Day 857 - For You, I'd Wait 'Til Kingdom Come

Shoes: Black ruffle front strappy shoes Matalan

Sometimes an outfit comes together in a rather haphazard type of way (not always a bad thing). Take today as an example; I picked out a pair of shoes (not these), thought they could maybe work with these floral tights. Picked out a dress to match the two, then none of it felt right. I decided to look for black shoes instead and found these. Then I realised I didn't need the dress I originally picked as I was choosing that purely for the other shoes. I ended up in this plain black one and my outfit was nothing liked I planned! I felt a little wintry, especially as my initial outfit was brighter, but I decided to stick with this because I haven't worn the tights for ages nor the shoes. I didn't 'feel' like wearing this dress though (my style is very mood dictated) and the tights are a little too 'hipster' for me and after all the Easter eggs (how quickly did they disappear btw?), I had a line across my belly where the tights stopped and I have to admit I would have felt comfier in something else. That's just the way it goes sometimes though and it's nothing to stress about, it just happens.  Maybe I'll find a much better outfit for the shoes I originally hauled out!

Wearing: Black shift dress and floral tights Primark, wine belt Swan by Clements Ribeiro, flower hair clips Debenhams, flower and ribbon comb Yama Yama Pretty Mama.
Fit: Narrow toe box, although these are my regular size. 4 straps with adjustable buckles. Heel 4 3/4" and small concealed platform.
Comfort: With the narrow toe, they will probably ache after a few hours, but I didn't have any issues today.
