Two shoes and outfits for you today. I got a request last week to style these shoes, thank you darling. Yes I take requests and I'm here all night! You know once I asked for a song in a club and the DJ gave me a clipboard, pen and paper to write as many as I wanted (dangerous). I was so excited! I bet my songs were played all night and we left after one drink! Muahaha. I digress. Yes, perhaps it should be a regular feature, that you ask me to style something, so it pushes me outside my comfort zone a little. These shoes for example, though I like them, I probably wouldn't buy them myself, but I had fun thinking how I would style them if they were mine.
The shoes in question are from the latest ICED range by Irregular Choice and I'll be looking at the red and black Lashed £99. I decided to style the red pair with gingham trousers. Now I know there's already a lot of gingham in the shoe, but I liked clashing the same print, in different colours. On top we have this Alice Takes A Trip grey wolf sweatshirt and rather than go totally red/black, I picked this green Banned Apparel handbag to finish. For the black pair, which have a gorgeous glitter panel, I chose this Anna Field dress. I'd had it in my saved list for ages and almost forgot it was there, but it looks great with these trainers. I added some plain leggings and this banana clutch from New Look to keep it fun and funky. Do you like these looks, which is your favourite?
