Day 812 - They’re In The Wrong Place Trying To Make It Right

Shoes: Black and white 'Teeze 20' Bordello

I realise I just wore this dress the other day, but it was one of those days when I didn't actually get out, so I've styled it completely differently for today.  I had to have picked the absolute worst moment to leave the house today.  In between bright sunshine, there had been the odd spitter of rain.  By the time I was ready to go out, it was a full snow blizzard (where the heck did that come from?), the wind was terrible and the snow was flying horizontal!  I thought, I'd better chance going out in it, because it would only get worse (wrong) and it's just snow, so it can't be as bad as rain (wrong again)?  It was like ice hitting your face and the snow was so wetting, I looked like a snowman by the time I got home!  I had actual snowflakes melting in my lashes (trust me that sounds a lot cooler than it actually looks) and of course on the journey back, I'm literally 10 seconds from home and it stops.  Completely dry for the next few hours.  Idiot! Oh and if you're wondering about the aqua lips, all will be revealed when I finish my Monster High Monday post for this week!

Wearing:  Black polka dot peter pan dress New Look, black patterned Barbie leggings Miss Selfridge, fur trim socks Flirt at ASOS, horse coat Primark.
Fit: You need to size up on all Bordello Teeze. These are a US8. Inside zip. 6" heel and just over 1 1/2" platform.
Comfort: Comfortable with socks and easy to walk in.

  1. You are so brave to wear those shoes out in that weather-I got caught in the smow/hail blizzard doing the school run and it was horrible! Am afraid its my flat knee high boots for me this week! Saw a cute dress in primark for you-navy blue skater style with a cream crochet collar! x

    1. Yes it was at the exact same time here, nightmare! With hindsight, I should've just waited until it stopped! Haven't been to Primark in aaages, but went yesterday in search of the dress! You're right it's lovely, so I bought it then when I tried it on today it looked minging! I was so disappointed. From above the bust upwards it's a totally strange fit, the shoulders feel too small, the arms gape, the skirt and rest of it is lovely though, but it will be going back.

  2. I just adore those shoes and am quite impressed with the black background version of the barbie leggings (which if they were tights I would get them right away but I seem to have a problem with leggings - I only own one pair and hardly wear them and only in the summer time).

    1. they would be awesome in tights! I find I'm wearing my leggings less and less now (probably because my hemlines are longer).

  4. I love these boots every time you wear them. Wish I could walk in heels but have enough trouble in the bad weather in flats boots.

    1. My sister was complaining that she needed new winter boots because the heel on hers were 'far too high' to walk around in all day. I'm not joking, they were like less than an inch! Time to suss out if we are actually related!
