? Well, I had loads to do today, so haven't been out and I actually sold these shoes at the weekend, but hadn't yet photographed them for the blog, so did so. They are cute enough, but I needed the space and money more than another pair of courts that I'd probably only wear once or twice. I'm trying to be ruthless and only keep those that I really love to bits, I do have some moments of weakness though. I can't wait until next year where I'm hopefully going to have a proper storage solution for all my shoes. It should be easier to access them and see the whole lot, rather than the digging around I do most days and yes I do struggle at times to remember ALL of the pairs I own!
Wearing: Suede leggings Primark.
Fit: True to size, 5 1/2" heel, 1" platform.
Comfort: Don't foresee any issues with these.

Day Three Hundred & Forty Five - I Whip My
Hello peeps! Think I must have put on weight since last winter, because these boots barely zipped up over my calves and I don't recall them being like that last year! I feel a bit like a Clydesdale horse or a yeti in them-they are wild!
Wearing: Not really sure a demure, retro dress like this is the perfect pairing for these boots but never mind! It is of course from Pearl Lowe at Peacocks (again) and with the usual black leggings, cardi, coat, large fluffy earmuffs, shawl and gloves!
Comfort: No problems other than the struggle to zip them up!

Day One Hundred & Sixty Five - Let It Go
I feel a bit like a shire horse today in these boots. The length of the fringing and the swing they give when you walk is incredible. I tried to capture some movement in the image which is hard to do whilst trying to hold the camera steady and swing at the same time. My Mum wondered what I was doing because of the strange noises coming from my room! I'm not entirely convinced I teamed the boots with the right outfit, so hopefully next winter I'll get another try at it!

Day One Hundred & Fifty Three - Polished Prim
Well, I didn't think I could top yesterdays cute booties, so I didn't even try! Another brown pair and I almost forgot I still had these, I found them lurking at the back of my wardrobe (why do we keep shoes in there?). I think they would look better teamed with tights, which is how I usually wear them. I'm lemming so many new shoes at the moment and there is never enough money is there?

Day One Hundred & Five - Granny Chic
These are my 'granny shoes', I'm quite sure my granny actually owns a very similar pair, scary! I'm going to attempt another little walk today, although it's started to rain. So once again, I'm wrapping up warm to keep cosy.
